Hey, friends! Hope you enjoyed today's video about "Life Of A Cardiology Fellow [Day In The Life]". Take advantage of all my favorite med school tips and tricks in this free guide here! (themdjourney.com/med-school-success-handbook/)
The all-knowing algorithm brought me here. You seem to be both well-motivated and well-organized. These are among the qualities that will virtually guarantee a successful fellowship experience. I am pleased to think that, when you take the cardiology board examination, you may be answering some questions that I wrote. I wish you a long, happy and productive career in the greatest medical subspecialty.
@@TheMDJourney That is rough. Like you're still paying back loans and stuff, those payments make the little things sooo much more difficult. Are the hours at least better than residency?
Just subscribed your channel! I am a 16 years old girl and my goal is to be a cardiologist. I am gonna watch and listen to all of your videos and get advantages from all of them. Just hope me to achieve my goal. In future I will definitely come to you and thank for all of your lessons that you mentioned or going to mention!
you’re an inspiration! thanks for sharing this and for teaching us about the various procedures as you walk us through your day. I learn so much from your videos !
this is awesome. most day in the lives or even while shadowing is not as detailed and informational as your video. really enjoyed that you explained what procedure you were doing and how you did it. great stuff. thank you
Thanks Doc, thinking about going into Cardiology and then Interventional Cards, I used to be in surgery, but the lack of patient interaction and management was driving me crazy, switched to IM
Good for you boss man. I shirked any sort of call extending more than 12 hours to this day. Even night shift was 12 hours max. So glad I was never required to do 24 hour call
You are showing off 😆 I wish I had your energy 🔋 dedication and work ethic. I have kids, I work full time, and I own my practice, but I rarely find time to work out between my ten-month-old daughter screaming and crying. But you make it happen, and you're a doctor, and you study for exams and boards. I'm finishing my doctorate in clinical psychology, and I study 📚 medicine for fun. But I don't think I could do what you physicians do. Takes a lot of sacrifice. Well, done, sir!
I m currently a 17 yr old medical student and i love to know more and more knowledge about the profession i chose and more specifically the department of cardiology that i m gonna pursue later on in my life. I couldnt be more grateful tht yt recommended me ur channel. And i really appreciate u explaining all the terms and procedures taking place in the cardiology department. And i hope u the best 😺
Thanks for the content. It's really interesting and helpful. How do you manage to remain healthy with such an adverse sleep schedule, apart from the fact that your age is an advantage to you?
I'm an intern doctor right now and I feel very clueless watching these videos, I sometimes feel like my knowledge is very poor. I know I have a lot to learn but I want to know how was it when you were an intern? Did you feel overwhelmed this way with the amount of knowledge that you lack?
thanks for the great video, I'm definitely pursuing cardiology hopefully I get there, what are the normal days off and working hours as fellow ? PGY 4,5,6
Thank you for a great video! I am a medical student interested in cardiology, could you talk about the importance of research in applying to fellowship? Especially how us med-students can get involved in more research projects, thank you!!
nice video. come to the NHS. cardiology on call in 12 hours will be 10x volume demand you are describing in 24hrs. no ''learning' time unfortunately. you are very lucky.

This is an awesome comment. Hope the questions aren't too hard haha :)
@@TheMDJourney Out of curiosity, is fellowship pay better than residency pay?
@grant4360 not much different. About 2-3k more per year but depends on where you live/work

Sir, 2 reasons for diseases
1.Lack of physical work
2. Overweight
