Is this available yet? I saw NVconnect make this or maybe it's the same product. It was made in Korea with no English language option to order on the website. Why doesn't this product use the mic installed the car instead of running an external one?
Almost about to launch. We cannot speak for NVconnect products. The interface currently does not support factory mic unfortunately.
Will this work on a Canadian Tundra 2016? It is the same premium audio unit but Entune 2.5 is disabled in Canada.

You can. You just won’t hear the turn by turn directions on your map app

Does this mic replace the factory mic or is it just for CarPlay? If not, can you use the factory mic location (perhaps removing the mic piece from your mic and custom-fitting it to the factory mic housing) in order to keep a cleaner/factory look?

So I bought a cheaper Apple CarPlay mod that is very similar to yours. I installed it and returned it the next day because the sound quality was awful. Does this mod cause any buzz or distortion to the overall sound? The video quality is not that big of a deal but the sound quality is very important to me. Also does the track up and down button work now with newer versions?

alan yu yes compatible with 2015 Tundra. Factory camera, volume steering wheel control and microphone will work. Track up/down steering wheel control will not work
Will your oem backup camera work and come on still while your phone is connected to Apple car play ?
Yes the oem backup camera will work evening while in carplay mode

Unfortunate this is only compatible with Toyota vehicles.
Can you watch movies from your phone to the screen while driving?

This is compatible with all trims Tundra 2014-2019
How is the screen resolution with this CarPlay on a 2018 Tundra compared to the new 2020 Tundra with factory CarPlay?
Screen resolution is more clear and sharp on the new 2020 Tundra. It’s hard to describe the sharpness since everyone’s standards are a bit different. It’s sharp enough to use but not HD quality.
Beat-Sonic I’ve heard the screen looks “washed out”, can you confirm? Also, would this be able to run the new screen arrangement for Apple CarPlay from IOS 13?
Kishan Agravat yes it does look washed out compared to the new tundra radio. Think of a blue ray quality vs DVD player. The new tundra is like a blue ray vs ours is like a dvd

Pretty much same price as Phoenix automotive inc 12 inch screen Tesla style radio replacement. Why should I get this over that one besides keeping factory look
I got my 12 inch for $600 with the car play dongle, it’s muchhhhh better than this for the price, and the headunit makes the stock speakers sound amazing if u have the jbl sound system
