>In Encounter 2, I mention that the Bellkeepers are under the High Staircase? But they can be found under either staircase
>While you CAN FARM this Dungeon, your loot pool is RESTRICTED to what you've currently unlocked. Meaning if you run the dungeon with 1 character and only get: gauntlet armor, smg, helmet armor - and you run the Dungeon 10 more times - you'll only ever get: gauntlet armor, smg, and helmet armor. You're able to farm what's unlocked IN your dungeon loot. pool.

During the second encounter. There are half walls in front of each door (where the stairs to each standard bearer would be in nightmare) that have symbols on the backsides to let you know where you need to go in the nightmare realm. You can actually get setup right at the doorway and appear at base of the stairs you need to be at. You just may need someone else to hit the bell. Being presetup in normal world saves a lot of time and confusion on nightmare.
in the first encounter you can pick up more than one standard essence, at least if you are solo

The Bellkeepers will always spawn opposite of the bell you go through to reach the Nightmare realm - this is true in encounter 1 and 2. So if you go through the high bell, in the Nightmare realm they'll be opposite you under the low bell, and vice versa.
Also in encounter 1 - all 3 people can be in the doors, you can shoot the bell from inside there to be teleported to start the "kill the shades" phase.
Great vid. But I have something to add, you can infact pick up two standard essences at a time. Just wanted to make it known since you said that you can only carry one.

@@galenthomas7322if u haven't done shattered throne or grasp yet, try those first. I've done grasp solo flawless and so far that was much eaiser than the pain which is this dungeon. Seriously, the timer kills you, you get to do almost no damage whatsoever and have to take 6-8 phases on just the very first boss.
I like this dungeon. It’s the Titanfall 2 time switching mechanic from the Effect & Cause mission turned into a dungeon, and I love it.
I thought the exact same thing as well. Good to know that there are other ttf2 sweats out there.

There have been whole games built around this concept. That's not why that Titanfall mission was so good (part of the reason but not the major reason)

"Easy two phase with any basic loadout." That's where you're wrong, friend. See, our party leader insisted on a blind run. None of us realized there was a buff for being next to the bell when we rang it to stun Caiatl. It took us 11 phases, not including the ones where we didn't get to DPS because we didn't ring the bell in time.
I’m curious what PL they were at as the only screenshot shows 1485. I finished it last night with a team at 1565 in 6 phases even with knowing the bell stunned her at close range.

My brother, it's day 1 of a new dungeon. Blind runs are the best way to experience them. Maybe after failing to do meaningful DPS, i can understand looking up mechs, but it completely fine to want to do a new Dungeon blind. No one should have to insist you for that.
@@SumitShrivastava17 My brother, my issue is not that he desired a blind run. My issue is that he failed to learn from his and our mistakes, and then insisted he was always right and that we were always wrong.

I highly recommend using huckleberry, Cartesian/likely suspect/null composure and falling guillotine for literally the whole dungeon. but especially 1st encounter. use your fusion on the shades and after your first kill and you pick up the unstable essence you one shot all the rest of them and can fly through to start dps on the boss
Trinity ghoul and riptide also works similarly if a person wants something with more range as well 👍
Huckleberry was absolute GOAT tier for me during the final encounter.

Bellkeepers in encounter 2 always spawn on the lower level opposite the bell you used to enter.
They always spawn near the bells you didn't use in any encounter. In first encounter and in the last with the 3 bells they'll be near both that you didn't use to enter. Also you have to exit with the same bell you entered with which isn't conveyed well in like, any guide I've seen, they keep saying you can exit with any bell but that's false
I 2 manned blind up to Caiatl and our loadouts were, Void Warlock w/ Deliverance, Vex and Falling Guillotine for my buddy and I rocked Solar Warlock w/ Blinding nade Ignition Code, Staccato-46 and Lament. Lament was so good during the first and 2nd encounters, can't say for the final because we had to quit due to outside factors
Lament is so good, it is an absolute workhorse in this dungeon for dps and killing tougher ads. Good ammo economy too.
I really enjoy how you add in the unedited gameplay as well as the actual guide (and let's not forget the masterful diagrams), it makes these guides top tier
Bell Keepers always spawn at the opposite bell of the one that you rung.
Second encounter, you'll find a small walls, where you kill the bell keepers. On back of those walls are symbols that correspond to areas you need to go. I found it easier to just stay next to wall when teleport to nightmare world, as you will spawn on the staircase to this exact area. Saves time and confusion.

