What I find so interesting about the Loona-Octavia friendship is that it's NOT actually reliant on anything their dads have going on. Like sure, Loona and Octavia meeting was an indirect result of their dads' relationship, but them actually bonding and hitting it off was entirely because of shared interests and a deep, mutual understanding and empathy to the problems the other is going through. Because there's clearly so much MORE to Loona's and Octavia's friendship than just 'Our dads are/will-be a thing'.
I mean to be fair from what I've seen of the sister thing is not really anything to do with they're fathers and more just the type of bond they seem to be developing.

Well they may be below imps, we don't know that for sure yet, but that's absolutely explicitly NOT why Blitz was able to adopt her. He was able to adopt her because she was a minor and didn't have parents. The agent explicitly says she's going to "age out" soon at 18 and thus not be up for adoption anymore. It's a pretty clear sign of how dehumanized they are by hell society that hellhound children who are wards of the state are essentially thrown in prison until they're adults, but we also haven't seen how imp child wards are treated to compare. It could be they aren't even taken in by the state at all, left to fend for themselves or otherwise die in the streets, and that Bee might have set up her shitty "adoption agency" system as a meager mercy to young hellhound orphans so at least HER demons would survive childhood being housed, fed, clothed, and seemingly given at least a basic education, and given a chance to find families (or employers) to build their own lives with. But it's also fully possible imp orphans are taken care of by normal orphanages, or there's a foster care system, or that imps have a social convention of imp families just taking in orphans, and that their situation is better. I'm not saying we know either way obviously, just that we haven't seen how imps would be treated comparatively.
@@Lanoira13Actually the statement that hounds are below Imps was directly stated by Viv in a stream sometime during early season 1 so we know that for certain, the difference may not be much but even Millie calls Loona "our hellhound" as if she's a pet. Next the agency isn't adopting them out as sons and daughters but as workers (which the hellhound lady basically said) which is in essence slave labor or indentured servitude (Blitz and Loona seem to be a exception to the norm or maybe genuine unlike others), even someone with connections like Tex is still called "Verosika's hound" despite him dating a Sin though likely he chooses who he actually works for. Even if other demons like Imps have no system what so ever it's hard to say that they're worse off than the hellhounds who live in prisons and are basically sold as children.
So, theory/headcanon time: Considering that we dont know exactly what "Aging out" of the program entails, but seems to be very much modeled on puppy mills or the bad kind of animal shelters, its a matter of debate whether that means if she turned 18 without finding a new family that Loona would be kicked out to the streets or even possibly euthanized. Just going off what we know in the show up to now, it feels like option 2, since that would go a very long ways to explaining her extreme response to needles
There's no indication she would've been euthanized. The agent says "aging out" which is a term from the foster system referring to no longer being a ward of the state because one is an adult, not because they're dead. Loona pretty much confirms this with her comment in 1x03 that she was almost 18 and an adult when she was adopted and didn't need Blitz to adopt her. If she didn't know she was gonna be euthanized, she wouldn't have a fear of needles because of it which voids the only evidence for that theory. The agent also says Loona "will" never amount to much, rather than "would" never amount to much, which is a bit less solid a point given she COULD hypothetically say that about someone who was going to die, but given the first point and that we never get any indication she would die, it's some decent sprinkles for the argument she didn't mean Loona was going to die. A perfectly viable excuse for the Loona's fear of needles (not that she needs one, some people just hate needles) could be that the doctors for the orphanage weren't good or gentle, or possibly that she feared the agency or a family who adopted her having her put down for her behavioral issues as a kid or something. Of course we get no indication euthanasia is even a thing in Hell, especially nonconsensually for the personified demon species, but I know how it be with trying to craft canon compliant headcanons, gotta work with what ya got, and Loona could've at some point run into a sinner or someone else who heard about the concept talking about euthanasia and become super afraid of the possibility it could be a thing.
"Brennan Ragers" is a play on Blitzø's voice actor, Brandon Rogers! He has been on TH-cam for a while and is known for his comedy skits. He says that he relates to blitzø a lot and it feels like he was almost designed with him in mind!
Luna's situation might be worse than you think. "Ageing out" in some real world pounds means being euthanized because they're past the threshhold when thery're most likely to be adopted.
