*HEY* In case you haven't seen the community post, I'm not gonna make any more Death Battle reviews until 2026, where I'll come back once a year to review each Death Battle episode. I do have a couple Death Battle related videos cooking, but those will be later. Anyways, gotta compile these 12 or so videos into one giant video. BYE! 1:05:22 In the cartoon, the literal concept of mandy smiling caused the entire fabric of reality to just F*@king collapse, so yeah there are some uni/multi stuff there.
Great video man! Just wanted to mention a few things about Scooby Courage!: While the action might be recycled the animation is def not! I redid the animation for every scene! And while impressive in concept, not noticeable enough for people to pick up on so maybe I SHOULD HAVE done it, would have saved me some time! And about Courage VO, ask me in a few years!
Oh hi Luis, glad you put notes of how you did that many could have notice it. And uh here’s the big question? What happen between the Death Battle team and Courage VA not cooperate and what led to the decision of Edward Bosco replacement? Just a little of explaining for you Luis.
Just went through the episode frame by frame and, yeah, I'm seeing it now. I'm noticing some differences in positioning and bends with Courage's hind legs in the animations.
Thank you for standing up for Cole vs Alex. Infamous was the game I grew up on the ps3 and this was the first DB I got to vote for and I watched this on my first week back to work. It's easily my favorite DB of all time. I love it so much that I have the full episode saved on my phone.
Man it's been a wild ride these past... (goes to back to check channel) 15 videos?! Good grief man yeah take a break you've earned it. It was fun seeing your various opinions on Death Battle and seeing your style of analysis and video production. Death Battle was a series I just sort of found on a whim as I started using TH-cam and became an obsession of mine up through its first few seasons. But I started to fall off the show after Episode 100 severely disappointed me and the match-ups became less interesting and more obscure to me. Also just general life stuff and new interests being a thing. I'd watch an episode or two here and there but it was still a passing interest. But finding your channel and watching your reviews of Death Battle reignited my interest and love for Death Battle, one I didn't think I still had. I went back to watch old battles I hadn't watched in _years_ and got to look at them from a new lens (for better and for worse). But it also got me to go and watch a bunch of battles I'd never touched before to prepare for your reviews on each season and I got a BUNCH of new favorites. Like I had no idea Link vs Cloud got a rematch, one of my favorite match-ups and one of my favorite videos from the original Screw-Attack seasons, and while it was unfortunate Link didn't win this time, the fight was beautifully animated and went into so much more of both Link and Cloud's arsenals. Trunks vs Silver was one I didn't expect to love as much as I did (though this episode did make me a Silver fan), but the combatants and their powers were so wonky and deep and made the battle seem really difficult to determine. And the animation, THE ANIMATION- easily my favorite sprite fight in the whole show. And I could go on about Goku Black vs hsalF, Bill Vs Discord, Gojo vs Makima... but I'll save my fingers and people's reading retention. Thanks for the awesome videos and giving me something to do during my last year of college. Good luck with your next project. Also thank you for being one of the 20 people who has played and loves Kid Icarus: Uprising, this game always deserves more eyes on it.
As someone who is a massive Infamous and has played prototype, you actually hit something without realizing it. Cole being better at distances while Alex is better up close is genuinely connected to their games. The infamous games have a large focus on ranged combat. A lot of the abilities are ranged with very little in terms of up close attacks. While prototype has a larger focus on up close fights. A lot of the abilities in those games are melee centered
@JonathanFrostathan oh while I've got you here, I thought I should mention his most wanted matchup is... Conan the Barbarian vs. The Hulk, he's really proud of the matchup idea, so I just let him have it.
After so long, Mr. Frostathan's bizarre Death Battle adventure has ended. At least for now. I remember stumbling on the Season 1 Ranking looking for DB videos to watch, and I'm glad I stuck around to see every part of it. Whatever you make next, I'll be sure to watch it.
The reason why Beast Wars wasn't added in the analysis of Frieza vs Megatron is because that version of Megatron is completely different from the one we know and love.
@@DoctorHippo Technically, since G1 characters are canonically multiple times bigger than Beast Wars characters, they scale and surpass them in anything, tho I don't remember if there is anything in Beast Wars that comes close to stuff shown in G1.
What a Finale! While I can’t say I have agreed with most of your opinions, I have still really enjoyed watching this retrospective and can also certainly say you are one of the main members of community who has inspired me to create my own ranking series later down the road. Thank You for an incredible retrospective series Edit: 2:21:47 Also Ay, I can now finally say I have Bragging Rights in the comments. LET’S GO!
19:34 It literally blew up my pc, cmon man why you gotta do that 😔. Fr though, been insane how you put out all these videos after so long, its been a wild ride (and we def plan to finish our ranking eventually) really commend the effort these kind of rankings you do. Also inhuman best track, W 😎.
A small thing I love about Doctor vs Rick is the soundtrack has a reference to a song a Band made about the doctor around the time the 10th doctor was gonna regenerate too the 11th. The doctor is dying by chameleon circuit.
1:05:19 I haven't watched the show in years but I do remember an episode where Mandy smiles for the first time and it shattered all of reality, forcing the universe to basically do a hard reset.
2:24:32 Time, huh? Thanks… Thanks for the tip, Jonathan. Sincerely. Your takes and elaborations have been consistently enlightening across this series, and allowed me to gain the level of appreciation for this show that I now have.
