The way they explain what to do in the events of a spring lock failure actually makes sense, mostly because if it does happen, it might only be in one place, like the arms. So you wouldn’t die and could get treatment, but if you do sudden movements of breath too much, the rest of the spring locks could fails, causing death.
And that actually happens to Afton in the movie. Even though he’s trying to hold still and take the pain, each springlock that fires makes him jerk, and each sudden movement, coupled with his intense breathing and loss of bl**d, it weakens more locks and makes the situation worse…for him at least…👀
I question whether these were actually made to be death traps. Because even then, that just seems like too much of a risk to save a few bucks on just empty suits for the employees. Even if it’s just one spring lock that went loose, if an employee jerks from the pain (which they most likely will), that’s just a domino effect at that point
@@nerdydrawer7265 My FNaF headcanon is that their universe is set in a corporate dystopia, which is how the Fazbear Entertainment company gets away with so many violations.

@@somerandommexican5681 It’s actually worse than that. In the books (specifically The Silver Eyes) we learn that it is indeed possible to survive a Springlock failure, as William Afton had survived one once before and has scars all over his body. The reason they want you to move to the backroom and die quietly if the springlocks go off is because if they helped you survive the springlock failure, you could sue for your injuries, if you die in the backroom, they can hide the evidence and get away with it.
The tape in Wich Bonnie keeps on saying: "stranger... Stranger.." Is so sad to me bc it looks like a scared kid trying to warn the closest adult that something's off...
It wasn't even a adult he was warning. It was another kid, a fifteen year old. Bonnie didn't want him to suffer the same fate that him and the others went through but it was too late.
I think on the original video someone commented that the reason Bonnie only said “Stranger” and not go into more detail was because they could only use prerecorded lines which makes it even sadder since they were trying to warn the kid as best as they could but all they could manage to say was “stranger.”
26:45 can’t remember all the details, but I think the whole “Go, Go, Foxy!” sequence was referencing a game over mini-game from Fnaf2. In it, you play as Foxy 2 times. The first time you walk around and pass by multiple kids presumably enjoying a b-day party. But the second time, you pass by a smiling purple guy-whom we now know is William Afton-and the player can discover the macabre scene of all 5 kids’ corpses throughout the facility.
the foxy preshow has long been my favorite of these. and i swear when the kids show up all twisted and.... dead, i actually start crying. i have such a love-hate relationship with horror. i truly hate it for playing with my emotions, but that's what keeps me coming back too. it doesn't help that I really want to be a mom someday and kids who are suffering (or dead) are one of the easiest ways to absolutely destroy me also the fredbear one served as inspiration apparently for the worst nightmare i've ever had in my life. that wide-eyed bloodstained smile.... i physically cannot watch the end of that video to this day. why do I like horror? am i a masochist?
Fear, at least in fictional horror, is just entertaining. When you're not enjoying the adrenaline rush it gives you, you're enjoying understanding what makes something scary. In videos like this, it's a mix of things. The uncanny appearance of the animatronics, the eerie sound design and the bone-chilling tones and themes. All while taking something that's intended to be entertaining and innocent and turning it on it's head into something horrifying. Like "Lost Episode" creepypastas. Learning about that stuff is just fascinating.
I’ve always liked the Foxy one, but felt that, like a lot of Battington’s earlier tapes, they suffer from pacing issues. Squimpus, for all of his NUMEROUS faults as a person, at least knew to keep his original tapes short but sweet. The only longer ones were deliberately made longer on purpose as they were less about scares and more dedicated to lore. Squimpus also just managed to get across that “homemade video” feel a lot better, I think. It’s honestly such a shame he had to go and turn out to be such an awful person in real life, because he had a lot of creative potential.

About why you can't wear the spring-lock suits without the spring-locks themselves was actually explained at the start of that video. They help distribute and support the weight of the suits as they are very heavy.

The girl in the beginning of the Chica video was unrelated to the girl seen throughout the rest of it. The one seen throuout the rest of that video was the original dead kid possessing Chica. The reason Bonnie appears in the darkness is that it was actually Springbonnie luring the child to the back.
I like the often missed yet even darker elements with the Chica in the bathroom scene you can see the yellow ears of Afton's Golden Bonnie suit sticking out from over the stalls door as Chica pulls it open.
The case of Edward was a dare by his friends but also the kids in the suits where also trying to help him escape springtrap since u see Bonnie pointing where he is and the kids sadly couldn’t protect him
Chica tried to save the girl when she open the door you can catch a glimpse of two ears which means William afton is in the suit. When William said you always wanted a partner which means he tried to put the dead child in foxy. When you see him stare at it means he saw the dead child and you can see foxy run he is running from afton but he was unlucky I hope this helps 😉
Have you heard of Five Nights at Candy’s? It’s a fan-made Fnaf game with a more straightforward story independent from the main game’s story, I recommend it. Just know that it is in the same FNAF universe, but nothing from FNAF crosses to FNAC aside from the possessed animatronics y’know.
Toy Bonnie is saying “He found a way inside.” And “He’s hiding in the shadows.” Of course, he’s referring to William. Toy Bonnie was searching for William as he was alerted to a potential “intruder.” (William.)

