legit Steven was 13 when I was 13. I literally grew up with this spiralling ball of anxiety, as a spiralling ball of anxiety myself. I may be the only one who enjoyed Steven universe Future, because it showed the consequences of childhood trauma. A lot of people didn't like that Steven was angry or depressed or stressed. But people like us need that representation, need people to understand what it's like. It was perfect to me. he couldn't explain why he needed to be needed, he had thoughts he felt like he shouldn't have, and literally became corrupted when he tried at the last moment to hang onto his thoughts. I don't like people being in my head. I don't want to open up. I get yelled at, cursed at, threatened when I keep it inside, but I'm dismissed and my things get taken from me when I open up. Unlike Steven, I really have no one to go to. He was kinda like a friend along the way, hitting 16 and growing, physically, but not mentally. We understood each other. There will never be another show like Steven Universe. Thanks Rabecca Sugar.
I dont know why everyone hates Future. Its a masterpiece that shows us we're not alone. Steven Universe isnt a normal show. Its the adventure of Steven, showing that our brave boy even has flaws. Everyone does. I feel like that season really hit me hard.

Holy shit I wish I could go back to these times but then I also remember how shit my life was back then, coming back home at the age of 11 after being bullied at school to my parents yelling and hitting me because of my grades and behavior because all I was trying to do was fit in, now I realize we don't need to fit in life is to short to fit in be you and be free and happiness will follow because at the end of the day you can always try to shape into someone else but when you look in the mirror nothing will change.

To all those struggling right now and going through deep valleys my prayers go with you. This life is hard and there are many trials and tribulations. I know when I've struggled previously in the past especially with sadness it can be hard, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Also ask yourself, what in your life gives you worth or hope? Many temporary things come and go and our emotions are here for a second and gone the next. The greatest help I ever got was the hope I have in Jesus Christ, who forgave me of my sin, taking my condemnation and giving me life. He brings hope and joy and peace in the hardest situations. Does this mean it is always peachy, of course not, but I do have someone I can put my hope in, knowing that I am secure forever. I know not all people will agree, but I believe this is the best way to love someone is to spread a hope that you've found. So in light of that, love you all, stay strong, and keep pushing forward!
