Update: I finally got it! I must have died 20+ times in that ogre room, but I finally slogged through it and got the bow. Many colorful words were said lol, but it was worth it. Thank you for the guide Sir Sausage, it was tremendously helpful! 😁

I found how how to fix missing orb in thrall room. Go back to where you first came from the room before where you were shooting the ogres. Way back there was an orb there for me and not that spinny thing of death. That orb worked to get through.. Hopefully that makes sense
yes, however as of july 2024 this "fix" bugs it out, and that orb only counts as th first for that door, basically stacking on one side, not allowing the door to the second boss to actually open. :c
update to the issue I ran in to, and the fix, so upon death that ends up resetting that orb back in ogre room you can dunk it in the statues it actually belongs to, thus forcing the NEW and correct orb for the next deposit to spawn in its location.
This is an incredible guide, I had been stuck trying to get the wishender for the longest time and finally got it last week, this guide would have made my playthrough a breeze! Thanks for the laughs!
Just FYI if you use fireteam finder, a lot of people speed run to help you just get through and skip the first orb mechanic to kill the Minotaurs. You get the loot at the end for completion but you can't claim the Wish Ender just before final boss. So do the first Orb & kill minotaurs then return to orbit, you keep the kill progress so dont worry, then look for a fireteam and complete the rest. Also a good bow like the Lemon is great for the snipers. Then switch to sunshot for the ads when going down.

I figured it out you have to go back to previous check point to get the old orb almost impossible without strand (thus only happens if you die with orb)
I have Wish-Keeper and all four of its catalysts, but I still don’t have Wish-Ender. At least one of my characters still has the three old token quests, but I never managed to cleanse the third one. Will finishing this new quest clear out the old ones? It seems to be impossible to abandon them.

I hated this to begin with and can hardly see where I'm going. But do the 1st orb and minotaurs solo...then go to orbit and summon a fireteam on finder & enjoy the rest. It lands up more fun that way.

I've been stuck at the Thrallway for a minute now and every new patch lately has reset my progress!😂 I've gotten really good at Erebus and all the way up to the Thrallway but I just couldn't get past the onslaught of thrall with the orb in hand. It was the banner of war for your Titan that got me on the right track. I needed an equivalent for a warlock. The void fragment, Echo of Leeching was just what I needed. One attempt later, I'm past the Thrallway. I'm new to the game so that Banner of War reference made a huge difference. Thanks for the help!
Finally got it! About 6 hours of my life wasted but enjoyed every annoying minute of it! Great vid Sausie thanks! I had run and died so many times. I had the first momento from the first boss ticked off so I didnt kill him again the next run. It still opened the hallowed ground just killing the yellow health bar guys at each temple and following the signs. I was worried it was going to muck it up if I didnt place the FIRST relic/ball in virgins hands and kill that 1st boss again. As long as you have the momentos from each boss encounter ticked off in your quest, it dosnt matter you can still get the bow after the wizard/Ogre fight! It still counts without that first orb placed. Good luck everyone, my wish has ended :)
Would love to use the Fireteam finder to get this done on Xbox but the FTF wont work, im journey level 6 and its still locked for me. Got the minitour one done, tried the rest but I have been out of the game for a long time so I was unsuccesful
Thanks for the guide! Made things a lot easier. Also I wouldn't recommend doing the platform bits as a blink using warlock. I had many a deaths that I regret haha.
I solo’d everything up until the end boss, some hunter guy joined my team and killed the boss before i had the chance to summon the smaller ogre All that progress for nothing 😩😭😭 Nevertheless thank you so much, this guide made it much easier for me to solo it I used a sniper rifle, trinity ghoul, and a swarm with dragonfly

