That's when Cartoon Network was Cartoon Network!
Nice little chunk of my childhood. I was 12/13 at this point. An absolute golden age for Children's Television.
Cartoon Network advert break was 18 years ago
From Cartoon Network to BBC2, nice. :)
this was not on Monday 30th June! The year is right! Because ,,Super Chunk" was every Sunday on Cartoon Network UK! And in the trailer (
Always wondered who the v/o artist was for Cartoon Network circa 1997...
Pardon, but even in its earliest years, when Cartoon Network UK wasn't 24 hours a day, it was crowded with mostly 80's and 90's cartoons (Ed Grimely, Addams Family (1992), The Mask, Droopy, Master Detective), even before Dexter's Lab first aired. This was instead of having a beyond huge number of Hanna-Barbera classics, Pink Panther cartoons, Popeye, and even Rocky and Bullwinkle, unlike the original US version back then. But nevertheless, this problem could be solved by having Cartoon Network UK run 24 hours a day.
Any more air date information on Tales of the Fantastic? I remember they also showed films as diverse as Clash of the Titans, The Time Machine, Tom Thumb and The Ice Pirates.
There are 5 languages for Wacky Races.
Hula hair barbie!!!!!
