I just started working in cardiology as a NP 8 month ago and I absolutely love it. Luckily I work in outpatient and the hours are stable. It must be hard to be on call and be constantly sleep deprived.
I’m good. Undergrad, 4 years med school, 3 years internal medicine residency, and 3 year cards fellowship is enough training for me. Plus you really have to love the subspecialty and although I appreciate advanced heart failure, electrophisiology, interventional cardiology..I couldn’t see myself doing just one subspecialty every single day
Ohhhh my this makes my mind swim
You are a gift to humanity- Thank you 😊
God, I love cardiology. this video pumped me up.
How far do you have to drive?
Thanks for all you do, and for sharing it. I'm a burned out healthcare worker; it's refreshing to see someone who cares.
During fellowship training I loved within 15 minutes of the hospital so not too far. Thanks for your kind words!
@@MarcKatzMD See what I'm saying? You loved; not you lived. 😍🤣 Such a big....heart. But not pathologically. 😅

Yeah buddy
wait, the pagers still work all the way at your house??!! like you can go home with ur pager?
Yes. Pagers are what people used before cell phones
Do you plan to sub specialize doc?
Nope. I’m happy with noninvasive general cardiology
@@MarcKatzMD but you showed us angiography of before and after
@@abdoalraimi4424 because fellowship requires training in invasive cardiology even if you don’t perform it
@@MarcKatzMD out of curiosity, how come you train without performing it, is it similar to an observeship, excuse my ignorance
@@abdoalraimi4424 no. We do the procedure. It’s a fellowship. I don’t do it as an attending