Another weapon option is "Le Monarque" The dot helps reveal stealthed/cloaked enemies and it has an aoe dot. Great Guide, thank you for uploading this.
A friend and I finally both got Wish-Ender last night by using your movement strategy and referring to your map for key locations. Strangely, my final token from the old version of the quest was cleansed only for all three tokens to remain in my quest list after receiving the bow, so the old method seems to be partially functional but rather broken. The token quests can’t even be abandoned like broken Iron Banner, seasonal event, and Season of the Witch card quests. Anyway, thank you for the guide! It was helpful.
Fantastic guide I love how you do your videos. watched this before and the during the wish ender run. But used fireteam finder for the run one of my teammates literally ran the whole wish ender quest and got me and the other teammate our wish enders.
Another pointer, if you go straight through to the thrallway checkpoint then head back for the orb, the spinney taken balls of doom disappear. Plus if you fall off, you start at the thrallway.
It may have taken me (pun intended) multiple deaths to get the Wishender, but I managed it. Not sure if my heart will be the same after the multiple deaths on the narrow rails, I even threw the orb by mistake at one point! The build and weapon selection came in handy, many thanks!
IDK its a bug or intended but just before the 3rd checkpoint going for the captain...if you die during the thrall run (which I did) you will have to backtrack and redeposit the orb in the ogre room but the ogres don't respawn and the blight stuff is gone so it's really easy. Also during the thrall run if you have a strand class with grapple grenade you can use your grapple without dropping the orb just don't use the dodge.
A great guide! Took me a bit, and had a disconnect right at the last boss, but the save point still held. But to confirm, yes, the Sausage Map Maker needs to be fired :D Did have a bit of trouble as a Strand Warlock, but that's more an operator error than anything else.

It sounds obvious but look fully down when jumping across those walkways...helps to nail the landing. Especially with Warlock. Loads of people cant stick it and keep falling off.
23:05 When running through the area with the 3rd orb, be careful not to die from the remaining thrall that followed you after placing it into the statue as it'll softlock you out of actually having completed the step. The orb won't respawn for the retrying run-through, and the boss door won't be open.