One more ranking, for all times sake 16. Skyrim VS Dark Souls: I feel really bad putting this last. I guess this is just may one I can’t care for as much as others. But hey, it’s still got good things in it! The music and some of the animation are amazing! 15. Killua VS Misaka: Yep, formerly bottom spot, I have lightened up to this one, solely for the entertaining analysis. And I have grown to like the battle animation more as well. 14. Vader VS Obito: Another one I feel kinda bad putting this low. Music’s good, animation’s good, but the ending kinda left me more confused than anything. 13. Phoenix VS Raven: Yep, the weakest of the season is this high for me. It’s still a bit flawed, but the animation, voice acting, and creativity in some scenes wins it over for me. 12. Frieza VS Megatron: This is one of the two episodes a good friend of mine is quite in love with. Great animation, and above all, amazing characterization from Megatron. Though yeah, Megatron’s analysis was a bit weird, and the pacing is kind of a problem, though not as bad as Amy VS Ramona. Good overall. Also, how did you give this the exact same score I gave Blake VS Mikasa, what the SLAG- 11. Galactus VS Unicron: This used to be number 6 on my list. I really love the dialogue for this one, but everything else feels weirdly underwhelming for a highly requested MU and finale. Not as bad as say, Gogeta VS Vegito, but still kinda whatever. 10. Ant-Man VS Atom: Yep, not only was this your most wanted, it was also one of mine! And boy, did it deliver! Great animation, gruesome death, good analysis, and banger track! 9. Martian Manhunter VS Silver Surfer: This episode encapsulates the whole theme of this season, how it started valuing the characters as characters and their sympathies towards others, given the right ones, and how Death Battle should be more than just senseless violence. Beautiful. 8. Cole VS Alex: Yeah, the analysis portions bring this down from being the top 5/6 it deserves. I just found the reuse of jokes to be kind of a dumb way to connect the two combatants. Everything else though? Amazing, and I’m so glad the InHuman remaster is the only remaster still on Spotify, because all the other remasters were either removed or are not showing up for whatever reason! 7. Stitch VS Rocket: Not much to say, fun analysis, fun characterization, fun overall! 6. Gojo VS Makima: I literally screamed “90!?!?” when you dropped your score for the episode. Anyway, fun, thoughtful, and beautiful, it deserves being the most viewed of the season as of now. That, or their anime were trending. Sprite animation’s a bit wonky at times though. 5. Guts VS Dimitri: Now we’re in the truly amazing episodes, the ones that defined this season and then some! I don’t have much unique to say, so I’ll just say, God’s Hand is my favorite track of the season! 4. Scooby VS Courage: A fun Tooney episode that feels less like a fight and more like two friends playing around and maybe trying to hurt each other maybe. 3. Bill VS Discord: Wacky fun editing, great fan service, splendid voice acting, amazing animation, the writing is amazing, and what? The conclusion sucks? After everything else, who cares? 2. Goku VS Superman: This episode feels like it was made to celebrate Death Battle and its legacy as a whole, and that’s what makes this feel so special to me. 1. Rick VS The Doctor: Guys… I-I’m speechless. As someone who isn’t that familiar with Rick and Morty or Doctor Who, I was more than ready to write this episode off as another Madara VS Aizen, where I’d just forget about it out of apathy. But then, the episode drop kicked me with great analysis, some of the best hand drawn animation in the series, the perfect fan service, BLAKASA DATE CAMEO EEEEEEEEEEE-! And my favorite part about this? The writing of the characters, it made me truly fall in love with The Doctor and heck, maybe I’ll visit the Doctor Who series one day! Rick’s cool too. Oh, and that music, 2nd favorite in the season! Makes you feel like you’re on a space adventure when you hear that! Well, I’m glad I could tag along on this journey. It changed me as much as it changed you. Until we meet again, Jonathan.
1:34:05 I had the same reasoning about the music usage. It encapsulates Superman always coming in to save the day. Even if it seems incredibly bleak, Superman always has a way of whooping the big bad with eyes of righteous rage, and turn to the civilians or his friends with a genuine smile that says “We did it, the battle’s won”. That pre-analysis made me love this episode simply because of that song before the battle itself. Now I listen to that song when I read Superman.
I won't say much about your criticism for Makima but i guess I'll just say her maniacal laughter at one person who stand between her and ultimate goal in form of his heart and just some guy who attacked her in movie theatre has very different context. I would understand it more if it was instead Makima HUNTING Gojo for his powers or something else entirely like his position in Jujutsu world but no. Even in face of greater dangers she doesn't bat an eye, Darkness Devil for example. Even fighting Pochita didn't make her laugh about it even though that's literally her icon and object of want. She laughs in Denji's face over his pathetic realisation that Denji truly broke while he's trying to rationalise Power's, his best friend + Aki's death as a mere dream. She explains her plan to how could she make Denji, one person that stands between her and Pochita, to go away as both of them made a contract that can't just be ignored. So she gave Denji a family. She gave him food, everything he ever wanted. And then tore it down, everything to last crumbs of it until the only thing he has is her. And that's exactly where she wants it because now he can't escape her, wherever he'll go she'll be there to tear it down again. Surprised to say that point still stands true even in part 2 with Barem killing and taking away everything normal from Denji years after she's gone. Laughing crazy because your months of planning is successful and one thing you desired is finally yours IS NOT SAME as laughing in battle about one time annoyance being ignored. She didn't laugh when Darkness took damage, she didn't care about killing Quanxi, she manipulates and controls whatever stands in her way, intimidates and kills whatever else thinks can oppose her. At best this interaction with Gojo shouldn't be different than the way she kills Reze, Quanxi and other weapon devil users if her intention is to control him. Swiftly kill them to prove herself to be above him and control his willing body to be her simp. Maybe I'm just too passionate about CSM but i just felt this criticism really doesn't feel fair to put it like absolute disapproval of her mischaracterisation in the battle. I agree about her screaming to Purple but at same time it still doesn't make sense because her brain is overwhelmed, she logically can't feel anything rn or react to it at all. At best the moment with her shooting Gojo should have her smirk for first time but nothing too out wild like full blown laugher, it feels disingenuous to say a devil that can't feel human emotions would laugh about winning a battle, her entire point that Pochita brings and even DEATH BATTLE ITSELF is that she can't understand human emotions and wanted to feel love which is not possible with her being manipulated by Japan higher ups from childhood to be their weapon and the reason why her only laughter in the manga comes from very sinister situation. Which is why it was so important that at the end of CSM Denji should take absolute loving care of Nayuta with lots of hugs and all that. It's also why I'm sad that the ending bit where Gojo in future runs into Denji taking care of Nayuta didn't stay. It basically takes a nod to both Gojo's nature as a teacher who wants future gen to be strong and in general canon way Makima's story ends.
Yeah, context is very important, and it was oddly ignored (or rather, overly simplified in order to make Gojo's situation comparable to Denji's). I feel like, through implying that someone who makes this criticism doesn't understand her character very well, ironically makes it seem like Jon himself doesn't actually understand her character very well. Makima is almost always calm and collected, not showing any major signs of emotion even when she's in front of some of the most dangerous opponents of the manga's first volume. Even when having to prove her superiority first before controlling someone, she's never really reacted much to it beyond her usual deadpan smile. The only times that Makima has shown more emotion beyond her usual aloof demeanor was when she was in the face of the things she desired most. She cried in the theater when she saw a couple in a movie hug each other and establish a relationship as equal partners, and she laughed when she had Denji utterly defeated and willing to be under her control because she was finally at the point she could have Pochita, the one being that she thinks she could have an equal loving relationship with beyond the usual pet-like superior/inferior relationships she typically views things as. As annoying as Gojo might be, I really don't think Makima would be that emotionally invested in her fight with him. She wasn't so much in the face of the Darkness Devil, who she wasn't able to defeat and knew she would have to retreat from. As strong as certain opponents might be, they don't have the specific aspects of Pochita that she was drawn to, beyond simply the fact he was strong and feared. Gojo, the Darkness Devil, etc. wouldn't provide her with the tools to create her perfect world Pochita would, for one. I don't really want to sound like I'm bashing Jon here, but to disregard this criticism of the fight and treat it like it's invalid, and also imply people with this criticism don't understand Makima's character, all while stripping the context and nuance behind the situation of her laughing fit in the manga really just makes him come off as disingenuous here. This was not the best way for him to go about defending the scene.
