- Picked up the new Blink video doorbell the other day; it's a great fit with the rest of my Blink setup. Installation was not entirely as straightforward as I'd like...but might have been better if I had read the instructions!

Spent all day trying to line up the camera slots with the backplate hooks & getting it to snap into place. Still not done & then what, 6 months to go at it again? Wonder if they ever thought of a small screw?
I bought the blink camera about a month ago and just got around to installing it today. It's different than yours. I like yours better. The wire hook up on mine is not on the plate. It's on the doorbell part it's self. Bad design. They probably changed it to save a few cents.
The instructions show to start putting tne cover on from the bottom, get it in place, and push down from the top to get it to "click"
Can you get the Blink or Arenti doorbell unit's live view to be sent to the amazon show 5 continuously? If so, can you make a demo on how?
Not that I'm aware, although since mine is running on battery power I wouldn't do so anyway because it would drain the battery quickly.

Where did you connect the wires to for the doorbell
That the great part - it can operate wirelessly! You can wire it in if you’d like, but the wires in my old house have been disconnected for years, so I just pushed them back into the wall and set it up to buzz my phone when someone presses it
Do you know how to remove the camera if you loose the tool
I haven't tried, but I'm pretty sure you can use a screwdriver.
my door phone back plate hook get broken while installing. please help me what will I do.. please please help
Aww dang, sorry to hear that! If you can't glue it back together (and maybe even if you can), you'll probably need to contact the manufacturer. I don't think they sell replacement parts, so you may have to spring for a whole new device.

Can’t seem to get the camera on the back plate …. PLEASE HELP. LOL
Do you mean the mounting plate or the battery cover? If the latter, I had the same problem! You have to push it in and slide it down. It's not super intuitive but if you look at the little pegs you can see how it works.
yeah I'm having a hard time getting the back plate back on. it's so annoying.
lubricate the gasket and it will snap right on