Very, very good tutorial for this! Still trying to get the bow, but that's not due to the instructions here. Only thing I'd add is that if you get killed by the thrall in the thrallway, you lose the orb, and it doesn't come back when you do (i.e. the place you pick it up is empty, and it isn't lying around where you died either). I also ended up with the next checkpoint, which means I can't go back to before the girders section...It seems I'll have to start all the way back at the very beginning.
You don’t have to restart. Just go back to the orb you got on the ogre catwalk. It will respawn then you just have to dunk it again then the thrall way orb will re appear.
I went back, and there was no orb there...just the empty place I got it earlier. I didn't go back immediately though, and maybe I went too far ahead before going back or something. If it happens again, I'll try going straight back to the ogre orb. Thanks! @@pyr1412
New comment -- after loads of frustration with this activity, I finally finished it. I killed the boss and got Wish Ender. While I have problems with Sausages video overall, I think he covered the final boss fight well. Definitely use Graviton Lance (new lights may not have it). Graviton Lance dispatches with all the annoying adds that guard each wizard -- basically in 1 blast. Meaning you can kill either a vandal or a goblin, and the magic void balls will seek out other adds and wipe them out. The other great thing about Graviton Lance is the range -- it's nearly endless range in this room. For me, the strategy that worked best was to actually dispatch all the adds around each wizard (take your time doing it) because there are 4 large pillars in the room, and these pillars provide the best cover, and each pillar will allow peppering adds from multiple vantage points basically. Once the adds are done, it's easy to finish off each wizard with graviton lance, pick up the buff ball, and ultimately dunk the buff ball in one of the pillars by the boss ogre -- the 40 second countdown doesn't really come into play if you dispatch all the adds before trying to get the wizards down. It really is imperative to find the invisible minitaur, kill him, dunk the relic ball he drops in the statue with the open hands, and then do whatever it takes to take down the ogre that spawns. He is surprisingly easy to take down but by this time, all the wizards and adds have re-spawned, so there is a ton of shit firing at you, and everything in this room HITS HARDER THAN YOU THINK. I used arc, solar, void resilience mods on my chest piece, but I don't know if reslience mods do anything in this dungeon. Good luck guardians!
@@CCD05 You do know the Minotaur is invisible right? You have to find him. He spawns in on the same side of the room that you drop down into at the beginning. Once you dunk the ball after killing the 4th wizard and getting the buff, head right for that spot where your originally enter the room and he's there.
@@CCD05 Did you go back in and try to find him? Maybe the room glitched out for you that time? Try again because the invisible Minotaur is going to drop another ball buff that you need to pick up and take to the pair of open hands (not far from where he spawns in) -- and once you place the ball buff in the open hands, you have reached a checkpoint, so if you die you come right to that point and don't have to start the fight over. It's fine to die right after putting the buff ball in the pair of open hands. I needed 2 phases to take the Boss down -- but it's easy because now you'll know the wizard rotation and how to get them down -- no more minitaur to deal with either
Um... What do I do if the thrallway relic isn't there? Edit: it wasn't there because I died, and the rafters relic reset. I just went back and moved it, and the thrallway relic appeared!
@@omegalite1090 you have to repeat the previous stage, moving the relic from pillar to statue. Luckily there won't be any enimes or blights, so it should be quick and easy. Then, check in the Thrallway. If you die again, rinse and repeat.
Load out recommendation for the vorgeth battle, if you use a trinity ghoul and a fusion for a kinetic an add clear becomes so easy. Just proc lightning rod once and you can keep using it to clear adds around the wizards in like 2 shots. I found that an auto loading chill clip riptide worked really well for the wizards. Also cataclysmic is a great damage option for the boss damm near one phases him with well and no surge mods
I am hoping the comments are still read. I got to the second part and lost. When restarting, you are placed in the second battle location, but outside the double doors that are locked. I even exited out and went back in at the same second battle location. Any ideas or is this bugged.
If forgot to kill the invisible matador and put the ball in the hand of the statue and i just killed the big ogre do i have to do the whole dungeon again
The irony is that Wish Ender makes parts of this much easier, but you need to do this to get Wish Ender. Wish Ender is literally the only reason I was able to complete Starcrossed on legend difficulty for the Wish Keeper catalysts.
This one as drove me Insane . Died 100 times on the jumps . Finally got three to slowed room got the ball died tried again and theres no ball to pick up ?
Im giving this video a 3/10 because Sausages never lets you know about what happens if you die during the relic sections. If you die in the thrall room, you have to go all the way back to the relic in the Ogre room, redunk that relic, then try again getting through the thrall room. The relic doesn't respawn in the vessel thing in the thrall room if you die in the thrall room. You can throw grenades to keep the thrall off you -- Sausages never mentions that -- and you can double up the melee protection on your chest piece. If you get by the thrall -- you drop into a room and dunk the relic. Then, you go fight the 2nd Boss. If you die during the second boss fight -- you are SCREWED because you have to again go all the way back to the relic in the Ogre room. That means you have to figure out a way to climb UP the 50 ft drop. On a Warlock, the only way to do that is to use Salvation's Grip to create stasis crystals and use them as platforms and basically scale up the 50ft wall to the thrall room -- then walk all the way back through the thrall room -- then go all the way back to the relic in the Ogre room. Salvation's Grip holds 8 ammo -- if you don't successfully climb back up the 50 ft wall -- you run out of heavy ammo and have to go to orbit then return, and the game will load you back at the bottom of the 50ft wall.
I got soft locked in the freakin Taken Thrall room for the second boss because I died holding the orb and it would NOT RESPAWN no matter how many times I killed myself. I just got frustrated and quit. I honestly might do this with a friend because this whole freaking dungeon is tortuous! I got stuck for 2 hours in the freaking sniper room because I kept getting instakilled depsite my Resistance being at 99 and I had both void and sniper resistances applied.
Yes I've had a lot of comments with this happening to people it seems to be bugged. If you quit out and load back into the checkpoint does it work then?
I did something dumb i didn't know what to do and i missed the 1st minotaur at the start because i jumped down to early welp looks like i need to do this dungeon again
A great video that worked wonders for me until I dropped into the final boss fight. I've died dozens of times and never got remotely close to finishing.
i did the first step last night then i did the second boss and third boss died twice in the ogre room then killed him but it said that I haven't purified the mementos? anyone have an answer?