9:25 in Hazbin Hotel, you can see that after ep 4, Husk’s pupils dilate whenever he looks at Angel!💞💞 11:13 Oh wow! I never noticed that costume on the left looks like Stolas 11:29 that Brennan Ragers is a reference to Brandon Rogers, AKA Blitzo’s voice actor and co writer of the show along with Viv (for most eps). He also has been on youtube for like over a decade with millions of subscribers, he makes comedy sketches. They’re saying Brandon has big ears😂You can also see the guy Octavia landed on and killed when she went through the portal is Brennan.
something i caught when rewatching this episode is that Brendan Rager is the first ded body Octavia sees when she teleports and Is actually based on Blitzø's VA Brandon Roger
I love that we get to see Loona's heart-breaking past. Hope we see more of her biological family in the future. And Blitzo loves her just so much. ❤ Love Loona's character development, it show's that she does care about Blitzo. The Loona and Octavia moment was beautiful, hope they get a bond like a big/younger sister. 💖
Blitz wasn’t texting Millie that he was making out with Stolas. Blitz’ literacy level is canonically that bad - he can’t spell and genuinely struggles understanding many of the things more well-read characters, like Moxxie and sometimes Stolas, are saying.
Fun Fact: Brennon Ragers is a reference to Blitzo's VA named "Brandon Rogers" who is similar to Blitzo (he's also voiced Katie Killjoy in Hazbin, the show not the pilot)
I'm so curious to find out what Blitz is referring to when he says he hasn't performed since... We know it's not since the *incident* because he went on to perform at Loo Loo Land with the robo Fizz, so I'm so excited to get more backstory
As someone who works on set, I absolutely lost it when the producer showed up with Welch's. Those things are on LITERALLY. EVERY. SET. Hollywood seriously runs on Welch's
8:34 Yay, you paused to read it! A majority of reactors overlook it and then miss a joke later in the episode, so I'm always happy when someone notices that poster. :D 18:55 Hounds are actually below imps on the hierarchy, making them the very bottom, and so subject to being treated however their adopters (contractors) want, for whatever role their contractor wants them for. Most hounds are probably claimed to be pets or security detail (still inferior to their contractor). Blitz claiming Loona to adopt her as an actual family member (equal in status) is probably unusual.
Blitzø in this episode dress himself as Brandon Rogers which in this episode call Brandon Ragers. Octavio also accidentally killed Brandon Ragers when she landed to LA.
I understand that Stolas forgot, shit happens, his life is pure stress currently. What I don't get is whx Octavia didn't just told him what day it is... knowing Stolas he would have dropt everyone instantly to watch the Meteors with her.
Because she's a teenager and because Stolas had worked hard to hide how bad the marriage was until the whole imp-fucking thing, meaning that to her all of this drama is coming out of nowhere. She probably thought she'd be a little rebellious, show her dad (and herself) that she doesn't need him since she felt neglected.
18:46 there’s one darker theory that the Hellhound Pounds are byproducts of Queen Bee’s parties, that many hellhounds who hookup there, end up putting their pups up for adoption, and they wind up in the system. If this holds any weight, it could explain why Loona was so abrasive to Bee. Her birth parents could’ve hooked-up at a party of Bee’s, (or maybe a party hosted by the last ruler of Gluttony before her, if there was one), and then she wound up there. In that case, it makes sense why she resented Bee, because the allure of those parties is a honey trap to repeat the cycle of hellhounds in the pounds. Bee profits off of her guests’ euphoria, as they indulge in gluttony (copious drug use, hookups, etc.), while more and more hellhounds end up in the cycle of hookup culture or in the failed adoption system. Again though, just a theory, but it’d be a good reason for why Loona’s so cynical.
The ending conversation in this episode is hands down my favorite part of the series so far. I have no idea why, but I was full-on crying the first time I watched it, and have teared up every time since. Such a great scene.
I have watched SO many react videos to this series, and this one is the one I noticed Millie asking Blitz about spicy fun time stuff. IS SHE THE REASON WHY BLITZ KNOWS WAY TOO MUCH?? Am I witnessing a relationship boundary violation between M&M???
While not directly related to this episode its worth mentioning for an upcomimg episode (no spoilers) that the white patches on an imps skin is a form of scaring or otherwise represents where they were otherwise damaged and recovered from it. Note that past blitz is all red with his black markings where as curent blitz has quite a bit of white. The reason is further explained in another episode but i dont remember them saying that the white on an imp is like a scar. I beleave it was mentioned in an interview at some point.
