Awesome Sir!! Young Beretta just ordered another Tisas 1911. That video will be on the Beretta9mmUSA Channel in March 2024 sometime. All the best Sir! Stay Safe! 😊😎🇺🇸👍 Beretta Sr.
I like the looks of the Bantam and its a very accurate shooting 1911 but I'm with on the milling of the slide. That would bother me to. I did get around to shooting the MAC 1911 and it shot fine and only had to failed to feed. I also changed out the plunger spring to get a more positive engagement. Thanks for the video, Slim.
This is about the third review I have seen you do and I subbed to your channel. I have a question: Being called a Bantam and being that light, is the frame aluminum or steel? I noticed the ramp is in the frame so it matters what the material is, unless they put a steel ramp in the aluminum frame like Ruger does. Thanks.
I wonder if they had to give up the Bantam name since Fusion has had a Bantam model 1911 for many many years. I didn't see you remove the trigger guard tag proclaiming NO MIM PARTS.
That's good. A 1911 doesn't look right with all those aftermarket Glock slide cuts. I imagine it shaved some weight but thinned out the slide quite a bit too.
Actually Earl Schieb used to advertise for $39.95 but I'm probably 25 or 30 years Older than you to remember that. Enjoyed the video but You Tube decided to take away my like button. How does the pistol do with Hollow Points?
Haha, I remember that commercial. My sister got the Maaco $99 paint job. Painted over every emblem, chrome trim around windows and even the grill. Lol.
Those tooling marks in the slide cutouts are bad. That pistol should be a BLEMISHED model and discounted. Contact SDS\Tisas and send it back. I bet you will get a new slide or an entirely new pistol. No way that should have passed any kind of inspection. That's even really really bad for a BLEMISHED discounted pistol. Didn't you notice all the marks at the gun store? Or did you online order it and they didn't do returns? Either way send it back to SDS.
Old school Tisas!! Got a couple hundred rounds thru my Bantam 45…
No issues/ used 4 types of mags / all round ball… Aluminum frame!
My first Tisas BR 45 carry came in a cardboard box love that gun.
They actually have the Ed brown angled grip

I have the Bantam in 9mm. Very nice gun with near flawless running.
Love Tisas !
Really good looking gun
I think the Devil Ray/Manta Ray/Sting Ray models replaced the Bantams in Tisas’ lineup.
I don’t have any mill marks on my Bantam. It’s my favorite pistol…very accurate

It is an aluminum frame sir.

The bantam is an older model that’s no longer produced.

The bobtail makes it a no go for me. Just ruins the looks of a 1911