FYI, Wadcliff Coil melts the final boss (Dul Incaru). Something to do with how she is coded.
Dragon’s Breath works pretty well too. A friend and I defeated her in one phase with just the two of us, our little dragons, and a super or two.

I died carrying the orb and it does not spawn. I went all the way through and now the big doors haven’t opened so what do I do next??
Go back to pillar orb and replace it’ll spawn back

HELP: In the ogre room after you deposit the relic, is there a way to make it across the room with the stubby planks without strand?
In the second encounter sniper hallway I used Eriana’s vow and that made it so easy I had no resistance ahah

I followed every step and when i killed the ogre at the end it didnt update? not sure what to do.

If you die in the 2nd orb room running from the thral you loose that orb and can only do the boss and get 2 for the run FYI
A great guide! Took me a bit, and had a disconnect right at the last boss, but the save point still held. But to confirm, yes, the Sausage Map Maker needs to be fired :D Did have a bit of trouble as a Strand Warlock, but that's more an operator error than anything else.

It sounds obvious but look fully down when jumping across those walkways...helps to nail the landing. Especially with Warlock. Loads of people cant stick it and keep falling off.

23:05 When running through the area with the 3rd orb, be careful not to die from the remaining thrall that followed you after placing it into the statue as it'll softlock you out of actually having completed the step. The orb won't respawn for the retrying run-through, and the boss door won't be open.

Wish ender is my favourite weapon by far for end game content!
Very, very good tutorial for this! Still trying to get the bow, but that's not due to the instructions here. Only thing I'd add is that if you get killed by the thrall in the thrallway, you lose the orb, and it doesn't come back when you do (i.e. the place you pick it up is empty, and it isn't lying around where you died either). I also ended up with the next checkpoint, which means I can't go back to before the girders section...It seems I'll have to start all the way back at the very beginning.
You don’t have to restart. Just go back to the orb you got on the ogre catwalk. It will respawn then you just have to dunk it again then the thrall way orb will re appear.
I went back, and there was no orb there...just the empty place I got it earlier. I didn't go back immediately though, and maybe I went too far ahead before going back or something. If it happens again, I'll try going straight back to the ogre orb. Thanks!

New comment -- after loads of frustration with this activity, I finally finished it. I killed the boss and got Wish Ender.
While I have problems with Sausages video overall, I think he covered the final boss fight well. Definitely use Graviton Lance (new lights may not have it). Graviton Lance dispatches with all the annoying adds that guard each wizard -- basically in 1 blast. Meaning you can kill either a vandal or a goblin, and the magic void balls will seek out other adds and wipe them out. The other great thing about Graviton Lance is the range -- it's nearly endless range in this room.
For me, the strategy that worked best was to actually dispatch all the adds around each wizard (take your time doing it) because there are 4 large pillars in the room, and these pillars provide the best cover, and each pillar will allow peppering adds from multiple vantage points basically.
Once the adds are done, it's easy to finish off each wizard with graviton lance, pick up the buff ball, and ultimately dunk the buff ball in one of the pillars by the boss ogre -- the 40 second countdown doesn't really come into play if you dispatch all the adds before trying to get the wizards down.
It really is imperative to find the invisible minitaur, kill him, dunk the relic ball he drops in the statue with the open hands, and then do whatever it takes to take down the ogre that spawns. He is surprisingly easy to take down but by this time, all the wizards and adds have re-spawned, so there is a ton of shit firing at you, and everything in this room HITS HARDER THAN YOU THINK. I used arc, solar, void resilience mods on my chest piece, but I don't know if reslience mods do anything in this dungeon.

