    Which place did you like best? Wasn't the Karst Springs just absolutely unbelievable!! It was hard to tell which way was up because the water was so clear.

    I love all the churches! I always visit churches when I travel out of the states because they hold the art and a lot of history. They are also beautiful architecture. Gorgeous! The river is amazing.

      Me too! It was literally the centerpiece of each town and where all the gossip was passed around 😂 The art really is fascinating

    What a beautiful area and I love all the different church's architecture. Love your peacock comment, lol. Completely agree, I stay away from larger birds in general. They're always mean. It's incredible that you can visit places that were built in in 900. The weight of that history and that it's still around always makes me pause.

      I agree! So surreal to visit places so ancient and have the names survive for so long when most of us will be forgotten - yet these people survived through history.
