Batman Beyond Arkham would be cool but personally I'd rather a prequel continuation that flushes out young batman with Roger Craig Smith that's a sequel to Origins and Shadows
I don't know. It seems like a bad idea to go with another prequel. After the abysmal failure of SSKTJ, there needs to be a kind of a palate cleanser in my view. Going back to a timeline that is over a decade old seems like an obvious miscalculation, and even if this wasn't the case, they'd probably find a way to ruin things all over again and/or create something underwhelming since the idea is too safe. On the other hand, choosing something completely fresh bears a greater opportunity to reinvigorate the franchise and DC's footing in gaming. A Batman Beyond game could be exactly what is needed here, but, mind you, it isn't the only idea that could really work.
An Arkham Batman beyond game would be crazy!

I've got four different game ideas baring in mind that Kevin Conroy is no longer available:
1. Probably the most obvious, but another game with Roger Craig Smith
2. Batman Arkham Beyond with Terry McGuiness
3. Gotham Knights Arkham Legacy with Tim Drake, Dick Grayson, Jason Todd and Azrael (not coop/multiplayer)
4. Arkham's Justice League
Hope they make it good as Arkham Knight

Warner Brothers wants to outsource most if not all of their IPs to bring in the most profit which is exactly what they need right now. If SONY wants to foot the bill and make it exclusive, I don't think WB will really care as long as they get paid

I don’t want to be negative but What's the purpose of it? All the talent has gone away at hundred star game. Rocksteady is no more than an empty shell enslaved by the Warner’s crappy decisions. I would like a Batman arkham Beyond, but I don’t have any faith in this new Rocksteady.

If dragon ball budokai tenkaichi 3 can get a sequel (sparking zero) then i'm 100% confident that Rocksteady can give us a new Arkham game, or even a solid Justice League game.

I really want to see the Damian Wayne Batman game Revived and Reworked also I would really love to see D.A.V.E as the Main Antagonist.
The problem with introducing Damian to the franchise is that Talia al ghul is dead so how will he be born and we also didn't see him with ras in the shadow war dlc for knight so I doubt he was born in the universe since I also doubt ras would leave Damian alone somewhere else the only way to bring him into the franchise is if catwoman is his mother in this universe

@@yodalog202 Bruce and Talia shared a night in Metropolis remember? Are you forgetting that she mentions this in Arkham City. She likely conceived him after their night together in that city. In which case she kept him hidden from Bruce for some reason. This was a plan that Rocksteady had for their new Arkham game but it was shelved when WB brought an idea for that crap game to rocksteady for Sefton hill to create.
@@greytakerrev7147 yeah but it doesnt work with the arkhamverse since even after talia died and ras was dying damian was nowhere to be seen you'd expect the demon's head's granchild to be there to help defend against the resitance and if hes still a child then atlist be there with his grandfather since hes the only one damian has left exept for batman whom he didnt know

No it was canceled since wb Montreal was working on the game and the rumors here talk about rocksteady making a game not them so... but I mean it is possible warner bros themselves put the project on the shelf for a time and now they took it off the shelf and plan to continue the project with rocksteady

They need to make this new game more like their ilder Batman games
Something I'd like if it is a Batman Beyond game from a map design angle; at the lowest level, it is the same architecture as classic gotham, except wrappen in metal girdering, and then built over the top of that is the cyberpunk style buildings of Neo Gotham, the idea being that neo gotham was literally built over old gotham, which indeed has precident, since that's what happened to Wonder City underneath what would become Arkham City, and indeed parts of the redevelopment of Founder's island in Arkham Knight.
Just give the rights to the Arkhamverse to someone else
But NOT just anyone else.
To me The Suicide Squad isn't cannon. But a Batman Beyond game is the best decision, especially since Kevin Conroy is no longer here. Maybe even have Nightwing be his mentor instead of Old Man Bruce.
If rocksteady does end up making a Batman Beyond game it’s gotta be like this.
Remove SSKTJL as canon, Bruce actually dies at the end of Arkham knight, fast forward 60 years in the future where Gotham is completely futuristic and Terry mcginnis who is played by Will Friedle is already Batman
Or it could be a Batman Azrael game following Bruce’s death and the true canon would be Azrael breaking the sword and confronting the order
Good idea. But I don't think Bruce would be dead, I think he was always meant to survive the end of Arkham knight, and become nightmare Batman.