It's likely going to be awhile before Octavia sees Blitø as a second dad. Also, I'm calling it right now that Stella will use Octavia to get to Stolas. I'll give you full custody if you give me the house type of bullshit.
Brennon Ragers has larger concerns than his career...namely the fact Octavia inadvertently killed him when she arrived on earth. There's a pretty good chance he's in Hell now given what we know of Heaven in this setting.
Weeby: Like a meteor shower? Stolas: What appears to mortal beings as a meteor shower- Rick: The Omega Device... Rick Prime: Known to inferiors as the Omega Device.
Fun fact: the hellhound adoption center is probably in the gluttony ring (shown in season 1 episode 8) going off by a instagram image of blitz holding the adoption paper for loona and it saying ‘bee’
I still love how stella and stolas basically swap the traditional “roles” of royalty. Like, usually the king/prince is focused on getting a male heir and just sees them as an heir, while the queen/princess actually sees the child as their child and wants to be a good parent to them. So stolas and stella swapping those roles makes me 🥺
In terms of emotional moments and character interactions this episode is one of my absolute favourites. It kinda pulls away from being that gross shows that swears all the time that people expect it to be and offers a genuinely heartfelt, character-driven story and I think it's great seeing Blitz/Stolas and Via/Loona get so much time to just hang out
For a while, this was hands down my favorite episode. What is it about these second episodes in a season that hit so well? And they both start with a baby Via flashback. Will they do this season 3?
I highly recommend reacting to the Helluva Boss song called Look My Way it was originally made by ParanoidDJ as fan-made song about Stolas and his relationships but that was before the events that took place at Ozzies so its not in season 2 but Vivzie Pop liked it some much she made it cannon and with OG creators help they revised it slightly now its timeline is set after S2 Ep1 Look My Way is amazing sung by Stolas VA aswel both versions are amazing.
@@Kaarl_Millsto be fair paimon has possibly 40-60 children, idk how anyone could remember that many. Granted that of course doesn’t excuse his mistreatment/abuse or neglect
Hellhounds are technically the same class as Imps, but get treated even worse (outside of Bee & Glutonny). They are the slave workers of hell. Blitz at least adopted Loona & considers her as a daughter tho. Also Millie was the one who asked abt the ball gag and Blitz said he was making "mackin" Stolas open a portal, not making out. Blitz just tends to have remarkably bad spelling and grammar when doing things like texting, like in ep 1 with the "I am pee" sign.
I think that whatever happened to finally cause him to quit is going to be a noodle incident. It will be mentioned and hinted at, but never really shown. Also, I don't think that we really need to see it to know what happened. We just need to take a look at any other time Blitz has performed. Usually, his comedy goes terribly. The only difference would be that, as a solo performance, there would not be anyone who could step in and keep the crowd's interest. So, he would have given a performance on his own, at best, gotten no response, and at worst, got booed, heckled, and had stuff thrown at him.
I've been a tourist in LA and i never encounters people trying to sell me shit in the streets. Granted i spent the majority of my time museums and didn't visit hollywood.

Considering that we dont know exactly what "Aging out" of the program entails, but seems to be very much modeled on puppy mills or the bad kind of animal shelters, its a matter of debate whether that means if she turned 18 without finding a new family that Loona would be kicked out to the streets or even possibly euthanized.
9:25 in Hazbin Hotel, you can see that after ep 4, Husk’s pupils dilate whenever he looks at Angel!💞💞
11:13 Oh wow! I never noticed that costume on the left looks like Stolas
11:29 that Brennan Ragers is a reference to Brandon Rogers, AKA Blitzo’s voice actor and co writer of the show along with Viv (for most eps). He also has been on youtube for like over a decade with millions of subscribers, he makes comedy sketches. They’re saying Brandon has big ears😂You can also see the guy Octavia landed on and killed when she went through the portal is Brennan.
I almost cried when Blitz got protective over the dog
Blitz being brenon reajers was a joke about brendon Rodgers, his voice actor. Basically they were poking fun at his ears
The Loona adoption scene makes me cry every time. Sometimes when I just think about it.
definitely, as well as "SHES MINE AND I LOVE HER!" such a cute, sad little moment from blitz
that scene gets me every single time :,(
(ive watched this episode 20+ times)
Hey, she noticed the acid warning. Now to see if she remembers it during the scene...
good news: she did
Im glad you noticed the blush! Not a lot of people do lol. I love these two!
something i caught when rewatching this episode is that Brendan Rager is the first ded body Octavia sees when she teleports and Is actually based on Blitzø's VA Brandon Roger
I LOVE the Octavia and Loona interaction in this episode. They're two of my favorites, their friendship/sister relationship is so adorable
Blitz wasn’t texting Millie that he was making out with Stolas. Blitz’ literacy level is canonically that bad - he can’t spell and genuinely struggles understanding many of the things more well-read characters, like Moxxie and sometimes Stolas, are saying.
