- It's Fast Food Friday and today l take you to do a review on the new Red Rooster chicken Pie. FYI Red Rooster is a popular roast chicken joint here in Australia.
Remember to like the video and subscribe, l will try to do Food reviews every Friday of the latest fast food that comes out in Australia, and show you a little bit of my home town along the way. Normal cooking videos are Sunday and Tuesday (Saturday and Monday night north western hemisphere)

Beautiful scenery to nosh on lunch. We call meat pies - pot pies - here in the USA. And we eat them with forks. I think next time I'll eat it by hand and watch the looks from others then say "G'day."
pie and mash! a British classic also. my favorites are mince beef and onion. or beef and mushroom. proper buttery mash or real chips, gravy and bread and butter.
it's interesting that you already have Friday...as I write this, it's 10:06 pm Thursday for me...loved the video, Greg!

Haven't tried Red Rooster yet. I gotta be honest Greg, I could eat cheap bologna on stale bread sandwich on that beach and give it at least a 7/10. Love the reviews and the sightseeing.

Really good review Greg and damn I wish I was that close to the beach. Though the beach is like 2 hours away, but still. You should recreate this in your kitchen! I bet your's would be better! Remaking what you rate. Cool idea. TFS & have a great weekend! :D

Did the rounds working @ the fast food joints as a teen. Rooters is by far the best!! Clean and as fresh as I ever saw in comparison. Good one, catch ya next week

Greg the pie looks pretty decent in size. We don't usually buy from red roster so I didn't know they even had this. Don't know about the peas on top 😳 there's one hunk of chicken only? Lol bit skungy on that. Thanks for the review

@2:12 Eeeeh! Haha. I think that white stuff might be the chicken broth thickened with flour or something. It certainly looks goopy. You give everything 7/10 :D I think that is your lucky number! In America, we have a place called Red Lobster, but it is pretty pointless if you live on the coast, especially New England (North East USA) where there is a ton of fresh seafood. Anyway, love these travels you go on, really elevates the channel in a fun yway and we get to see AU !!!

Greg, you need to find a top spot in Brisbane or the GC where you're from and tuck into a HSP. Can't beat a mixture of Crispy chips, succulent lamb, and the marriage of garlic,bbq and chilli sauce.
That looks and snds alot like our chicken pot pies here. Pretty yummy, depending on how and who makes them. Homemade is the best. Great video. Would love to live near that beach, lol. Tyfs. God bless you

The guy that served you was great! Very enthusiastic and friendly. I was neither if I ever had to work drive thru back in my Hungry Jacks days :P Customer service is not for me.

Pies haven't really caught on in the states. I love savory hand pies and shepherd pies. I have to make them at home. I am envious Greg! 😊 I want to get pies in the drive through! I bet they're even better on the beach!

You are the greatest... taking the time and effort (...and money) to give the rest of the world a glimpse of Australia. These fast food videos are really cool. Do you have the capability to eat on beaches anytime you want? ... and is the Great Barrier Reef out there on the horizon?

yo Grego, my mom made something very simple, but very good. cut french bread. each slice gets a toppkng of grated cheese, and ham and onions cut to 0,5cmx0,5cm. put it in the oven untill the cheese is running off the bread. you have to try it mate
