Is it possible to change the year of google images in itree canopy for canopy changes across time analysis

Yes - you can do this by accessing google earth with a kml file of your Canopy survey. The video begins this discussion right around 45:30.

Do you need to measure every tree in the area that you trying to assess?

For i-Tree canopy, no tree measurements are needed. The methods rely on photointerpretation of aerial imagery. MyTree, i-Tree Planting and i-Tree Eco do require direct measurement of trees.