Next up I'd highly recommend playing Ultimate Custom Night before reacting to the first three parts of Matpat's Ultimate Timeline, which will take you up to Ultimate Custom Night in terms of the lore. Also, something that's kind of important for you to know is that, at the place where you are playing through the games, there's a bit of a...shift. From UCN onwards, all the games that have come out are actually in chronological order (so far, at least). What I mean by this is that the game that comes after UCN, Help Wanted, also comes after UCN and FNAF 6 in the timeline. There won't be any more prequels (again, so far), games that take place years before, or massive timeskips (again, as far as we know). Chronologically, in terms of both release and timeline, it goes FNAF 6, UCN, Help Wanted, Special Delivery, Security Breach, and Ruin. Now, the upcoming Help Wanted 2 (coming out this December) is theorized to be the first prequel of this era, but that has not yet been confirmed. Also, I'm not just talking about timeline when I say you're about to enter a new era of FNAF. I mean, the games from FNAF1 to UCN tell one, complete, interconnected story. FNAF 6 and UCN were meant to be the end to that story, and it remains very complete. However, that was when FNAF was bought out by an actual studio (indie studio, but still) and they continued it. All the games from Help Wanted-on still have Scott as a major creator, but now there's a whole team of people behind them in addition to Scott. Furthermore, Ruin is actually Scott's last official game, and all the games from Help Wanted 2 (which is yet to come out) onward will be solely the work of this studio, with Scott retiring. And these new games are...interesting, to say the least. They take the series in a new direction, you might say. A lot of people say the franchise should have ended with FNAF 6 and UCN, and while I can see that, I honestly really like a lot of the more recent games like Security Breach and Help Wanted. And that's not to say they aren't popular-a lot of people agree that Help Wanted (or FNAF VR, as it's also known) is one of the best games in the series. But they have a lot more criticism than they used to. Also, don't watch the final part of Matpat's Ultimate Timeline. While I do think it has a lot of good points, and it absolutely made the most sense when it came out, after it came out a lot more books were released that seemed to take things in a different direction.
@@Jumpyman_thegamerYT I imagine it like that one Office quote: Steel Wool: Now that he's made two videos on Ruin, we release B7-2... Matpat: Seriously?! Still doing this?! Steel Wool: We owe Scott that much
Agree with all of this! Amazing write up! 🔥 Definitely wanna stress not to watch the final part of Matpats timeline too lol. That whole episode hinges on pure speculation and a 100x better explanation for that part of the timeline has come out since. I do hope she watches some videos on the Mimic when she gets there in the games
So, when do you think you'll get to playing Ultimate Custom Night and Security Breach? Also, are you planning in continuing watching the game theory videos?
It's honestly just disappointing to see weeby not connect any of the dots even after watching all the lore. The Chica tape shows William luring Susie into the backroom, the Foxy tape is showing the Missing Children's Incident. Like you thought this would be obvious but she doesn't seem to grasp any of it :/

i've never watched the vhs tapes bc im too scared to so i'm glad i have someone to watch it with!!! probably the main reason why i watch reaction vids
This will be in my nightmares
Does she just laughs at everything?
I should not be watching this at 2am but I have to
I fucking love fnaf VHS tapes. I really do and its current 2:21 AM here so perfect.
From what I've heard in the books William has survived a springlock failure and has scars
Check out Spectre's FNAF VHS Universe! it's VERY WELL DONE!
Weeby must be afraid to tell the animatronics to slay
Highly recommend Fredbear family diner vhs
I'm pretty sure that you would think of the hidden nightmare video to scarier then the Battington ones
this man battington is so sick actually 😭
If you like Battington’s stuff, like’d to see you react to his Harmony and Horror series.
I love FNAF VHS Tapes sm. I watch a lot of them
Hey Weeby, I am wondering if you'll be reacting/playing Eternal Endings now since Rain Code is finished??
These videos are essentially remakes of Squimpus McGrimpus’ fnaf tapes! Battington’s version is really good but I have a major soft spot for the originals and I think it’d be really cool if you watched all of Squimpus McGrimpus’ tapes as well, even though they’ll be very similar. Those tapes do not get enough love
Hi Weeby!!! Awesome Video! I highly recommend checking out Spectre’s VHS videos, they are some of the best ones ❤
Also theory the girl in the chica tape could have survived because it said she shut down after the sensors blew
It's not about FNAF, but if you liked these VHS tapes check out Mandela's catalog as well.
It's a really cool series
Matpat just can't catch a break nowadays. Every time he makes a theory, some piece of FNAF media comes out, and he has to rework everything.
@@Jumpyman_thegamerYT I imagine it like that one Office quote:
Steel Wool: Now that he's made two videos on Ruin, we release B7-2...
Matpat: Seriously?! Still doing this?!
Steel Wool: We owe Scott that much
Agree with all of this! Amazing write up! 🔥
Definitely wanna stress not to watch the final part of Matpats timeline too lol. That whole episode hinges on pure speculation and a 100x better explanation for that part of the timeline has come out since. I do hope she watches some videos on the Mimic when she gets there in the games
@@janno7214 Weeby, if you're reading this and are wondering what the Mimic is...let's just cross that bridge when we come to it, okay?
I'm new here I didn't know you knew blaze
4:06 William Afton hid the children’s bodies in the animatronic suits
0:10 Shsl Blaze?
So, when do you think you'll get to playing Ultimate Custom Night and Security Breach? Also, are you planning in continuing watching the game theory videos?
You should watch “FNaF The Interviewed
There is a ghost in each tape
25:29 beautiful slid show
It would be cool if there were fnaf 2 had vhs tapes
Please play DSAF when your completed with fnaf lore
MY question is, why didnt the girl just crawl under the stalls and sneak out the exit when chica came in LOL we all would have!
There was a face in the Freddy tape
It's honestly just disappointing to see weeby not connect any of the dots even after watching all the lore. The Chica tape shows William luring Susie into the backroom, the Foxy tape is showing the Missing Children's Incident. Like you thought this would be obvious but she doesn't seem to grasp any of it :/