And thus, I collect my final Bragging Rights. Yeah, this season was fantastic. Not perfect, obviously, but the best of the Seasonal Era, hosting some of my all-time favorite episodes AND my current #1 Favorite of All Time that is Billcord! Glad I found this channel to get a different perspective on the series as a whole. Here's to the New Era™️!
Ive been looking foward to this for a while. And gotta say your final words on death battle did not disappoint. Those words about the impact things can have on us and our stories can on others wqs amazing. Loved hearing your takes and rundowns on these episodes! And how we differ! I loved freezatron but the flaws you brought up are valid! I always love hearing differing thoughts! Looking foward to your next videos dude! And ofc having bragging rights as a channel member! Love your content dude . Also look mom! I made it! 2:21:49 being civil and politely disagreeing and debating this stuff is peak
I watch the analysis in death battle only sometimes, but other than that, the fight animations is like the best, no matter who wins or lose, the animation is like the best, props to the animators
For me, the highlighted episodes in this video are: Bill cipher vs discord, peak is peak, i can't say anything that wasn't said before , this is the best showing of a battle between two reality warpers , and ofcourse the track is amazing Cole vs alex i knew nothing about these games, but episode made want to play them (One day) the fight was phenomenal and the track is easily one of the best Gojo vs makima, i was obsessed with csm back then and now i am obsessed with jjk, the fight was a little bit underwhelming since i expected more grand scale destruction from gojo more of makima's big devils but it was ok, the debate itself was fascinating, the fight is super close because of how you interpret their abilities interacting but the fascinating thing is the general consensus among the power scaling community was that gojo win, but after the episode it flipped into makima straight up soloing the verse, and the problem was that they making a lot of good points that makes the episode comes out like they heavily misinterpreted makima's abilities and the prime minister contract, regardless, it was a great episode Rick vs the doctor, oh boy this was my most awaited matchup, i am a Rick and Morty fan and a huge doctor who nerd that knows an ungodly amount of doctor who lore, i predicted that this episode would be after corage vs scooby and my brain flipped when the trailer came out, it was like a sleeping agent awakened and my sole purpose was to make everyone know how broken and op the doctor is, the fight itself was good, i was disappointed that it was grounded and wasn't some cosmic breaking stuff, but it's how the doctor would realistically fight, and i adore how they made big use of both of their intelligence and making the doctor wining by outsmarting Rick with a clever plan, like if it was a doctor who episode written by steven Moffat, and of course the track is fucking amazing, the perfect match of multiple orchestrated doctor who iconic soundtracks matched with sci fi music from Rick and Morty, it was perfect
I think why the doctor won is also thematical in a way Rick as always runawayed from his issues pretending that they never existed to begin with as a result he has become bitter and angry to the point that he never takes any threat seriously just crude joke and some achohole The Doctor on the otherhand while they has suffered a lot never forgets the faces they had once had over the years they will will always keep moving on even if the past is painful by saving the universe many times So what happens when you put a man whos always run away against a alien who will always face their demons well only one of them will truly move on from the past live in the present and strive for a better future
It’s truly been a ride, thank you Jonathan for all of the great times this series has given me, it’s really helped me out. I hope you succeed in all of your future endeavors
In addition to really leaning into the crazy toonforce shenanigans with Courage v. Scooby, I feel there's actually a narrative reason for it. When going over toonforce characters (with the sole exception being DeadPie which is an outlier due to having 4th wall interactions), they were able to come to a conclusion where one of the characters with TF powers would win. In some cases (Saitama v. Popeye) the loser wouldn't have TF powers, where others (Like DeadMask) *would* have them, but I can't think of a time when the *loser* had TF when the winner *didn't.* With this one, they needed to make sure they covered *everything* they could conceivably do, so there wouldn't be a case of "Um actually, xyz character is outerversal because of a one-off gag feat from an episode aired in 2016" in order to prove that, yes, this would in fact result in a tie, even if one were to take literal THE most off-the-wall usage of Toonforce this side of Popeye.
9:59 For me, the “2013 script” gag was more a symptom than the cause of any displeasure I feel towards Cole vs Alex, which would have to be the “relevancy” remarks. This didn’t start with the episode itself if memory serves, Sam and some of the others on the cast voiced their surprise that such an old episode would win the champions’ ballet. Which is fine, everyone’s entitled to their opinion after all, but it felt like he kept bringing it up every time the episode came up on cast. Which would still be fine(if more annoying) but then the “long after these characters were ever relevant” comment made it into the opening of the episode itself, and by that point, to me, it was really starting to come off as dismissive and kinda rude. Like, this episode was so wanted that it literally won a vote for Death Battle’s most invested fans, and the episode opens on a “who actually wants this?” joke. As a result, the rest of the analyses “lol 2010s were cringe” jokes feel more mean spirited than they may have otherwise. And to a last, broader point, the fixation on relevancy also rubs me the wrong way, because it kinda says the quiet part out loud: Cole vs Alex WAS going to happen before now, but didn’t, and having missed its chance might have never happened if not for the ToC. Some might see it as a Cinderella story, but for my money, the fact that such an iconic matchup as Cole vs Alex was deemed written off by one of the main faces of the crew on such subjective grounds is extremely discouraging. It’s says the quiet part out loud, that you can match-craft to your heart’s content, but if the crew doesn’t think a MU can pull big enough numbers, best not hold your breath. We all know it on some level, but it’s never fun to be reminded. That all being said, still love the fight itself. God tier track, excellent setup and character work, and it’s one of the handful of Season 10 eps that can’t pop universes like a snow globe attempting to contain the fabled Zobrinski Triangle. Genuinely, I love the episode for the most part… it’s mostly the stuff around it that left a bad taste in my mouth.