There is something I would like to add, the bell that you shoot to go to nightmare world is the same bell for oyu to go back to the normal world, and the bell keeper will always be located at the other bell.
So
for example if you shoot the top bell, the bell keeper will be located at the bottom bell.
I have something to add. My team found it inconsistent when we rung the bells for damage phase so we wait to get her closer and used swords instead. We almosted 1 phased her if we built into the swords we would have killed her. Hopefully someone finds this helpful
Same. We went in blind and we literally just used swords and two-phased her after trying rockets.
To be fair, I think Divinity probably would've worked but we tried swords and it was so effective we said nevermind lol
There was a memory to steal above the first large Callus statue (before u drop through the square hole in the floor)
Some things to note on encounter 2:
- When in the normal world, there are walls in each of the 4 corners with the symbols. You don’t have to memorize the locations (although then you won’t be utilizing Fallout’s perfect, cannot-be-improved-upon map). If you stand where you can see the symbol when you teleport, you are already on the staircase to the correct standard bearer.
- The bell you shoot will be the bell you take to get back to the normal world and the bell keepers will spawn on the opposite side. So shoot the top bell, bell keepers will be on the bottom side and you will take the top bell back and vice versa.
We would have two people stand at the corresponding spot near the wall with the symbol. The third would stand at one bell and shoot across to the other to teleport. This puts the symbol people close to where the standard bearer spawns and puts the bell person right on top of the bell keepers. Symbol people go and clear there side and get the standard while the bell person drops down, kills bell keepers, then works towards the bell while clearing the middle. They can also help if someone is having trouble getting their standard.

Just want to say that on the second encounter, around the real realm room there are doors with symbols in front of them that correlate with the same essence in the nightmare realm.
Great vid Fallout one thing my fireteam noticed painfully was the following:
In the boss nightmare room, if you decide to shoot the standard bearer snipers make sure you only kill the one's that you went in there for. As this will deduct time in the nightmare realm. This only happens in when in there during non damage phases.

Just finished my first blind run of a dungeon ever with two buddies! I just started playing a few months ago so it was great to run through a dungeon with 2 people who were as clueless as I was 😂 Definitely used my trusty funnelweb and some blinding grenades. Finished on a solar hunter though, blade barrage saved my ass multiple times. Probably not ideal though. Got 3 of the new weapons too! No spoilers though 😉. Great vid though, was fun to watch 👍

In the final boss damage phase, you can try to bait out Caitals stomp to slow her down and give you more time to kill the bell keepers
Hot pick but for the first encounter tarrabah actually shreds the visions of ghalran if you use ravenous beast on them. I used cataclysmic for dps and it worked out pretty well.

Thanks for the vid- was watching TV on Friday and some of the areas looked nuts. Will have to decide to either use void or solar for my hunter if I run this dungeon.
The burst DPS on Solar hunter is higher IMO but I definitely found survival easier on my void omnioculus hunter

Holy cow didn't know you got a damage buff against Caitl when near the bell. Ended the raid with me doing 4 million, while my friends did around 700k each, but now it makes sense because I was ringing the bells and was using a sword
This is the fastest ive seen one of your videos posted, I got here 52 seconds after it was posted! thanks for the guide, my team struggled through it yesterday.
Also just as a tip in final room what me and my ft did was had 1 person on infinite invisible (to get the standards) and the other 2 people would set off to kill the bell ringers... then once bell is ready the guy with standards would just ring it... go invisible again to dunk the standards and also res other 2 guardians... you won't ever wipe to time just keep that in the back pocket if you are trying to basically carry someone like I was...

Also if you struggle on 2nd encounter you can bank banners one by one. So two people can go after a flag. It's slower but more safer option.
i found even on locks and hunters T6 res can be game changing for keeping you alive with T5 being almost nesscary

What is that energy weapon/scout you were using in the first encounter?
I was soloing just to get an idea of layout. Nade it all the way to the first boss before getting stuck. Didnt figure out the side room with the visions.

