    Here we can see the priorities of climbers ahaha, the walls aren't even painted but the tensionboard with LEDs is perfectly setup with all the pads

    The board looks cool, but more importantly, watching Matt climb is awe-inspiring.

    Oh, man, the setup is growing. Super cool. The tension board looks so slick. Nails climbing too, wild.

    So sick! Would love to see you tried the mirrored version of some of these climbs and see how they compare for you! I have a TB1 and sometimes trying the mirrored version makes it feel like a completely different problem. Which I imagine in a perfect world it shouldn’t! 😂

    • @matt_fultz
      @matt_fultz  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tried some mirrored versions today! Yes absolutely it makes a difference, so weird. It's a great way to magnify your weaknesses and imbalances.

    Super cool setup! Btw what are the pros and cons of having a kickboard at the bottom? is it something you considered or do you prefer not having one?

    Would you mind sharing how you mounted your board to the wall? Thanks!

    Did you run into any issues with running the lights? Also how did you frame this thing out. Would love to see that in detail.

    Tension Board 2 looks so good!! No one seems to have one in the San Diego area :(. Nice work flashing all the things 😂

      Thanks! Yeah hopefully more and more gyms order one. Best board I've ever climbed on!

      @@matt_fultz , our club here in Germany plans to buy a board - 12x12 adjustable. Why would you prefer a TB2 over a Kilterboard and what do you think is that comparison like for climbers in the V3-V7 range? Don't you miss the KB's kickboard with it's footholds, giving some extra mileage?

    Could you clarify what you meant when you said this board is a different style than your other board?

    Hi! Your wall looks gorgeous!
    I have MiniMoon, but as I saw the Tension board 2, I dream of installing it. Could you please clarify some details, please!? :-)
    What is the height of the wall?
    Are the lights visible while climbing?
    On your wall there is not place under kickboard, is it convenient without it?

    • @matt_fultz
      @matt_fultz  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I love that! I would absolutely recommend it, it is such an incredible training tool.
      Dimensions: 12'X12' (Y-axis height around 9'2")
      Yes! The lights are clear to see while climbing. No more searching for footholds.
      The TB2 does not use a kickboard.

    The board looks really nice, how are the holds compared to like a moonboard?

    • @shmalts1
      @shmalts1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Better

    • @matt_fultz
      @matt_fultz  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In my opinion they are much more comfortable. Some people prefer the "tweaky" nature of the Moonboard as it can be good for training for outdoor climbing, but I prefer to keep my tendons and pulleys healthy.

    If you don’t mind how much did this cost you, for all the parts and leds and installation costs ?

    V12 FA by Matt is definitely not the lowest in the grade on that board.😅

    You should do a video after a fair bit of use and breakdown if you think the cost to benefit is worth it !
