Thank you for the great video - I just finished my passenger CV Boot repair today on my 91 NSX and I watch your video about 20 times to get ready with parts & tools. Of course there were some unexpected challenges along the way with parts that didn't come off a nicely in your video but you gave me the confidence to attempt this - Thanks!
This may be the best TH-cam video of all time! Thank you for taking the time to make it. I definitely admire your patience. What were the symptoms that prompted you to repair your boots? I have some random 'clunk' noises coming from the rear of my 97 and suspect it could be the boots, but I'd rather not this job if it isn't the cause.
Glad you liked. I visually inspected the boot and it was ripped (I check once a year or so but only put 1-3k miles a year currently). I believe once you get to noise you probably need a new joint as it’s already beyond acceptable wear (I think). For FWD cars, if you hear clunks when turning full lock at low speed, that’s a tell tale sign. For RWD, I suspect you could jack the back up and manually spin and listen. With it jacked up you’ll be at a max point on the joint (like full lock on the front) and I think you would hear something. Again, I suspect it’s too late then but you are hearing something so that may confirm your suspicions. You might have a worn “A arm” bushing on the suspension. I actually have a video showing those because I put a camber kit in since my car happens to be lowered (love and hate that fact but it was this way when I bought it). Good luck.
Great videos on the NSX, don't stop making them. The more informational videos out the about this car the better. I am hoping to see a timing belt and clutch job at some point on the NSX!
Thanks. I am trying to help the NSX community as much as I can. I also get a good sense of accomplishment doing this stuff. I have a camber kit install coming. My car has 68k. It going to be a while before clutch and timing belt I’m afraid...(or I hope). We will see, a buddy may need that.

Glad it helped. It’s kinda a pain to get them out as I recall but more or less doable. Good luck, keep the shiny side up…
Thank you VERY much for making this video. I'll be tackling this job soon!
Sure thing. It’s not a terrible job. Half enjoyed it. Good luck.