I'm pretty sure "Hollywood star Brennen Ragers" is a parody of Brandon Rogers, the VA who plays Blitzo.
11:30 its a reference to brandon rogers the voice that plays blitzø
When queen posts, I drop everything and watch immediately ❤
I love that you read "Makin Stols" and your mind immediately went to them making out 😂 He was just getting Stolas to make a portal for them lmao
Fun fact: Brandon rachers is based off of Brandon Rogers, the voice actor for blitzø
Fun fact, Bryce Pinkham, the voice actor for Stolas, was in the Little Shop of Horrors Broadway! That is another little reference
Fun Fact: Brennon Ragers is a reference to Blitzo's VA named "Brandon Rogers" who is similar to Blitzo (he's also voiced Katie Killjoy in Hazbin, the show not the pilot)
Fun Fact! I'm pretty sure Brennon Ragers is supposed to be Blitz's voice actor Brandon Rogers in the Hellaverse!
Hi!!if you're curious brennan rangers (Brendon Rogers ) it's blitzo's voice actor! Also, the guy Olivia crushed to 💀 when she arrived to Holly's wood
Weeby Newz: Man, I bet Fizzaroli embarrassed him (Blitz) on stage or something.
Fans who know: 😐😬
I'm so curious to find out what Blitz is referring to when he says he hasn't performed since... We know it's not since the *incident* because he went on to perform at Loo Loo Land with the robo Fizz, so I'm so excited to get more backstory
@@verynsawyer1413 Yes! More of Blitz’s circus days!😁
I appreciate how much you appreciate the fetch joke from Ke$ha's episode. It's such a solid joke
25:43 „Mackin Stolas do it now“ probably doesn’t mean that they are making out, but that he is making Stolas open the portal.
Brennon Ragers is Brandon Rogers who voices Blitzø
I love these reaction videos!!!!!
Yes Octavia spends time with her mother that I think where she was during episode 7
18:55 Hounds are actually below imps on the hierarchy, making them the very bottom, and so subject to being treated however their adopters (contractors) want, for whatever role their contractor wants them for. Most hounds are probably claimed to be pets or security detail (still inferior to their contractor). Blitz claiming Loona to adopt her as an actual family member (equal in status) is probably unusual.
I think Stolas was going to take Via to space like when she was a kid to see Azathot’s Tears
25:42 No that says "Making" but he's self taught, so yeah, and Millie's texts are on the left.
God that sass line lives in my brain. "Well how was I supposed to know you can spell? I've never seen you read."
Just the thumbnail is absolute cuteness
12:23 the Verosika keychain is a nod to the fact she’s done many shows on Earth under her human disguise, so she’s a renowned idol even among humans
I really look forward to these reactions. It’s fun watching people go through the hazbin/helluva universe.
10:50 FYI this is a reference to when Kanye West was rumored to be having an affair with Jeffre Star while he was married to Kim Kardashian
I really love that sister dynamic between Loona and Via, it fits them 🙂
I can’t wait for her to see the Fizz and Blitz background! I am using all the power in my body not to correct her and spoil it!
Blitzø in this episode dress himself as Brandon Rogers which in this episode call Brandon Ragers. Octavio also accidentally killed Brandon Ragers when she landed to LA.
I think Stolas stayed married to Stella for so long was to give Octavia the one thing he didn't have: a mother figure.
11:25 Brennon Ragers is a play on the name Brendon Rogers(Blitzo's voice actor)
Stolas’s pupils appearing when he realised he forgot… such a small detail but i love it sm..
"Why does he hate her more than he loves me" uuuhhh cuz she literally constantly torments him?
The meta joke about Brandon Rodgers/ Brennon Ragers, will always be funny to me.
