Hey um, I'm kinda the guy who says noice around here.
I've got a customized 0393 that's done very similarly to this one. It's the standard production version but all the hardware has been swapped with blue anodized titanium hardware, the clip has been swapped with a deep carry clip, and the scales have been swapped with SDK weave carbon fiber scales. It's such a huge improvement over the stock look of that version.
Red Dog I have the bronze sprint with full carbon scales as well. It’s a great knaff
The "shadow box" type scales like these look the best on 0393s without a doubt. I've got Hinderer clips on both of mine & made a set of blue marble carbon fiber shadow box scales for one & copper shred c/f for the other. I know ZT sells quite a few 0393s but feel that if they originally put this type of scales on in the first place they would have sold a LOT more. They could have at least offered them as an add on or an upgrade from the God awful original ones.

yeah the stock clip is horrifically bad. I put an MXG deep carry on mine. Though I like the stock scales, don't think I"d ever change them.
Like the CF but visually the scales now make the handle seem bigger relative to the blade. The original scales sort of helped balance the 3.5 inch blade and 4.75 inch handle a bit more. I kind of like the Maximus look - at least when it's not blue. FYI the price of the ZT0393GLCF is now up to 300 from anyone that still has any.

I’ve watched this video a couple times over the last year. I’ve had the GLCF version for at least a year. I agree, the CF is gimmicky, but it’s still a good looking carbon fiber if it didn’t glow.
My point is that I really like that marbled carbon fiber you have, but it doesn’t look natural on that knife. That original design gave it cool character in my opinion. Maybe it’s because I’m used to the original design, and maybe the feel in the hand is better, but nontheless I wish this marbled CF came in the original design.
That looks really damn good. All the changes you made to it are awesome.
