Same! I would never go back to Instagram or facebook. I honestly deleted them bc I was going through a rough breakup and wanted to go ghost and not give my ex the satisfaction of being able to know what I’ve been up to. The plan was to come back months later to post a fire photo and flex on him. But after going on my healing journey and doing the inner work, I realize that I didn’t need to. That I actually liked living a real, meaningful life without anyone watching. not living life behind a camera lens (minus TH-cam, I consider YT as online television- where I am the star of my own show lol) was the best thing I did for my mental, emotional, spiritual, and even physical health. I had more time to reflect, meditate, pray, workout, and just become a better Me. It also helped to deepen my relationship with the people in my life bc we weren’t sending eachother memes and having pointless small talk on Instagram anymore. But yeah, totally agree with the points in this video! Loving the interviews man! Keep it up!
Had to pin this because of how real your comment is! Your character development from this healing journey has been exceptional (its so satisfying to watch as viewer you navigating and combating these hardships and spreading positivity!). Genuinely amazing to see you go from wanting to "post a fire pic" to realising you didn't want to anymore. Everyone needs to go check your content out!!
@@AmaAma-jz5ej wow! your comment has brought me back in time. ty so much for this. this is a reminder for me to keep going and to keep documenting my journey! And Dil, if you're seeing this- Hello, it's been a while, hope you are doing well! I still support and watch your content!
I deleted my Facebook account almost 11 months ago and I have no regrets. I don't miss the gossip, dumb videos, and the posts of everybody else's good stuff. I read more than I used to. I was always looking at a stack of books and thinking, "I'll never be able to finish these." But it turned out, I had more time than I liked to think. I will never go back to Facebook!!!
I deleted Instagram and Tik tok 3 days ago, im going through a hard time mentally speaking and i think that quitting social medias will be a good thing for me, im tired of comparing myself and my life to others, tired of only posting the best things when in fact i am not going well.. Now i need the only thing i need is to find myself and live to the fullest and your video help me in my choice 🙌🏼
I can relate …I came back gullible…things have changed peoples lies have elevated..feel like I’ve been living in a cave …but I’m the happiest I’ve ever been depression is gone the pressure is gone …..you know what’s real and what’s fake
Totally agree with your message! Once you quit using an app, the need to go back decreases over time. You just have to weigh the pros and cons for yourself cuz it could be different for different people. Great job!! :)
Been off Facebook, Instagram, & Snapchat for almost two years now. I just recently deleted both Snapchat and Facebook. Instagram I couldnt find out how to delete it. So, I just wont get on the app anymore. I will say life without social media is so much better!! So much more privacy and peace of mind
Dude, the flow of your videos, quality, and editing are top tier. My mouth literally dropped when I saw this was a new channel. I expected you to already have 100k + followers. Keep it up 👏👏 I quite social media 3 weeks ago. Best 3 weeks I’ve had in years 😊
Hey Ben, comments like these really motivate me, thank you for spreading positivity! I’m glad to hear that the 3 weeks have been super beneficial for you, hope that’s many more to come! Keep me posted :D
I deleted instagram 18 days ago, and it affected me positively. I never thought I'd feel this good without it. Honestly, I think instagram is the unhealthiest place to be rn. Luckily, I never had a tick tock or snapchat account. Thank you for sharing, Dil. Keep living in the moment.
Wow this is so great to hear Tamara! You’ve done well by not having tick tok and Snapchat account. Would really love to hear how you find it after 30 days, keep me posted :)
I been off social media almost 2 yrs and my friends think im never going back. I said i am next year but i feel the sameway you do, if i dont have a business or not helping, or inspiring or motivating anyone then what is the point. So we we will see next year. I have accomplish alot plus getting to know myself spiritually. I get to enjoy my now and not worry about how others see me. I dont need validation on my happiness.
mmm when u said something along those lines of .. ill only jump back on to social media once ive created an intention to.. that was 🧠 bc ive realized that the ones on socials without a purposeful intention are literally just using it to passively scroll (me).. this video was tremendously awakening oof. EVERYONE GO WATCH HIS FIRST VIDEO TOO!!!
I don’t think quitting social media will help you elevate ur TH-cam channel,it is quite important to know what’s going on with the world as well as helping your channel reach a certain goal, now people can’t discover your channel on one of the most used platforms on earth-just my opinion.
Yes I do agree it is counter productive with growing a channel. Im fully aware of that and I know if I had social media it would definitely help a lot but in all honesty deleting social media has helped me break negative habits and feel more productive/focused which i'm happy with.

I’ve read a quote somewhere that stated “if the service is free, then you are the product”
Damn what a quote!
Great video, well made, well edited, good sound and background music. Enjoyed the interviews with the public too. You deserve more subs.

The people who talk about quitting social media on TH-cam don't they realize that TH-cam can also be said to be social media
You're definitely right especially with TH-cam shorts! But like mentioned I think there is a difference between consuming vs producing.
