Steven Universe is such a revolutionary show. It gave us characters and backstory no other cartoon dared to toy with! It showed the struggles of losing someone you love in a deep way other than showing the characters getting over it in a day. It showed the conflicting feelings of finding and coming to terms with who you are and what someone expects out of you. Steven Universe brought so many people together and created such a good community. The golden age of cartoons is over and now all that is left are bad shows like teen titans go and the reboot of thunder cats. Adventure time is over, gravity falls is over, we bare bears is over, and the shows that showed potential got cancelled like ok ko let’s be hero’s. I get that some people didn’t think it was good but I loved it. Steven Universe didn’t just set the bar for cartoons, it IS the bar for cartoons. Maybe one day Cartoon Network will redeem itself and make more awesome shows. But for now we will just have to keep praying that the alright shows like Craig of the creek, mao mao, and summer camp island will create a new era and become something greater. After all... shows don’t start out awesome, there is always some filler. Even Steven Universe had filler in the beginning, the shows first words were NOOOOOOOOOO! So even if it’s over, everyone will always remember the masterpiece that is Steven Universe. well, a new era will come, but I will be too old to appreciate the new cartoons, I think. Dude I watched the finale episodes right when they came out and they were so good. I love Steven Universe and am sad it’s ending but I like how they ended it off
gosh darn it I...Well I liked the show and I learned to like the ending though I hope steven and his friends reunite some day. Leaving his possibly tax free home and family to seek his fortunes in the oh so kind...You know what I loved the ending, Stephen will find himself probably while licking covid-19 away, and then they will have good times together as the timeless crystal gems who found each other on the planet earth. If I think of that as realistic then it was a great ending and that's how I'm going to see it. Conny and the Crewneverse will be there, Or at least the gems will be...I have my peace with it, whatever happens they all have their lives to live.
I understand that Steven Universe isn't the best show to walk on this earth, and I understand that it has a lot of flaws, but the biggest problem with the criticism regarding Steven Universe is that the critics try to do everything they can to ruin a fan's experience. Despite how valid criticism may be, almost every video I've seen regarding the issues with Steven Universe is incredibly intense. They try to shame fans of the show for liking it, and try their best to stop you from enjoying the show. I've never understood how anybody saw that as "doing them a favor." Sure, now we understand that there are flaws with the show, but why do you need to go any farther than that? Why do you need to go out of our way to try and stop us from enjoying what we enjoy? I can still like a show, even if it's bad. Plenty of critics are so fueled by their hatred of the fandom that they think the fandom defines the majority. "I know there are *some* people who are nice in the fandom", "I know that there are a FEW fans that are good people", etc. That's just not the truth. It's a given that the internet makes the minority louder. We don't all need to have our eyes opened to the "terrible" reality of this show. You can call it bad, you can hate the show, nothing is stopping you from having that opinion. So why do you feel the need to stop us from having our opinions? And before anyone says it, I do understand that I am being hypocritical by saying that this behavior is present in a lot of the critics while also saying that they shouldn't define the worst aspects of the fanbase as the majority. I know that a lot of critics did used to like the show, and I know that there are plenty of critics who actually made this criticism in hopes to see their criticism applied for the betterment of the series. Although as I have said, the internet has made the minority louder. Which unfortunately results in these more intense critics being given more recognition than the ones that truly want to be constructive.
It's the same thing with RWBY RWBY Obviously has it's flaws but some TH-camrs just exaggerate those flaws and make RWBY seem like the worst show in the world Take Adel Aka for example he has made 200+ basically calling RWBY a bad show But to him it seems like it's just constructive criticism It's clearly not criticism if you need to make 200+ videos explaining why people shouldn't watch RWBY He clearly hates the show. But since its the only thing getting him views and so many people agree on it. Nobody ever gets to watch RWBY and see if it's a good show because people call it bad. Point is If someone says a show is trash i'd recommend watching it and seeing if *YOU* like it. Don't ignore it because someone else says it's bad. Experience it for yourself then you decided if it's bad or good in your opinion, don't let anyone else decide that for you. That's all. Thank you and goodbye.

When I saw this show first air a few years ago I thought I was stupid and I was 8 or 9. Now I’m 13 almost 14 and wish I kept up with the show. I binged all of it along with the movie and future and now ima do close to just breaking down because this was such a good show and I was able to relate to Steven so much.
same i watched/ enjoyed it a when i was younger but i didn’t have cable so i couldn’t always watch it. I got kinda scared when i was 9 and saw lapiz and jasper fuse so after i didn’t make a effort to watch it(i love Garnets fusion song i memorized it hehe).But now I’m 13 and i wished I could have watched it growing up instead of binge watching it now, It really could have helped me. I finished everything and i wish there was more i miss it so much :(

