I'm planning to visit Bosnia & Herzegovina in 3 weeks and I can't wait! I'm planning to stay in the Balkans for about 6 weeks, so far I'm planning on visiting Sarajevo, Mostar, Risan, Kotor, Dubrovnik & Split. This will be my second time in the Balkans, the first time I visited Slovenia, Slovakia, Croatia and Hungary. Thanks for the video!
Great to hear … I don’t have all that time sadly but was thinking of flying to Croatia and then driving or taking a bus to Bosnia … would you recommend that ?
We want to see 100 countries which is a little over half the world so we don’t mind going to places that the average tourist never considers. We love the journey! Thanks for your kind comment and for watching! 😊
Definitely understand the difficulty of change of plans when you are on the road. I heard how beautiful Bosnia was but really it seems like it's beyond my expectations. Turkish and Bosnian cultures are so intertwined, glad you enjoyed the food and coffee!
Wow that bridge looks super high for people to be jumping from! Mostar looks so beautiful, we really wanted to visit but Covid made it impossible during our time in Croatia. The coffee looked really nice, like that it comes with a little Turkish Delight. Craig is the same Kendra too much coffee and he gets the shakes. Thank you for sharing all the scenery we plan to head back that way some day and make it over to B&H.
Hello my traveling friends! Beautiful there. I wouldn't jump off the bridge - Lol. Love the old town architecture. Very informative as always. Well done, my friends 👍. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your day 😀.
That bridge looks beautiful among the other historic city scenery. I would love to watch the bridge jumpers - but would not be jumping myself. The national dish looks so tasty! The coffee experience looked fun! I love my coffee. I didn't know they were known for pomegranates there. Great overview of things to do there!
Thank you for showing us a new destination, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a vlog about Mostar 🤔 Love your coffee experience…looks very Turkish-like? That restaurant was so generous with the 2 portions of fish! It looked delicious! Eeeek! Ziplining 😱 I’m always so nervous when doing it 🙈😂 but wow, the views must’ve been incredible! Well done for doing it you two 💪 The viewing platform is so cool! Looking forward to seeing your day trips!
I just discovered your channel. I love your videos! You pack so much into them. I also love how you do the "big" stuff but you also hit a lot of off-the-beaten-path sites, too (like the cross and zip line!). I like, too, that you show your joy in travel without being breathlessly enthusiastic every moment of the video. Awesome stuff!
Hey guys, thanks for sharing your experiences at Mostar. Skylar would definitely want to jump off that bridge..but I am not sure he would pass the test. I am curious what you have to demonstrate to prove you are safe to jump. Mmm your meals looked delicious. I was thinking one of the fish David got at the first stop was plenty...but two 😆 We would also want to stop by for some fresh pomegranate juice! Zipling looked so fun 🙌 the view was incredible. So glad you both pushed your limits and ended up enjoying it!
You have to do a practice jump to prove that you have good form. Naturally we don’t know all of the jumping criteria as we will never be jumping ourselves. I would love to see Skylar jump though. I would be so impressed!
Hello how are u two doing.. me and my wife thinking of visiting this country since my wife from here but she has never been there and I'm African.. how long u think the flight from Chicago USA? Is it worth a 5days trip? Thank u enjoy ya video
Unfortunately there's no direct flight from USA to Bosnia, but there is a good connection from Chicago with a layover in Vienna (Austria) or Zurich (Switzerland). In both cases, the flight from Chicago to Vienna or Zurich is about 8.5h and then another 1h30m from either Vienna or Zurich to Sarajevo. If you're travelling to Bosnia, you definitely need at least 5 days to explore the most popular places. I suggest that you visit Mostar, Sarajevo, Tuzla and Bihac, although Bihac is further away and may need a few days on its own to properly see and explore the region. For example, if you're on a road trip you can see both Croatia and Bosnia in one go, do a round trip in a car from Sarajevo to Pltivicka Jezera in Croatia by driving through Bihac, spend a night in Bihac and explore the beautiful Una river, then drive to the Dalmatian coast, see the town of Sibenik and Split, and then drive along the Adriatic highway to south into Herzegovina (Mostar), spend a few nights in Mostar and then back into Sarajevo.
Any body know how long the flight from USA to there? We only have one week off work me and my wife thinking of visiting.. we are mix couple she's from this country and im from Africa.. so we want to kno if a week is worth going

Yes Bosnian coffee is very similar to Turkish coffee but don’t tell them that. They say it’s different.

Glad to know I’m not the only one who gets the shakes from coffee. You’ll love Mostar once you can get there! Beautiful place!
Enjoyed watching this , would love to visit

We didn’t jump off the bridge either! We’re not those types of thrill seekers.

Even for a non-coffee drinker like myself, that was some good coffee. Glad I got to experience it.
I loved the video and my heart raced watching the ziplining. Never! Very helpful.
Lol! We understand! It took us many years to try ziplining. Our heart was racing too. Now it seems like the most normal thing in the world!
Zipline - wow wow, bravo, you two are courageous
Especially since this was our first time, we were brave. After your first time though Ziplining is not scary anymore.
Thank you for showing us a new destination, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a vlog about Mostar 🤔

Indeed very Turkish like but Bosnians say it’s very different. Who knows!
@@LucasWorldTravel haha, we’ll just have to go and try it there and in Turkey to compare it for ourselves 😅

Yes it’s worth it! You can do a lot in a week. You could do Mostar and Sarajevo in a week and your wife will be the perfect tour guide.

The city is called Mostar, not Monstar.
😂😂😂
MON-star?? 😅