For the Bardock vs Omni-Man teaser trailer Bardock didn't have his red bandana. So I guessed that he was gonna get it from ripping off a piece of Omni-Man's cape and I was sadly wrong
Your DB videos have definitely been one of the ones to help make me appreciate why I love the series so much so I hope I you’ll have fun with what you plan on doing next cause I’ll definitely be there to see. Also, I believe for Nolan vs Bardock while they did give him the speed advantage, I think one of the deciding factors had to do with Bardock’s lack of experience with SS meaning he’d have a large stamina lost compared to the huge durability and stamina Nolan had due to smart atoms.
This was a great premiere to be along the ride for. You cooked Jon. While the reviews are over (for now) i await whatever you make in the future. Thanks for being an inspiration!
What a journey it was. I may have some different placement of how it ties to me. But in the end it’s all about our view of what the shows journey. What starts off as an idea that one bring it gradually become a show that I oddly come back too time to time how everyone’s opinion. I won’t lied I won’t say I agree on capsirus take on season 10 or that one British man that I forget can’t remember l, or of course debunkers that some I feel still have that tendency of feeling of high and mighty vibe at least to me. ( cough cough Omni man vs Bardock cough ) Though watching this retrospective this has make this from beginning to end feels quite like death battle through, A journey. That “time” can make your relevance of the viewers eye to them. BillCipherVSDiscord isn’t one of the best but my favorite due to how it reflects to me of my time of journey that as long as “spark” can “sought” their own redemption to see the public perception of this little weird show some people of like me. It about to stand up that test of “time” of their odd that they make effort worth of showing. That’s ironic to say one it’s most controversial episode as what is death battle: a fun little weird show that some will have be judge. Also I thinks Fanta and Crush are the same don’t @ me! And bragging righhhhhhhhttttttsss!!!!!!!!
I’ve followed the series since Goomba vs Koopa and it’s been a wild ride, I saw the peaks of the series and definitely seen the lowest points of the series and I stuck through it all. It’s a series that got me into so many other series like how Jackfro Samurai got me to check out Afro Samurai or how I went into Gutsmitri not knowing Dimitri and only having a surface level knowledge of Guts and coming out loving the battle and both characters.
1:05:25 fun fact: that cameo of Bad Mr. Frosty is using a model from a canceled fanmade Clayfighters revival, which got DMCA’d by interplay. It sucks that it was canned but at least it got some use as a great cameo.
I ended up seeing this later than I wanted due to a power outage in my neighborhood, but I just wanted to say that I enjoyed this video. I love Death Battle, and I cannot wait to see what's next. Also, glad to see my joke made it in 😂. 2:27:16 . Thanks Jonathan.
Frieza vs Megatron was the first episode I watched On a Live Stream which was about one of my friend's Fortnite Theory's. Yeah... I only Became a Death Battle fan because my Scruckly Time Lord
I know this is going to sound weird very weird but every time I see death battle I feel like Superman because even though sometimes it makes mistakes I feel like Superman when he sees the world makes mistakes but still loves it regardless just the way it is and that’s how I see death battle like a world and I love it just the way it is. and I’m so sorry for commenting so much and I know you’re trying to sleep so forgive me
I think they could’ve slightly changed the order during the cardboard exchange in GvS ngl. Clark reminding himself that needs to hold back, but then Goku assures him that they can both truly go all out, then Clark getting excited that he can truly show just how powerful he can be. I still like that scene in general, but I think it could use a slight rewrite imo. Edit: Oh, I unpaused and you did the same thing. Uhhhhhhhhh great minds think alike methinks?
After some vigorous research, I was able to determine your top 10 favorite and least favorite episodes of each season. Least favorites ranked: 10: Phoenix vs Raven, season 10. 9: Deku vs Asta, season 9. 8: Aang vs Edward, season 6. 7: Jotaro vs Kenshiro, season 5. 6: Venom vs Crona, season 7. 5: Metal Sonic vs Zero, season 4. 4: Blake vs Mikasa, season 8. 3: Mewtwo vs Shadow, season 3. 2: Ragna vs Sol, season 2. 1: The mistake, season 1. Favorites ranked: 10: Goku vs Superman, season 1. 9: Cable vs Booster Gold, season 7. 8: Iron Man vs Lex Luthor, season 2. 7: DIO vs Alucard, season 8. 6: Johnny Cage vs Captain Falcon, season 6. 5: Dante vs Bayonetta, season 3. 4: Balrog vs TJ Combo, season 4. 3: Sauron vs Lich King, season 9. 2: Samurai Jack vs Afro Samurai, season 5. 1: Guts vs Dimitri, season 10.
I mean, my dad got into infamous a bit but I really knew next to nothing about prototype, and I definitely had an "oh, THAT'S where that meme comes from." moment when they quoted the fucking weird, fucking rambling shit line. That was a huge meme back in the day and I never knew what the reference was until Alex vs Cole. So I'd say that reference is the one big case that does things more like dragonborn's analysis as far as that comparison goes.
