Let me know if you have any questions! You could also use a lipo battery instead of a drill battery. Might be a little easier on the motors of the nerf

Still the basic build but a couple more chips to decide if needed or not and the switches need different locations along with the wiring. All in all this thing is beast. Thanks again my friend
@@theencefamily it really is. I don't know what battery you're using with yours, but I have the mikita ones. The 3.0ah and the 4.0ah. It's amazing the power difference between the two. I timed it and it will dump 100 rounds in 8.25 seconds. Can't think you enough for the share.
How long does the gun last after you do this though? Your running like double the voltage the motors were designed for. It’s cool AF but I would imagine the blaster’s longevity is severely reduced. This might be pretty sweet with those little 12v screw gun batteries though.
Tried to switch out just the battery on my Rival Nemesis to a 20volt dewalt but it only worked for a few seconds. I put the original back in and it still works. Any clue what I need to do to make the 20 volt work?
The stock gun has regulators that stop it from over powering the motors. If you want to mod it by only switching the battery, you can mod it to a 12 volt and it will work. It isn’t as powerful as 20 volt but it is still better.

Yes that will work. That is actually how the original gun was built. We cut an old drill apart and used the batter connector part.

If you don't replace the stock switches, they'll burn out pretty quickly. The motors seem to hold up pretty well though.

Check Amazon I think I have seen them there. Do a search for DeWalt battery and I think you will find it.

It will depend on what brand drill battery you have. Just search in amazon the brand you have and battery adapter and it will pull up.