While I would wish them to just retcon the existence of suicide squad and continue the arkham games with Batman (Bruce Wayne), the second best thing to me would be a Batman Beyond game since Terry hardly gets any recognition in the DC universe as a whole in spite of Beyond being awesome.

I'll throw my hat into the ring and say it could either be Beyond Arkham or at the very least a new game that will set up that story in a new trilogy that'll still focus on Bruce but slowly getting older... or we could just be getting another trilogy taking place not too long after KTJL

They could try doing Arkham spinoff games for the other league members and build up the other heroes since Batman has already been established. Plus I could only dream that Kevin did lots of voice over in advance if they are making another Batman game, but again I could only dream.

@@hulkhogan12345 because it limits the amount of people who can play it. Plus it will only backfire for rocksteady limiting the amount of money they can; also they have already lost so much money it has ended up with employees being laid off have already lost so much of it. Like with Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth that game sold the most out of any game this year however it fell short in sales that square enix had hoped it would be projected into accumulating. This was all due to being a PlayStation exclusive. If you don’t want it to be on a dead platform like Xbox fine just at least let it come to platforms like Pc so that everyone may have a chance to play it. Like Silent Hill 2 Remake.

I just want to watch a whole Caboose wakthrough of a new Batman game made from within the heart of comic book fans and not greedy enterprise bosses. It would make so much sense to do Batman beyond Arkham
If the rumor is true that they are making a new Batman game. It has to be a response to Suicide Squad's failure or at least that is what I'm going with. a Batman beyond game would be good so long as they to keep to the spirit of that continuity(I.E. Terry mcginnis is essentially Bruce Wayne's son and such and he's the new Batman). They don't have to do the return of the Joker arc either although I wouldn't be upset if it was either.
As for the new voice actor, we aren't getting conroy back and while its sad, I think Craig Smith is a decent heir to our favorite Batsy.

Idk funny enough I felt the voice actor for Batman in Lego Batman 2 and 3 was pretty close to Conroy lol, obviously there is differences between the two but I always felt he was one of the closer ones
I agree the gameplay and foundation for SSKTJL was good, but falls short on the game loop and mission variety

No I can forgive them since they weren't the once making decisions warner bros are the ones to blame here because they thought they can just take a beloved franchise and make a cash grab game and get away with it but they didn't it cost them so much money to make the game that they didn't get the full amount back they deserve it

Rocksteady needs to bring back Paul from TAS and let him cook up a storyline. As for the voice of Batman..Gotham Knights video game Batman VA is a great choice and if he isn’t around then Jensen Ackles is the best Batman, he knocked it out of the park in the tomorrow verse.

Honestly they should just start off small and do Batman and Robin first then Justice League then Batman beyond idk the Arkham universe is heavily inspired by The animated Universe so that's what I would do
I really would prefer a sequel to Arkham Origins that is on PS 5 and Xbox, mainly because I really want to play Dick Grayson as Robin, a lot of the times we have Tim Drake or Damian Wayne as Robin, it's time Dick gets the spotlight as Robin personal opinion. Couch Co-op would be nice.

Terrible idea ff7 and ff16 didn’t sell well as square enix wanted even though they where the games that sold the biggest this year all because they were ps exclusives. Rocksteady has already lost so much money because of this game to make it ps exclusive is already limiting any money to restore your studio. They need to consider this.
i hope we get Batman Beyond and on PS5 i think it would be great especially with the adaptive triggers and i know alot of people didn't like using the batmobile alot in AK but i didn't mind it but i would like to use the batwing in a beyond Arkham game i feel there is alot of potential in this but if we dont get a new batman game i want a new single player DC game im not a fan of these live service games i bought one and just a few years later they shut the service down so $70 or $80 waisted