PSA Swords are also a great option to run in the boss room eager edge and whirlwind half truth with a witherhoard or blinding GL has been my savior :D

Correction on encounter 1:
You CAN pick up both essences as one player in the nightmare world, and I would advise people to have their tankiest player (or the one who stays alive the best, whether through skill or build) pick up both, then do one at a time if you’re not confident and kill the visions together. That way, you have the largest chance of staying alive and all know when damage phase starts.
I just did some short damage testing, I tested the new Linear fusion against Tarantula with box breathing and Reed's Regret with Vorpal, I don't have another person nor a linear with firing line to test that, my Stormchaser rolled with pretty meh to bad perks, so no damage increase perks. All 3 of the linears I have that I tested have 41 impact and 533 charge time, as similar as I could. I tested the damage on those floating discs in the Enclave for free amount and convenience. All damage is crit (yellow) I don't believe the light level here makes a difference due to my damage number findings but this was a short test out of curiosity. First Tarantula at 1350 w/o BB hits the closet disc for 29,571, w/ BB hits for 39,086. Next 1553 Reed's Regret with Vorpal weapon hits the same disc for 33,896, finally the 1562 Stormchaser hits for 16,183 per bolt, it shoots 3 shots for the price of one ammo so multiply 16,183 by 3 and I got 48,549. I now am going to farm the dungeon as much as possible for a god roll of Stormchaser.

Solar shotgun + Nightmare Essence + Solar Weapon boost = 1 shot Vison of Galrhan
I was running the one from this season and taking out the visions was a joke once you get the Nightmare Essence.
This let's you blast through the phase to give you a ton of time for DPS and you don't burn super or heavy. You'll end up with about 8-10 shots left for boss, too
Once I got that first nightmare essence, I was able to 1 shot the Visions with my kinetic aggressive frame shotty. I’m leveling my crafted Ragnhild-D with subsistence and extended mag. I get through that room without needing to reload 😊
9:39 is false. He said you can only pick up one but you can actually grab 2. During my solo run I grabbed 2, teleported back. And just went into each room individually clearing the clones then teleporting back and then doing the next room. If you're in a team though it's better to do 1-1. Solo grabbing both is faster.
This dungeon made me finally respect the enigma. It also forced me to run double special ammo.
At around 32:25 what’s the plate there for that says needs a standard?

2nd encounter, you can have someone just be dead in the real world and just keep spinning till its facing the middle, the dead guy saying when to stop. its what i did when i first did it lol
Great fid as always fallout. Can someone confirm exactly how to get the extra damage on Caital? Im pretty sure all fireteam members have to break the bell together. My friend and I 2 manned the raid and sometimes one of us wouldnt shoot the bell to stun her and we didn’t get the increased damage on her.
It doesn't matter who rings the bell, but to get bunus damage you need to be standing near the bell, as if you're teleporting back to the normal world. If you do that you should get a buff, i forget what it says, and you do more damage.
My team 4 phased it once we figured that out, but ammo was tight the entire time.

One person was able to grab two essences.
I’m not sure if the player count was the deciding factor.
It wasn’t. I did it with a full team of 3 and could carry 2.

My team spent 7 hours in the dungeon lol. 15 damage phases on last encounter
so Caiatl is meant to be two-phased, yet my team and I had to do like a 7-8 phase. she was that tricky for us

Quick question has anyone tried the old dreambane armor this season in this dungeon? Or is it sunset I ask because of those dreambane mods used during nightmare hunts
The text of the hunts specifically say to equip those mods for a buff, unlike the dungeon. Would have been a nice move though. Tie things together instead of splitting every season even if they have the same flavor.

@@Gravesyte it's not a bad thought. I Bungie had it too. The game will be better once you hit your break, more season to progress, more challenges to get quick xp and the stuff to progress the vendor.

In the large jumping room after first boss, with the 2 levers, after you activate the second lever, instead of going to the right wall plats, look left and you'll see there's 2 of them that seem to lead nowhere. Go to the left (from 2nd lever) and there's a pillar on the second plat. Jump around it and you'll see there's a memory in the unoccupied hole in the wall. Just a tip.

Unrelated to the vid but has anyone else been getting 30 frames in the directory for some reason? I'm always on 144 and now it seems the directory just about flatlines my pc. just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this
So what happened in the second encounter is that they spawned the standard bearer but left the nightmare world without killing him, and for some reason the standard bearers dont despawn in this encounter, so when they went back in the standard bearer was alive and the ads respawned like normal anyways.