So we are in the final episode. Never thought we would be here but here we are. Now when it comes to the last remaining episodes, Discord vs Bill Cypher is honestly my favorite of this season. I did already said my overall thoughts in the last video but all I will say how I love the fight, the analysis, the theming, and how the beginning leads up to the ending, Love this episode. Alex vs Cole is pretty much a long time coming (which I can say the same for another episode coming later but I will save that for later). Now I will admit that I never played both games but I always thoughts the Mu was cool and probably the best for both characters. Now when it comes to the episode itself, it was really interesting and fitting that they would frame it as if it was made in the 2010s which seems like a very decisive decision but I think it was an alright idea, not ever joke lands but I feel like people who are saying the episode was “insulting” are just stretching. The fight itself? OOOOH BOY! It was dope! Especially the music track that plays along with the fight and how it relates to both characters’s perspectives. Overall, an amazing episode and really lived up to the hype. Megatron vs Frieza was… a fight. I mean it is a good episode, never was a fan of the MU but usually some MUs that don’t really appeal to me can sometimes have really amazing episodes (though personally, if they really wanted to do Frieza-Tron, I kind of wished they used the Transformers Cybertron/Galaxy Force version of Megatron since that version of Megs/Galvatron is honestly more like Frieza then the other versions but that is neither here or there). This episode was just pretty good but nothing really too mind blowing to talk about. When it comes to Gojo vs Makima, even though I never saw/read both series, I always thought Gojo was a pretty interesting character but I will admit that that his analysis was very surface level. I know they probably don’t want to spoil things but I don’t think they did Gojo Justice. Makima’s analysis is actually pretty solid. I wished Gojo’s analysis was as good honestly with the world building and how they talk about Makima’s abilities, personality and goals, even if she is, well… you know. As for the fight, the animation is stunning and I like this whole “touch of death” idea where not much hits are given but once that “touch” happens, it is BIG with an amazing ending. And now that you mentioned it, the direction on Makima’s laugh was actually pretty weird if not really funny. Also, and just because I am a Jojo fan, I can’t stop thinking about D4C when I think about one of Makima’s abilities (you know the one). Overall, I also think this is a really good episode. Courage vs Scooby Doo. Now I love Courage the Cowardly Dog. I was a big Cartoon Network kid so this was really cool and surprising to see. And also, you’d be surprised how many people were actually scared/traumatized by Courage the Cowardly Dog. XD As for Scooby Doo, I mostly grew up with the movies like Zombie Island and the Cyber Chase with Spindly Johnny and yes, even the 2 live action movies which I think are kind of fun looking back but I digress. What about the episode? I think it was tons of fun. The analysis is fun, and the animation is FANTASTIC! Yea, I also think Courage trying to shoot Scooby in that one scene was really out of character but that is really the only grip I have. I love the many different call backs they do on both series and even to other series which, yea, those Asura’s Wrath and OPM references was indeed was amazing! And now we get to the ending. Perfect. That’s all I got to say. Just perfect. They found a very natural way to make the fight a tie and also have it be satisfying at the same time. And I also have to mention the music, Forever Terror Night. Yea, you are right that it is pretty much legally distinct Terror Time but I think Terror Time is such a kickass song and it makes sense with the MU so I am ok with it too. Overall, really amazing episode. And it looks like after Courage vs Scooby, we have yet another amazing animated DB with Rick vs The Doctor. I will admit that I know more about Rick and Morty than I do Doctor Who but I know how culturally impactful Doctor Who is. I won’t say much about this episode since I think you perfectly summarized how I also feel about the episode but I think this is an overall AMAZING episode as well. I will admit that I do prefer Courage vs Scoob when it comes to animated episodes, that is still a really good ranking. I will admit that when Goku vs Superman III was announced, I was… disappointed. I will admit that I never really that big on the MU in the first place but just respected it for the legacy status it has but I do agree that if it wasn’t for that legacy status, I do think the MU probably wouldn’t be that loved it talked about but I will admit that my main reason on why I was disappointed was because I guess I didn’t want another Goku vs Superman episode, especially after the trainwreck that was Goku vs Superman II. However, once the episode came out, I was actually pleasantly surprised. It was actually really good. Superb even. Do I think it’s better than the original? Well, I feel like I flip flop with that question depending on how I feel but I think this episode is amazing. And yes, I too am sick of Superman being done dirty for years. I honestly thought I would have a lot to say, especially with the ending part of the episode but I feel it kind of speaks for itself. It also kind of resonated with me. Overall, a very pleasant surprise. And this next one is weird for me. Unicron vs Galactus was my most wanted MU of all time that isn’t Meta Knight vs Zero. Now I can somewhat understand why it took them years to even get to this MU since… well, calling this MU very ambitious is an understatement. It is pretty big, figuratively and literally. So with all that being said, how do I feel about this episode? Well… for the longest times, I didn’t really know how I feel about this episode but now, like you said about Gojo vs Makima, enough time has passed. I think I came into really liking this episode. Not my favorite, even in this season, but I really appreciate the work done in this episode. I think Galactus’s analysis was solid if not a bit heavy handed with the jokes. Unicron’s analyze in the other hand is GOD LIKE! Unicron is my favorite Transformers villain for what he is and represents and I feel like they did him Justice. Now the fight itself, while again, not my favorite of the season, is still very solid. Do I have problems? Yea. I think some of the Dialogue was kind of awkward and I think the ending was kind of flaccid with the double fake out but overall, I do think this did lived up to the hype as it is pleasing to the eyes and really utilized the characters in a respectful way. And… that’s all. That is all the episodes of Death Battle… oh hey, there’s a new episode with the return of Death Battle. Ok, I will be brief with this one but I am glad to see Death Battle return. So how do I feel about Bardock vs Omni-Man? It was a solid opener. Not my favorite opener but overall a solid one. Maybe overtime I will have a more full thoughts of this fight since this episode just came out but now, I think it was pretty good. I will admit, I first discovered your channel because of your Edgy Characters video and thought it was REALLY good and also saw you did an analysis on Baiken’s themes (thinking about it, not sure which one I saw first but regardless, I stuck around because I legit think your stuff it really good) and once I saw you covering Death Battle, it was a pleasant surprise. I will admit that your channel is probably the one I watch the most consistently when it comes to Death Battle content but that mostly due to the fact that I think your presentation is really fun to watch and it really feels like we were seeing you grow like a creator though out this journey. Also, god bless Monty Oum, may he rest in peace. Death Battle or not, I can't wait to see what you have in store in the future.
i want to say this right here and now, no matter what goku vs superman is death battles magnum opus. while i want to say that other episodes like bill vs discord are better overall episodes, goku vs superman is death battle done right with easily one of the best analysis for both characters, one of the best tracks within the show and easily the best ending to any fight. Goku vs superman, is the perfect death battle episode.
As I said and saw on your Guts vs Dimitri video, nice video btw, they're going to do Gru vs Megamind, along with some bangers, Kratos v Asura, Bowser v Eggman (hyped about that one) a rematch battle (forgot), and a few others
Ant Man vs Atom: Came out after I graduated from my 4 year college with my bachelor’s degree. Chosen Undead vs Dragonborn: Came out during my cousin’s wedding in my hometown of Ohio. MY BOI Darth Vader vs Obito: It was my fourth most wanted and now it has happened, and I like the episode. Guts vs Dimitri: Came out during my first day of work. Frieza vs Megatron: My favorite Deception fights the BLITHERING PONCE, known as Frieza, my favorite Dragon Ball villain. MY BOI SCOOBY VS COURAGE: Scooby was a cartoon I watched during my childhood growing up in Ohio. And seeing him fight Courage and having it a draw was epic. This is my favorite Death Battle in the show. And having it as number 8 in your series ranking was an honor. MY BOI GOKU VS SUPERMAN 2023: This is the true definitive end to the rivalry of my favorite Dragon Ball character, Goku and the first superhero, Superman. Galactus vs Unicron: The cosmic fight is a blueprint for my most wanted, Kyle vs Simon, which is confirmed because of the Kickstarter.