@@CCD05 You do know the Minotaur is invisible right? You have to find him. He spawns in on the same side of the room that you drop down into at the beginning. Once you dunk the ball after killing the 4th wizard and getting the buff, head right for that spot where your originally enter the room and he's there.

@@CCD05 Did you go back in and try to find him? Maybe the room glitched out for you that time? Try again because the invisible Minotaur is going to drop another ball buff that you need to pick up and take to the pair of open hands (not far from where he spawns in) -- and once you place the ball buff in the open hands, you have reached a checkpoint, so if you die you come right to that point and don't have to start the fight over. It's fine to die right after putting the buff ball in the pair of open hands. I needed 2 phases to take the Boss down -- but it's easy because now you'll know the wizard rotation and how to get them down -- no more minitaur to deal with either

Edit: it wasn't there because I died, and the rafters relic reset. I just went back and moved it, and the thrallway relic appeared!

@@omegalite1090 you have to repeat the previous stage, moving the relic from pillar to statue. Luckily there won't be any enimes or blights, so it should be quick and easy. Then, check in the Thrallway. If you die again, rinse and repeat.

Load out recommendation for the vorgeth battle, if you use a trinity ghoul and a fusion for a kinetic an add clear becomes so easy. Just proc lightning rod once and you can keep using it to clear adds around the wizards in like 2 shots. I found that an auto loading chill clip riptide worked really well for the wizards. Also cataclysmic is a great damage option for the boss damm near one phases him with well and no surge mods

I am hoping the comments are still read. I got to the second part and lost. When restarting, you are placed in the second battle location, but outside the double doors that are locked. I even exited out and went back in at the same second battle location. Any ideas or is this bugged.

The irony is that Wish Ender makes parts of this much easier, but you need to do this to get Wish Ender. Wish Ender is literally the only reason I was able to complete Starcrossed on legend difficulty for the Wish Keeper catalysts.

Im giving this video a 3/10 because Sausages never lets you know about what happens if you die during the relic sections. If you die in the thrall room, you have to go all the way back to the relic in the Ogre room, redunk that relic, then try again getting through the thrall room. The relic doesn't respawn in the vessel thing in the thrall room if you die in the thrall room.
You can throw grenades to keep the thrall off you -- Sausages never mentions that -- and you can double up the melee protection on your chest piece.
If you get by the thrall -- you drop into a room and dunk the relic. Then, you go fight the 2nd Boss. If you die during the second boss fight -- you are SCREWED because you have to again go all the way back to the relic in the Ogre room. That means you have to figure out a way to climb UP the 50 ft drop. On a Warlock, the only way to do that is to use Salvation's Grip to create stasis crystals and use them as platforms and basically scale up the 50ft wall to the thrall room -- then walk all the way back through the thrall room -- then go all the way back to the relic in the Ogre room.
Salvation's Grip holds 8 ammo -- if you don't successfully climb back up the 50 ft wall -- you run out of heavy ammo and have to go to orbit then return, and the game will load you back at the bottom of the 50ft wall.

I got soft locked in the freakin Taken Thrall room for the second boss because I died holding the orb and it would NOT RESPAWN no matter how many times I killed myself. I just got frustrated and quit. I honestly might do this with a friend because this whole freaking dungeon is tortuous! I got stuck for 2 hours in the freaking sniper room because I kept getting instakilled depsite my Resistance being at 99 and I had both void and sniper resistances applied.
Yes I've had a lot of comments with this happening to people it seems to be bugged. If you quit out and load back into the checkpoint does it work then?

A great video that worked wonders for me until I dropped into the final boss fight. I've died dozens of times and never got remotely close to finishing.
i did the first step last night then i did the second boss and third boss died twice in the ogre room then killed him but it said that I haven't purified the mementos? anyone have an answer?
My door for the second boss isnt opened i deposited the orb and i died right after and when i respawned my orb was gone and now im stuck

You need to complete the Lightfall campaign. At the moment, all dlcs are heavily discounted or even free!(eg PS plus). Strand is awesome btw!