It would always bring a smile to my face to see Steven livving his best life. Whenever I hear a nice calming song, I am somewhat happy and find myself enjoying it, but whenever it comes to SU songs, it just hits different. It has always managed to make me feel... I don't know some sense of calmness I have never felt before. These songs are special for me and I will forever remember this show in my heart

I haven’t watched Steven universe yet. I wasn’t big on TV back when it was on. I’ve only seen the episode where Steven chases after everyone with the perfect breakfast. Even just one episode and this show is obviously one of the best shows ever made. It’s sad to see it go, but it’s good they didn’t drag it out like the simpsons. May it forever live on with repeats and sad nights getting lit up by Steven and the crystal gems. I’m going to binge this entire show, because it looks amazing. why can’t everything be like this. thank you, SU for changing so many peoples lives for the better, and about to light up my sad nights for a while.

my little cousin was watching some show that was on cartoon network but nothing compared to the shows I watched when I was his age. so I told him he should watch steven universe. and this kid said "what's that?" I face was shocked so i blessed this child by showing him an episode and now he's obsessed. I was so proud patted my head and said "you did good older cousin."

This show honestly gives me happiness and i'm really sad it ended, but happy i was able to spend the past 6 months getting super deep into the fandom. The most person to me ever, the only reason I held onto life, the greatest thing that happened to me, my best friend and the only one who was *ever* there for me, the one who helped me after experiencing that traumatizing event and with all my PTSD, and to me.. I saw him as my only actual purpose or reason I was here. To love and care for him. My rabbit, my favorite baby bunny boy, my little fluffy sweet-tart, my little buddy... passed away almost two years ago now on December 17th, 2018, yet it still feels like the day he left was only a week ago. I can't believe it's been almost two years already... His favorite show of all time was Steven Universe and his favorite song was Full Disclosure. I used to sing it to him and play it for him all the time and he would calm down and get so happy, sometimes he would binky and run circles around my room when he heard it. I can't listen to that song without sobbing. I remember adopting him just a few weeks before the first episode of Steven Universe ever aired. I watched it with him all the time when it came out. This series has such a special and close place in my heart because of that. This show was kind of the last link that I had to him after he passed away. But... *he never got to see the ending.* And now that the show is over that link to him is gone now. I can rewatch episodes, sure, but that only does so much. I have wanted to end things so many times since, because I feel like my life is without meaning without him. As I said earlier, he felt like my only purpose and he was my only true friend all throughout my life. I miss his little dark brown nose, light brown ears, and the rest of his coat that was the color of a pure and soft white. His little grunts of joy and when he would chase after me and run circles around my feet when I got back home from school. " *Everything I ever did, I did for her.* " " *Now she's gone,* " *" b u t I ' m s t I l h e r e . "*
I remember first watching this show. I knew, for sure, that I'd found my next obsession. But it evolved into something more meaningful than an obsession. It involved into a memory that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Past my childhood, even when I'm a boring adult. I'll remember Steven, his optimistic attitude, and perhaps one of the most important lessons he has taught me: "Life and death and love and birth, And peace and love on the planet Earth. Is there anything that's worth more than peace and love on the planet Earth?"

gosh darn it I...Well I liked the show and I learned to like the ending though I hope steven and his friends reunite some day. Leaving his possibly tax free home and family to seek his fortunes in the oh so kind...You know what I loved the ending, Stephen will find himself probably while licking covid-19 away, and then they will have good times together as the timeless crystal gems who found each other on the planet earth. If I think of that as realistic then it was a great ending and that's how I'm going to see it. Conny and the Crewneverse will be there, Or at least the gems will be...I have my peace with it, whatever happens they all have their lives to live.
I understand that Steven Universe isn't the best show to walk on this earth, and I understand that it has a lot of flaws, but the biggest problem with the criticism regarding Steven Universe is that the critics try to do everything they can to ruin a fan's experience.
Despite how valid criticism may be, almost every video I've seen regarding the issues with Steven Universe is incredibly intense. They try to shame fans of the show for liking it, and try their best to stop you from enjoying the show. I've never understood how anybody saw that as "doing them a favor." Sure, now we understand that there are flaws with the show, but why do you need to go any farther than that? Why do you need to go out of our way to try and stop us from enjoying what we enjoy?
I can still like a show, even if it's bad. Plenty of critics are so fueled by their hatred of the fandom that they think the fandom defines the majority. "I know there are *some* people who are nice in the fandom", "I know that there are a FEW fans that are good people", etc. That's just not the truth. It's a given that the internet makes the minority louder. We don't all need to have our eyes opened to the "terrible" reality of this show. You can call it bad, you can hate the show, nothing is stopping you from having that opinion. So why do you feel the need to stop us from having our opinions?
And before anyone says it, I do understand that I am being hypocritical by saying that this behavior is present in a lot of the critics while also saying that they shouldn't define the worst aspects of the fanbase as the majority. I know that a lot of critics did used to like the show, and I know that there are plenty of critics who actually made this criticism in hopes to see their criticism applied for the betterment of the series. Although as I have said, the internet has made the minority louder. Which unfortunately results in these more intense critics being given more recognition than the ones that truly want to be constructive.

