you probably dont care but if you guys are stoned like me atm you can watch all of the latest movies on instaflixxer. Have been watching with my gf these days xD
I absolutely love how clear and concise all these videos are. No fluff or backstory necessary, just right to it with no distractions. Simple and easy to follow.
OMG😲! I know this tutorial is 3 years old, but I'm so glad that I found it ☺️! You make learning to crochet so easy and fun!! Getting my yarns and hooks together 🧶🪡✂️😀!!
I absolutely LOVE how you don't waste our time showing us how to do a stitch OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. I love these baskets. I'll be using them to store crochet round disks for children games. Thank you so much for your terrific tutorial
Donna! Girl.......You are so good! I just love, love, love, HOW you make it so SIMPLE for us to learn and follow your instructions whenever you come up with a NEW project! And I just wanted once again to thank you! I pray that God continues to bless and KEEP you and your entire family for such a time as this! Your projects are so therapeutic! Yes, indeed another good one!
I have to say I really enjoy watching your videos. You don't waste a lot of time chit chatting about trivial things and usually have shorter videos. I watched your video showing a certain stitch, yours was about 5 1/2 minutes long and another person's video showing the same stitch was almost 30 minutes long.
I'm making the medium one - I'm up to the sides. Almost done. Love this! Best easy basket tutorial I've seen. I love how you get right into it without all the chit chat B4 hand. Thanks 🧶
@@Shareeeef Hi, I didn't increase after round 7 bc I made the medium size basket, which is only 7 Rnds for the base. Then you just follow Donna's video as she shows you how to go up the sides.
Perfect tutorial easy to follow! thank you. I combined 1 strand of worsted weight with a jute for a stiffer basket, I did have to go up a size in the hook. Thanks again, love your patterns.
Thank you for this video and the pattern on your website. Very well explained. I just finished my small basket and might make the medium and large sizes as well
Well explained plus the writing you make it easy for me follow. I just finished the small size will continue doing other sizes. Thank you for sharing. Finished all tree sizes. I am very happy with the result. TQ
Hi Donna. Thank you so much for this tutorial. My basket is absolutely gorgeous and I put a handle on it to use as an Easter basket. I am so happy with the outcome and your easy to follow instructions make this project stress free.
You have the best patterns and the way you teach is so awesome. I gave my little granddaughter your link since she is trying to start crocheting and you are the best to teach her since I live so far away. Thank you!!!!
This is great! I've watched this many times and have made 2 baskets already! My favorite simple project! I even added a handle to my second one. Thank you for the knowledge!
You are my forever teacher always learn new things with you. Loved this tutorial. Still confused how to add to the bigger basket but other than love everything else.
I never thought of combining worsted weight medium yarn to bulk it for a basket. I may try this... My yarn skeins need storage solutions haha. Thank you ❤
These are really nice for bathroom baskets! Have you ever thought of demonstrating how to make small dog sweaters? I have a Chihuahua I’d love to learn how to make sweaters for her.
Thank you! It’s my first time watching one of your tutorials and love how you make it easy to follow along. Definitely subscribing and can’t wait to see more tutorials. Thanks again!
Her pinned comment has a link to the pattern, but it doesn't have a stitch count, but I believe it's going in multiples of ten, increasing ten sts per round.
hi Donna! for round three are you suppose to have 29 stitches altogether? and round four 41 stitches altogether? and then for round five 42 stitches thankss
It would produce a lovely marled effect. (You can just Google Image search Marled Yarn to see examples). If you use contrasting colors, the effect will be bright and bold (like a hot pink and a white). Or if you use similar colors but different shades (light gray + medium gray) the effect will be more subtle.
Hi Donna. Just stumbled across this video on making crochet baskets and FELL IN LOVE with your project. These are going to be PERFECT to make for my scrapbooking gal-friends for an upcoming retreat. Any possibility you have a pattern for an X-Small basket? Would appreciate any help you might be able to provide me for that pattern. AGAIN.....THANK YOU taking the time to share this video with us. Kadie
Wonderful! The only difference between baskets is the circle part on the bottom. Each subsequent round increases the diameter of the base, so to make a smaller basket, you can either 1) use one strand of yarn with a smaller hook. that will force the whole project to become smaller in size. 2) use the 2 strands of yarn, but only do 2 or 3 rounds of the base or 3) use one strand of yarn with a smaller hook and just do the 2 or 3 rounds of the base.
@@naztazia THANK YOU so much for taking the time to reply back to me. I totally get it and appreciate you helping me revise this pattern. PS.....LOVE your channel.