23:13 I think the only reason this matchup happened was because they wanted to hint at the finale. By having both the herald of Galactus and the servant of Unicron in the season. Their connection for this episode was most likely “Tyrant that is beaten everytime they fight the heroes, but eventually has to team up with them to save the Universe”
Hey Jonathan. Season 10 is the best and my favorite Death Battle Season ever. Half of the season’s episodes have my favorite characters or happened during an important part of my life in 2023.
2:21:49 Look ma' I'm in a Jonathan Frostathan video! Jokes and bragging rights aside, congratulations on this nearly two year project, I may have joined during the halfway point, but these videos were some of the best civil discussion and fun commentary for possibly my favorite show of all time! I'm definitely excited to see what you have moving forward, and to see what Ben and Chad have cooking. As the Doctor says, "Don't be a cynic."
My exact reaction to goku vs super round 3 was “aaaahh shit this is where the streak ends” as I feared it was about to disrespect and mischaracterize Superman again but it was one of the most funnest episode of the show in my opinion and shown how they have grown Still get a few sprite episode every now and then (asta vs deku yes I’m still pissed at how bad asta characterization is)
Oh, and by the way, my final bragging rights...for this series of reviews. Let us see how many more bragging rights each one of us and you will collect with the future surprises you have.
Did you just said no fasing Superman face through Goku when Goku tried to punch him, and then Superman punched him when he made him showed him goku black vs ultraman
Every previous entry and an HM appearance in the Bill Cypher vs Discord review? Let's see them bragging rights people!! So good to see this! After finishing: fully watched the premier and I've been civil in the recent community post. My bragging rights only continue to amass. Thank you for this incredible ride, Jonathan Frostnathan. It's been an honor and a true delight once I first discovered you with the Season Seven ranking. Thank you yet again for including me in the HMs of the Bill Cypher and Discord review, and may no moss slow any of us down.
At the end of Superman vs goku they weren’t in the afterlife I think they were in what remained of the destroyed universe and maybe the reason goku was there too even though he died was because maybe the afterlife got destroyed also Superman’s phasing was used in the fight when they are in space
Ok I already said this in the live chat but I'm going to say it here for anybody who will see this later The issue with unicron's characterization isn't that it doesn't talk it's that when it talks it speaks in such a way that makes it sound as if it's just saying facts and if it's fighting something I considered an equal it doesn't talk at all either would be fine but the way he talks feels more like gloating than it does simply saying that Unicron is all powerful and never dying It's not like episode of ruining but they did mischaracterize Unicron a little bit not as bad as they could have but still
I'm just gonna watch the bill vs discord part and watch the rest of my *7 HOUR MARIO LEVEL RANKING*( yes this is what I do with my life) really excited to see the rick vs doctor analysis, hopefully you don't judge it unfairly or something idk
Here’s the thing, probably controversial. The fight in Bill vs Discord. I don’t think it’s as good as everyone says, but that’s because my taste in fights are usually more grounded with a few exceptions (Madara vs Aizen) It’s still great, though. Don’t hurt me
About universal Billy & Mandy, in one episode, Mandy was supposed to smile for a school play. When she did, her smile proceeded to destroy the universe where by the end, Billy, Mandy and Grim survived and I assume landed jn a new universe where they were the Power Puff Girls.
Yeah using Transformers in VS is like the Ninja Turtles, ya either use one version or you composite everything. Transformers cosmology is weird, but the point is canonically you can't use the cartoon timeline and also use the IDW stuff.
@@thedrunkgiraffe8312 On the one hand, true, on the other hand, I feel there are enough aesthetic differences between some of the Japanese TF media and the rest of G1 for them to be excludee from compositing. In my opinion, the best G1 composite is G1 cartoon + G1 Japanese anime + G1 Marvel US comics + G1 Marvel UK comics.
@@vaggos2003 the billcord conclusion felt kinda nitpicky for example saying they didn’t explain why tirec is manipulative (like they don’t have that much time, or when he says them sayings it’s close makes no sense since bill is more powerful despite it being close because of their similar abilities), I’ve gotten tired of the galacticron dialogue thing being focused on so heavily cause outside of the final unicron line it’s all solid, the strawmanning of Alex vs cole fans who were disappointed, etc I know it wasn’t his intention to strawman but a lot of people don’t feel as “insulted” as he makes it out to be
Maybe it's just me but I thought the "world made out of cardboard" line here wasn't Clark's own sadness of knowing he has to hold back his power but a bit of slight annoyance that due to said power clashing they're going to have to revive everyone else (and honestly even more then the Dragon Ball Universe, the DC universe should be used to the idea of reviving a lot of it's inhabitants after they keep dying) but also quick acceptance seeing Goku wants to do that to thus why he's giving him this full on battle. Like it's not a bitterness said more in frustration like in JLU but an acceptance and readiness to go for it for the sake of this challenge against someone without malicious intent.
1:05:22 I’m not claiming to be an expert, but Mandy smiling destroyed the universe. No further context. The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy is a fantastic show. “YOU FOOLS!!! YOU UPSET THE NATURAL ORDER!!!!!”
45:38 Don't know who the guy on the right is (He looks interesting so I might check out what he's from) But I automatically advocate for any RWBY match up that doesn't feature the main 4 characters seeing as I find most of them more interesting in terms of personality and power sets, more diverse with their match ups, and honestly the main 4 are just kinda stale nowadays. Like I feel like I would pop off more for a match up like Mercury vs Von Lycaon or Qrow vs Gordeau from Under Night In Birth than I would for any of the 3 girls who have been on the show returning,
*HEY*
In case you haven't seen the community post, I'm not gonna make any more Death Battle reviews until 2026, where I'll come back once a year to review each Death Battle episode. I do have a couple Death Battle related videos cooking, but those will be later. Anyways, gotta compile these 12 or so videos into one giant video. BYE!

In the cartoon, the literal concept of mandy smiling caused the entire fabric of reality to just F*@king collapse, so yeah there are some uni/multi stuff there.
Great video man!
Just wanted to mention a few things about Scooby Courage!:
While the action might be recycled the animation is def not!
Buddy, you do 110% of the work you need to do for each episode and that is one of the most respectable things about you.
Tldr, keep being awesome.
Thank you for standing up for Cole vs Alex. Infamous was the game I grew up on the ps3 and this was the first DB I got to vote for and I watched this on my first week back to work. It's easily my favorite DB of all time. I love it so much that I have the full episode saved on my phone.
An "Extended Cut" version of this video series combining all the videos into one big one would be hilarious lol.
53:13 Honestly Courage is one of the few shows I just give a full on “fair enough” when hearing it be forbidden in households
Like, yeah that’s valid 😅
I really am going to miss these Death Battle videos, Jon. I actually used your Guts Vs. Dimitri video to get my Dad into Death Battle.
WOW, okay, that's epic!
@JonathanFrostathan oh while I've got you here, I thought I should mention his most wanted matchup is... Conan the Barbarian vs. The Hulk, he's really proud of the matchup idea, so I just let him have it.
I feel like Friezatron is forever gonna be known as the "YOU BLITHERING PONCE" episode after this video
Let's make it so!!
“What movie shall we watch today?”
My pick:
After so long, Mr. Frostathan's bizarre Death Battle adventure has ended. At least for now.
I remember stumbling on the Season 1 Ranking looking for DB videos to watch, and I'm glad I stuck around to see every part of it.
Whatever you make next, I'll be sure to watch it.
The reason why Beast Wars wasn't added in the analysis of Frieza vs Megatron is because that version of Megatron is completely different from the one we know and love.
Exactly!
Beast Wars Megatron is canonically a different character.
He is a descendant of the original Megatron.
for the billy and mandy uni feat the only one i rember is mandy smiling destroying the universe and reality as we know it
Megatron still scales to Beast Wars in stats?
@@DoctorHippo Technically, since G1 characters are canonically multiple times bigger than Beast Wars characters, they scale and surpass them in anything, tho I don't remember if there is anything in Beast Wars that comes close to stuff shown in G1.
As a transformers fan, I can say that the reason that megatron vs frieza is enjoyable is because it makes sense.
What a Finale!
While I can’t say I have agreed with most of your opinions, I have still really enjoyed watching this retrospective and can also certainly say you are one of the main members of community who has inspired me to create my own ranking series later down the road. Thank You for an incredible retrospective series
Edit: 2:21:47 Also Ay, I can now finally say I have Bragging Rights in the comments.
Awesome seeing based creators come together.
Also, looking forward to your ranking.
Ur a W.
@@JonathanFrostathan Indeed he is.
39:16 Honestly glad your brought up Classic Man D as despite liking his stuff, his Death Battle takes are hypocritical as all hell.
Indeed.
Agreed, I even commented on his Courage vs. Scooby short "tate classicmand L"
I usually respect his opinion but not on db
@@Squifflifting He does have good takes, but he also has terrible takes.
Maybe the real Death Battles were the jars of sugar we coated along the way
I think you perfectly highlighted why i loved Cole vs Alex perfectly.
Inhuman is an amazing track that I can listen to on loop.
I’ve even played it in the background of other fight animations and it still works great.
1:48:41 There was phasing for a few seconds before Super man lets his second full power punch. goku tries to hit him, but super man phases through it
A small thing I love about Doctor vs Rick is the soundtrack has a reference to a song a Band made about the doctor around the time the 10th doctor was gonna regenerate too the 11th.
One more ranking, for all times sake
Also, how did you give this the exact same score I gave Blake VS Mikasa, what the SLAG-
For me, the highlighted episodes in this video are:
Bill cipher vs discord, peak is peak, i can't say anything that wasn't said before , this is the best showing of a battle between two reality warpers , and ofcourse the track is amazing
Cole vs alex i knew nothing about these games, but episode made want to play them (One day) the fight was phenomenal and the track is easily one of the best
Gojo vs makima, i was obsessed with csm back then and now i am obsessed with jjk, the fight was a little bit underwhelming since i expected more grand scale destruction from gojo more of makima's big devils but it was ok, the debate itself was fascinating, the fight is super close because of how you interpret their abilities interacting but the fascinating thing is the general consensus among the power scaling community was that gojo win, but after the episode it flipped into makima straight up soloing the verse, and the problem was that they making a lot of good points that makes the episode comes out like they heavily misinterpreted makima's abilities and the prime minister contract, regardless, it was a great episode
Rick vs the doctor, oh boy this was my most awaited matchup, i am a Rick and Morty fan and a huge doctor who nerd that knows an ungodly amount of doctor who lore, i predicted that this episode would be after corage vs scooby and my brain flipped when the trailer came out, it was like a sleeping agent awakened and my sole purpose was to make everyone know how broken and op the doctor is, the fight itself was good, i was disappointed that it was grounded and wasn't some cosmic breaking stuff, but it's how the doctor would realistically fight, and i adore how they made big use of both of their intelligence and making the doctor wining by outsmarting Rick with a clever plan, like if it was a doctor who episode written by steven Moffat, and of course the track is fucking amazing, the perfect match of multiple orchestrated doctor who iconic soundtracks matched with sci fi music from Rick and Morty, it was perfect
I think why the doctor won is also thematical in a way
Rick as always runawayed from his issues pretending that they never existed to begin with as a result he has become bitter and angry to the point that he never takes any threat seriously just crude joke and some achohole
The Doctor on the otherhand while they has suffered a lot never forgets the faces they had once had over the years they will will always keep moving on even if the past is painful by saving the universe many times
So what happens when you put a man whos always run away against a alien who will always face their demons well only one of them will truly move on from the past live in the present and strive for a better future
Hey Jonathan. This final part has EVERYTHING! Thank you for 15 videos of Death Battle Retrospectives.
Popeye) the loser wouldn't have TF powers, where others (Like DeadMask) *would* have them, but I can't think of a time when the *loser* had TF when the winner *didn't.*
With this one, they needed to make sure they covered *everything* they could conceivably do, so there wouldn't be a case of "Um actually, xyz character is outerversal because of a one-off gag feat from an episode aired in 2016" in order to prove that, yes, this would in fact result in a tie, even if one were to take literal THE most off-the-wall usage of Toonforce this side of Popeye.
As another person who was in marching band in highschool, my drumline was obsessed with everything Nintendo.
This was a great premiere to be along the ride for. You cooked Jon.
While the reviews are over (for now) i await whatever you make in the future. Thanks for being an inspiration!
Actually, Superman does phase through attacks in space, before he punches Goku a second time and brings up the Goku Black fighting Ultraman dimension.
It's time to break everything except our spirits with this one!
1:05:25 fun fact: that cameo of Bad Mr. Frosty is using a model from a canceled fanmade Clayfighters revival, which got DMCA’d by interplay. It sucks that it was canned but at least it got some use as a great cameo.
The Chaos Theater? Now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time
I ended up seeing this later than I wanted due to a power outage in my neighborhood, but I just wanted to say that I enjoyed this video. I love Death Battle, and I cannot wait to see what's next. Also, glad to see my joke made it in 😂. 2:27:16 . Thanks Jonathan.
Finished the video and...🥲...so good.
Well done, Jonathan. To the next time.
May the next Battles be great.
Take care.
Frieza vs Megatron was the first episode I watched
On a Live Stream which was about one of my friend's Fortnite Theory's.
Just came across this channel. You should do an end of season review and I'd watch that
Well, I hope you enjoy the rest of Johnny's content, it's pretty good.
2:08:50 hey [INSERT GOLDEN FREDDY FNAF LINE HERE] again

Ratchet and Clank vs Jak and Daxter got 22nd wow I was not expecting it that high, and so close to some of the greats.
i want to say this right here and now, no matter what goku vs superman is death battles magnum opus. while i want to say that other episodes like bill vs discord are better overall episodes, goku vs superman is death battle done right with easily one of the best analysis for both characters, one of the best tracks within the show and easily the best ending to any fight.
I think the puppet thing also referenced a gravity falls episode about puppets that had bill in it
Ant Man vs Atom: Came out after I graduated from my 4 year college with my bachelor’s degree.
Funny how many episodes from this season were associated with special dates for you. XD
Wanna call the Rick VS Doctor sweep right NOW!
I KNEW IT! I CALLED IT!
“Gojo’s analysis is worse than Cole’s.”
You have initiated a gang war
Hey Jonathan. Season 10 is the best and my favorite Death Battle Season ever. Half of the season’s episodes have my favorite characters or happened during an important part of my life in 2023.
Without you I’d have never gotten back into Death Battle
2:21:49 Look ma' I'm in a Jonathan Frostathan video! Jokes and bragging rights aside, congratulations on this nearly two year project, I may have joined during the halfway point, but these videos were some of the best civil discussion and fun commentary for possibly my favorite show of all time! I'm definitely excited to see what you have moving forward, and to see what Ben and Chad have cooking. As the Doctor says, "Don't be a cynic."
My exact reaction to goku vs super round 3 was “aaaahh shit this is where the streak ends” as I feared it was about to disrespect and mischaracterize Superman again but it was one of the most funnest episode of the show in my opinion and shown how they have grown
Still get a few sprite episode every now and then (asta vs deku yes I’m still pissed at how bad asta characterization is)
Oh, and by the way, my final bragging rights...for this series of reviews.
Let us see how many more bragging rights each one of us and you will collect with the future surprises you have.
Bill Cipher VS Discord, Cole VS Alex, Scooby-Doo VS Courage, Rick VS the Doctor, GVS 3, Galactus VS Unicron, there are the best in my book!
Eyy a movie tp watch while my fever symptoms go down!
I got shat on for saying Gojos analysis was meh and makimas was great.
SO THANK YOU
They hated you because you told them the truth. :))))
Now what's left is a reviewer to acknowledge that Scarlet Witch's treatment in her episode was godawful.@@JonathanFrostathan
Did you just said no fasing Superman face through Goku when Goku tried to punch him, and then Superman punched him when he made him showed him goku black vs ultraman
The Josuke scooby doo is cursed as fuck (jokes aside keep up the good and I have asburgers)
Season 10 was FIRE!
Ok I already said this in the live chat but I'm going to say it here for anybody who will see this later
The issue with unicron's characterization isn't that it doesn't talk it's that when it talks it speaks in such a way that makes it sound as if it's just saying facts and if it's fighting something I considered an equal it doesn't talk at all either would be fine but the way he talks feels more like gloating than it does simply saying that Unicron is all powerful and never dying
It's not like episode of ruining but they did mischaracterize Unicron a little bit not as bad as they could have but still
[inHuman] is perfection and I will not hear a word against it.
The Bill Cipher and Discord arc continues!? 😮
Fun, just fun, that's what this review is, fun
2:21:53 - HOLY SHOOT! I made a cameo!
I'm just gonna watch the bill vs discord part and watch the rest of my *7 HOUR MARIO LEVEL RANKING*( yes this is what I do with my life) really excited to see the rick vs doctor analysis, hopefully you don't judge it unfairly or something idk
Good luck with that ranking.
Any links for others to watch it too?

Here’s the thing, probably controversial.
The fight in Bill vs Discord. I don’t think it’s as good as everyone says, but that’s because my taste in fights are usually more grounded with a few exceptions (Madara vs Aizen)
It’s still great, though. Don’t hurt me
1:05:21 Yes, in their movie Mandy. Smiling destroyed the universe So billy and mandy are universal

About universal Billy & Mandy, in one episode, Mandy was supposed to smile for a school play.
When she did, her smile proceeded to destroy the universe where by the end, Billy, Mandy and Grim survived and I assume landed jn a new universe where they were the Power Puff Girls.
Are there any other feats like that in B&M?
@@JonathanFrostathan
Can't tell you, honestly. Been a long time since I watched the shows beyond the stray funny clips.
Yeah using Transformers in VS is like the Ninja Turtles, ya either use one version or you composite everything. Transformers cosmology is weird, but the point is canonically you can't use the cartoon timeline and also use the IDW stuff.
Eh, I wouldn't necessarily use the word "everything" here.
@@vaggos2003 Yeah ik. But for G1.
@@vaggos2003 I'd include IDW.
@@thedrunkgiraffe8312 Eh, too many differences with character and story conceots for me to do the same.
I really don’t agree with a lot of what you said but video was neat. Good job
Interesting.
Could you pinpoint some of the stuff you don't agree with?
@@vaggos2003 the billcord conclusion felt kinda nitpicky for example saying they didn’t explain why tirec is manipulative (like they don’t have that much time, or when he says them sayings it’s close makes no sense since bill is more powerful despite it being close because of their similar abilities), I’ve gotten tired of the galacticron dialogue thing being focused on so heavily cause outside of the final unicron line it’s all solid, the strawmanning of Alex vs cole fans who were disappointed, etc
I know it wasn’t his intention to strawman but a lot of people don’t feel as “insulted” as he makes it out to be
@@thatnerdwithglasses8384 Interesting.
Good ranking! I disagree with a lot of your opinions (especially Gojokima lol) but overall, good ranking, and it was fun to listen to.
2:21:43 I FINALLY GET BRAGGING RIGHTS
53:17 we did

I’m not claiming to be an expert, but Mandy smiling destroyed the universe. No further context. The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy is a fantastic show.

I do worry with Rick VS The Doctor that they'll lowball The Master when we get Kang VS The Master.

Its death battles linkin park song...i love it!
Never thought about it that way, but I can see that.
2:21:52 Look Gary, there I am!!!
Ngl, based as fuck for that rick sanchez vs the doctor rating.