RWBY Obviously has it's flaws but some TH-camrs just exaggerate those flaws and make RWBY seem like the worst show in the world

It's clearly not criticism if you need to make 200+ videos explaining why people shouldn't watch RWBY
He clearly hates the show. But since its the only thing getting him views and so many people agree on it.
Nobody ever gets to watch RWBY and see if it's a good show because people call it bad.
Point is
If someone says a show is trash i'd recommend watching it and seeing if *YOU* like it.
Don't ignore it because someone else says it's bad. Experience it for yourself then you decided if it's bad or good in your opinion, don't let anyone else decide that for you.

When I saw this show first air a few years ago I thought I was stupid and I was 8 or 9. Now I’m 13 almost 14 and wish I kept up with the show. I binged all of it along with the movie and future and now ima do close to just breaking down because this was such a good show and I was able to relate to Steven so much.
same i watched/ enjoyed it a when i was younger but i didn’t have cable so i couldn’t always watch it. I got kinda scared when i was 9 and saw lapiz and jasper fuse so after i didn’t make a effort to watch it(i love Garnets fusion song i memorized it hehe).But now I’m 13 and i wished I could have watched it growing up instead of binge watching it now, It really could have helped me. I finished everything and i wish there was more i miss it so much :(

It would always bring a smile to my face to see Steven livving his best life. Pearl sometimes was just a mood, amethyst was just always amazing, lapis was more of a mood Rudy is just pure, Sapphire is just butiful, Garnet was always just sitting there like she own the place cuz she does, and finally Peridot was like a little angry slice of pie

Steven universe is the ONLY thing that ever managed to make me genuinely sob crying and not because of fear or embarrassment, but because of sadness and happiness
It will forever be a special show to me because it has managed to do something to me that nothing and no one had every done to me before
Whenever I hear a nice calming song, I am somewhat happy and find myself enjoying it, but whenever it comes to SU songs, it just hits different. It has always managed to make me feel... I don't know some sense of calmness I have never felt before. These songs are special for me and I will forever remember this show in my heart

I haven’t watched Steven universe yet. I wasn’t big on TV back when it was on. I’ve only seen the episode where Steven chases after everyone with the perfect breakfast. Even just one episode and this show is obviously one of the best shows ever made. It’s sad to see it go, but it’s good they didn’t drag it out like the simpsons. May it forever live on with repeats and sad nights getting lit up by Steven and the crystal gems. I’m going to binge this entire show, because it looks amazing. why can’t everything be like this. thank you, SU for changing so many peoples lives for the better, and about to light up my sad nights for a while.

This show was my entire childhood. I feel like a part of me ended when it did. It taught me so much about myself and the person I want and am trying to be. Thank you, Steven Universe. For the tears, the laughter, and the amazing memories. I’ll never forget this show
my little cousin was watching some show that was on cartoon network but nothing compared to the shows I watched when I was his age. so I told him he should watch steven universe. and this kid said "what's that?" I face was shocked so i blessed this child by showing him an episode and now he's obsessed. I was so proud patted my head and said "you did good older cousin."

The most person to me ever, the only reason I held onto life, the greatest thing that happened to me, my best friend and the only one who was *ever* there for me, the one who helped me after experiencing that traumatizing event and with all my PTSD, and to me.. I saw him as my only actual purpose or reason I was here. To love and care for him. My rabbit, my favorite baby bunny boy, my little fluffy sweet-tart, my little buddy... passed away almost two years ago now on December 17th, 2018, yet it still feels like the day he left was only a week ago. I can't believe it's been almost two years already... His favorite show of all time was Steven Universe and his favorite song was Full Disclosure. I used to sing it to him and play it for him all the time and he would calm down and get so happy, sometimes he would binky and run circles around my room when he heard it. I can't listen to that song without sobbing. I remember adopting him just a few weeks before the first episode of Steven Universe ever aired. I watched it with him all the time when it came out. This series has such a special and close place in my heart because of that. This show was kind of the last link that I had to him after he passed away. But... *he never got to see the ending.* And now that the show is over that link to him is gone now. I can rewatch episodes, sure, but that only does so much. I have wanted to end things so many times since, because I feel like my life is without meaning without him. As I said earlier, he felt like my only purpose and he was my only true friend all throughout my life. I miss his little dark brown nose, light brown ears, and the rest of his coat that was the color of a pure and soft white. His little grunts of joy and when he would chase after me and run circles around my feet when I got back home from school.

I remember first watching this show. I knew, for sure, that I'd found my next obsession. But it evolved into something more meaningful than an obsession. It involved into a memory that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Past my childhood, even when I'm a boring adult. I'll remember Steven, his optimistic attitude, and perhaps one of the most important lessons he has taught me:
