As someone who was born in Mostar, lived there and was “ethnically cleansed” from there, and now lives in the USA, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️! Thank you so much for such an informative and compassionate report. You absolutely get Mostar. It is about healing while still learning from the mistakes in the past. You did such an incredible service in telling the story about the war in Mostar. if we all traveled like you and actually took time to learn about the places we visit, the world would be a much better place. Thank you so much!

This makes all the hundreds of hours researching, contemplating on “what the missing story is”, editing and all of the effort worth it right here with this comment. Thank you for taking the time to express this, I’m framing this and putting it on my wall to remind me that I’m making an impact. Shukran 🙏

That means so much to hear that, thank you 🙏
I sincerely hope my videos have an impact & show a deeper meaning than just a pretty place.

Thank you for sharing. I appreciate the compassion you showed here. Travelling for fun is all well and good but visiting places that have a heavier history is just as important for us to grow and learn as people.

Absolutely 💯 the problem I think has been pictures over the effort to learn. Learning takes time and we don’t seem to have much as we used to of that it seems - so being intentional about the way I travel has always been super important. Thank you again for all your love and support on the videos :) it really means so much. Can get exhausting doing it all, but comments like yours help keep me going.

This was an incredible, insightful video. I'm going to spend the whole month of August in Mostar volunteering and feel far more prepared after watching your video. Thank you for everything you do! ❤️

Very good video but please don't refer to snipers murdering people as "taking them out".