19:48 I love how while everyone there is genuinely like "awww so sweet" and Stolas realises there's something wrong
Omg I never noticed before, the star owlz souvenir shop has a pennywise doll from the movie IT
While not directly related to this episode its worth mentioning for an upcomimg episode (no spoilers) that the white patches on an imps skin is a form of scaring or otherwise represents where they were otherwise damaged and recovered from it. Note that past blitz is all red with his black markings where as curent blitz has quite a bit of white. The reason is further explained in another episode but i dont remember them saying that the white on an imp is like a scar. I beleave it was mentioned in an interview at some point.
Seeing a video of you reactiong to Hellavu Boss is always the highlight of my day
something I just caught after re-watching this for the 7th time, is Octavia crushes the real Brendon Ragers when she first comes to LA XDD
20:05 You can actually see her doing that earlier in the episode, if I remember correctly.
16:34 Not the Freddy Fazbear scream. I mean. Mood.
Yeeees human Stolas! 🤌 Also Moxxie trying to support artists was so funny to me this episode. 😂
It's likely going to be awhile before Octavia sees Blitø as a second dad. Also, I'm calling it right now that Stella will use Octavia to get to Stolas. I'll give you full custody if you give me the house type of bullshit.
Just think, if Blitz and Stolas were to get married that would make Octavia and Loona sisters. I could so see them being great sisters together
Brennon Ragers has larger concerns than his career...namely the fact Octavia inadvertently killed him when she arrived on earth.
There's a pretty good chance he's in Hell now given what we know of Heaven in this setting.
I love Stolitz too!! They are so cute and complex. Blitzo is my favorite character hands down and I think he's the best dad of both shows ❤
Blitzø loves Stolas, if not let us be delulu!
Weeby: Like a meteor shower?
Stolas: What appears to mortal beings as a meteor shower-
Rick: The Omega Device...
Rick Prime: Known to inferiors as the Omega Device.
I’ve seen this episode a number of times and never noticed the Verasika keychain on the furry artists table before
Her reacts are always the best lmao
Fun fact: the hellhound adoption center is probably in the gluttony ring (shown in season 1 episode 8) going off by a instagram image of blitz holding the adoption paper for loona and it saying ‘bee’
I GET SO HAPPY WHEN I SEE THAT YOU UPLOAD
25:41 I think he tried to say he was making stolas doing it now
I still love how stella and stolas basically swap the traditional “roles” of royalty.
It kinda pulls away from being that gross shows that swears all the time that people expect it to be and offers a genuinely heartfelt, character-driven story and I think it's great seeing Blitz/Stolas and Via/Loona get so much time to just hang out
Amazing video keep up the good work 👏
I love that we're both equally very very normal about Stolitz 😂
For a while, this was hands down my favorite episode. What is it about these second episodes in a season that hit so well? And they both start with a baby Via flashback. Will they do this season 3?
Btw Azathoths Tears... Azathoth is a Lovecraftion Entity from the C'Thulhu mythos, basically the God of the Old Gods.
8:03 As someone who was born and raised in LA I can vouch that it's just the Pride Ring XDDD
I highly recommend reacting to the Helluva Boss song called Look My Way it was originally made by ParanoidDJ as fan-made song about Stolas and his relationships but that was before the events that took place at Ozzies so its not in season 2 but Vivzie Pop liked it some much she made it cannon and with OG creators help they revised it slightly now its timeline is set after S2 Ep1
Look My Way is amazing sung by Stolas VA aswel both versions are amazing.
Stolas was a better dad to octavia than his dad was to him
Low bar, but yes
@@helenanilsson5666
"Which one of my children is this one?"
The bar is subterranean
@@Kaarl_Millsto be fair paimon has possibly 40-60 children, idk how anyone could remember that many. Granted that of course doesn’t excuse his mistreatment/abuse or neglect
@@Boo_0v0 Having more children than you can keep track of is definitely part of being a bad parent.
"Totally ruined this guy's career" you kidding? It's LA, this is just an average tuesday lol
SISTERS! 🤗 Also, be prepared for episode 3 & 4. 💀
We need more backstory on Loona
5:30 a term me and my buddy use to be stupid and signal a woman is having an affair is “other-dad” so i find it fitting here 😂
7:16 "BLITZ?!!!!!!!!!"
Me: Well. . .been nice knowing ya.
WOOHOO I LOVE THIS!!!!
I've been a tourist in LA and i never encounters people trying to sell me shit in the streets. Granted i spent the majority of my time museums and didn't visit hollywood.
