Destiny 2: The Shattered Throne Guide - Bosses, Chests, Ahamkara Lore Bone Locations

- The Shattered Throne is Destiny's first dungeon, a 3 person activity in between a strike and a raid. While it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out for veteran players, I wanted to make a full guide anyway just in case. This also has the locations of chests and lore collectables. If more are found, I will post them in here. I really can't wait for someone to tell me what chest/lore I missed within the first 8 seconds of this video being out, very excited for that. If there are errors, I will address them when I wake up, it is currently 5:11am as I upload this.

Found another piece of lore!! After "Thrall Way", before you get to ogre fight, pay attention to the cliffs on the left! Where all the blast thingys on the wall you jump up to a statue. If you jump and look above you while ascendant you will see platforms. Jump along them and you will see bones on a cliff across the chasm. Go through the bones and you will see bones you can grab! Great job bungie this is exactly the kind of dungeon activity players have been asking especially solo player who for whatever reason dont raid. This is the closest thing we have to a 3 man mini raid.I really hope we will see more of this going forward. Im gonna do my best to encourage them because im gonna praise the hell out of them on the forums. More 3 man / solo dungeons please bring em on. I say solo because esoteric soloed it lol.
Ascendant challenges are also a good thing for solo/2 players

Finally finished this solo today! I highly recommend Riskrunner for the final boss fight. Makes you near invulnerable and it deals pretty substantial damage to the Fatesmiths!

I can’t believe I found this on accident. I legit just unlocked the city and was like “let’s go explore because my curiosity is the devil!” And then I tried the mission over and over until I gave up.

I felt forsaken was more like Lord of the rings. But i never played dark souls and maybe that is why

years later finally did my first solo flawless dungeon, could've ages ago but never been bothered but since LFG is down and every other third party service cause bungie doesn't work weekends guess Id run this duengon for the weekly pinicle

Finally did this to get the Izi, did it on the wrong character the first time, had to quit at the final boss in order to eat dinner

One more set of ahamkara bones in there, part way up the taken boop walls you climb in The Descent, you turn around and hop on a statue's head then a ledge, and ascendant platforms spawn (need queensfoil tincture).
Why are guardians collecting ahamkara bones? Not good
heres a tip for those of you who have the crash issue, if you walk around the statue to the back it switches from examine to approach and this will allow you to skip the crash and present the talisman and get the new secret mission (:
Essentially this can be done without a mic as mechanics are very manageable 😁 I am happy with an end game activity for once 👍

The first thing I thought of in that part was Dark Souls, so I approve
turning in the talisman lets you start the quest to get the wish ender. you have to go out and eliminate specific targets, then return to the statue later to turn in the quest and get the bow.

I think this is right where it should be, which is optional and you have to seek it out. If regular strikes where like this solo queuing while your clan or friends are not on line (or when they quit playing like Yr1) would be a nightmare.
I feel a lot better now knowing this was an endgame/3-man event. I was trying to solo this in one night and was feeling heckin weak sauce.

I need a video overviewing ALL the new crap they’ve released since the raid launched. I’m a casual player and get overwhelmed with all the new stuff (which is so cool - gg Bungie, this has been awesome)...plus, I unluckily had a vacation planned right as the raid dropped 😭

I've tried to solo shattered far too long now. I've tried to get help from my clanmates, multiple discord channels, Reddit, xb live, the d2 app, and 3rd party sites. I'm gonna,take a break from playing this week and just do a paid recov next go around for the wish ender quest.
I don't think most people realize what's going on in the shattered throne. Knowledge of the lore makes the game more fun. 😏

So in anor londo there is a ball you can find in the back part of it that you can hold
if you carry the ball to a statue that is missing a ball in the same room you can give it the ball.

So what’s not said in this video is that once you hand in the dreaming city rock or whatever you get 3 tokens and you’ll have to come back to the Dungeon again and kill the 3 mini bosses for these tokens and then you’ll get the wish ender bow

Ok Datto I need help, this week for Petra Venj weekly bounties it says defeat Vorgeth the boundless in the shattered throne. I go to the location u show and the portal isn’t open. I go there ascendant. Isn’t open. Please help I really want to complete this bounty for the rewards.
Ads do not desapwn during damage phase. The amount of time we had to shift to one end of the room because they spawned as we took down the ogres shields

I just went to the location to start it for the first time and there no mission option for it and that woman next to the portal thing wasn't there

Hey Datto, just curious if you know what the arc charge in the Anor Londo area does? It seems when you place it in the statues hand on the right side of the room, a charge then appears in the Thrallway. I have no idea what it is used for but I thought I'd ask about it. Not sure if you get to it in the video yet as I'm only 4 minutes in.
It's part of the Wish-Ender quest line.

@@alliedanchor8864 I ended up doing it , managed to one phase the final boss. The ogre room was a nightmare.
Its wierd recently took a team of 3 of, 2 phases to kill the final boss.
Do you still need to be at full curse week to do it? Because in my perspective it's definitely not full curse week, no blights or taken goo floating around but I have access to it. Will it go away the next weekly reset?
No, it's currently always available via map menu

lol i almost solo-ed this. mostly because everyone kicks me off since i have 560 light. my strat... stay far away and snipe the adds and for the majors, once they are alone use supers, grenades, long distance melee, and heavy ammo
What are the charges for we got to the ogre and we never used them. Got to him with a 556 548 and a 531 lol

What’s the relic for at the beams you have to walk across I know you can deposit it on the far right wall with the statues.

Do you need 3 people to activate it? Trying to solo but there's no portal in the confluence.
I got the first bones a while back and they weren't the ones you picked up in this video, so you might want to tell people that the order you pick them up isn't what they may get.
What I'm wondering is once you've given your talisman can you go back into it again with two people who have still got their talismans. I havr 2 friends who just started the forsaken campaign do I have to wait for them to grind up or will I be able to help them once they get to 560ish?

I thought it was just a secret Story Mission. So I came in there ludicrously underleveled (about 40 under) and got insta-killed by damn near everything that existed
