ഉജ്ജ്വലം👍👍👍സയൻസ് എന്നും വിസ്മയിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടേയിരിക്കുന്നു.ഇനിയും പുത്തൻ അറിവുകൾ നൽകുന്ന essensനും ratheesh, സർ,രവിചന്ദ്രൻ,സർ,വൈശാഖൻ,സർ,,തുടങ്ങിയ എല്ലാ പ്രഗത്ഭർക്കും നന്ദി,തുടരുക,,ഈ യജ്‌ഞം
മുന്ന് വർഷമായി ആയിരങ്ങളെ ആകർഷിച്ചു നിർത്തുന്ന വാളാൽ മാതാവിന്റെ രഹസിയം പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവരാൻ നമുക്ക് ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം ഉണ്ട്.
പല തവണ പിന്നീട് കാണാം എന്ന രീതിയിൽ മാറ്റി വച്ച ഇ വീഡിയോ അവസാനം കണ്ടു കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ വലിയ ഒരു നഷ്ടം നികത്തിയത് പോലെ തോന്നുന്നു... എന്താണ് ഒരു അവതരണ രീതി.. കിടിലം.. എഡ്യൂക്കേഷന്റെ അങ്ങേ തലക്കലിൽ നിന്നും ശാസ്ത്രത്തിന്റെ അഡ്വാൻസ് ടെക്നോളജി വഴിയുള്ള കണ്ടു പിടുത്തങ്ങളും നിഗമനങ്ങളും റിസേർച്ചുകളും വഴി പ്രതിഭാ ശാലികളായവർ നേടിയെടുത്തു നമുക്ക് സമ്മാനിച്ച ശാസ്ത്ര അറിവുകളും ഒരു തരത്തിൽ അതെ പാത വഴിയോ അതിനോട് കിടപിടിക്കുന്ന രീതികളിലൂടെയോ താങ്കൾ ആർജിച്ചെടുത്ത അറിവുകൾ എന്നെപ്പോലുള്ള ഏതു സാധാരണകാരനും ദഹിക്കുന്ന രീതിയിൽ മനസിലാക്കുന്ന മനോഹരമായ അവതരണം.. നമിച്ചു.. എന്നെപോലെ യുക്തിചിന്തയുടെ ബാലപാഠങ്ങളിൽ പിച്ച വച്ച് തുടങ്ങിയ സാധാരണക്കാരന് മുന്നോട്ടുള്ള പാതകൾ അന്ധവിശ്വാസങ്ങളുടെ ഇരുട്ടകറ്റി തെളിയിച്ചു വിശാലമാക്കി തരുന്നത് അഥവാ നെഞ്ചേറ്റാൻ സ്വീകാര്യമാക്കി തരുന്നത് താങ്കളെ പോലെയുള്ള അനേകം പേരുടെ ഹൃദ്യമായ അവതരണ ശൈലികൊണ്ടാണ്.. എസ്സെൻസ് ഗ്ലോബലിലെ ഓരോ അധ്യാപകരും (അറിവ് പകർന്നു തരുന്നവർ ) ആ കാര്യത്തിൽ ഒന്നിനൊന്ന് മെച്ചമുള്ളവരാണ്.. അതായതു ദൈവം മിത്തുകൾ കമ്പി കൊടച്ചക്രം തുടങ്ങിയ കാര്യങ്ങൾ മാറ്റിവച്ചു തലച്ചോറ് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ശാസ്ത്ര അറിവുകളെ യാഥാർഥ്യ ബോധത്തോടെ ശ്രവിക്കാൻ വരുന്നവരെ സംശയ നിവാരേണ മനം കുളിർപ്പിച്ചേ ഓരോ പ്രഭാഷണങ്ങളും കടന്നു പോകാൻ അനുവദിക്കൂ....

ഗംഭീരമായ പ്രഭാഷണം. വളരെ യുക്തിസഹമായ രീതിയിൽ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇതിലെ കുറച്ച് പിഴവുകൾ choondikanikkatte. ബിഗ് banking ശേഷം atoms രൂപപ്പെടുന്ന mechanism പ്രഭാഷണത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുള്ളത് നിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്തമാണ് എന്നാണ് ഞാൻ മനസ്സിലാക്കിയിട്ടുള്ളത്. പ്രഭാഷണത്തിൽ സൂചിപ്പിച്ച പോലെ അവിടെ ഒരു രാസ ത്വരകത്തിന് പ്രസക്തി ഇല്ല. Nuclear reactions aanu. Nuclear fusion വഴി ഹൈ atomic mass elements, uranium, thorium എന്നിവ ഉണ്ടാക്കാൻ സാധ്യമല്ല.

Suppose this discourse was done by CM of Keralam, Pinarayi Vijayan, would it have been completed in a week ? In normal course he does speak three or four words in a minute, in an hour 240 words. While Dr. Ratheesh must have spoken 5000 to 10000 words in 60 minutes. He could do it because he was thorough on the topic thus no hesitation to say what he wanted to say.

Could I ask you why are there male and female genders for multiplication or reproduction please? if a life form could reproduce itself, could this not happen, on its on like the process of parthenogenesis! except in some forms of lives like earthworm, all other species need to have both eggs and sperms to reproduce.

Not a question to be answered in a word or line. But I will try to give a very simple answer. The mitochondria in our cell is not just an organelle, but rather a parasitic microbe which is living with us in a symbiotic relationship. They can potentially mutate to form a new strain, which might not be advantageous for us. One way to prevent it would be not to allow their mixing. We do it simply by avoiding them while contributing sperm. This ensures that you get the mitochondria from only your mother. I hope you can see why we need at least two sexes.

In genetics, the term variation is also important... Which specifies crossing of genetic material, like flowers prefer cross pollination, that's why it carries nectar and colours to attract bees.
The problem is that science unable to define life. But one thing is for sure. All life is cellular. (Virus can complete its life-cycle by only attaching to a cell host.) Why is that? The cell membrane is a barrier that creates a nonequilibrium between the inside and outside of the cell to generate energy. With out the cell, life is pretty non-existent. You seem to implicate that information carrying mechanism (RNA like mechanism) evolved first. What was the purpose of this information carrying device, if nothing else existed before that? What information was that carrying? Alkaline deep sea vents consist of microscopic cells, though not organic. These structures could have acted as templates for the first cellular life, which somehow became autonomous. Information replicating mechanism like RNA should have come later.

The common denominator of any life is the (often) microscopic cell. In prokaryotic life, the cell membrane is the most important organ. Cell membrane creates an artificial non-equilibrium (to equilibrate is death) to drive protons (proticity is life) across it to generate energy. This energy is used to create organic material, including some information carriers, that aids the cell to replicate. If a cell could increase its surface area unlimitedly (or at least to a vast extent), probably there would have been no need for reproduction. As cells increase in size, the surface area and volume do not usually increase proportionally. The greater the diameter of a single-celled organism, the lower the surface area to volume ratio. In other words, the cell can not increase energy production proportionately to its size. This is the reason why cells are microscopically small. To grow, it has to reproduce. Reproduction requires a blueprint in the form of RNA or DNA. Therefore, I would argue the cell came first and then came the requirement of RNA. Unfortunately, most discourses on abiogenesis start and end with the informatics. Cellular energetics is neglected.
Now I have a feel of what is being discussed. I see what your point is. However, I cannot completely buy your arguments. I agree that when you look back at life now, the common denominator is the cell. But that does not prove that the information carriers evolved after the evolution of cell. This demands a purpose based explanation, like the cell had to pass on information and hence needed a carrier. Which would make the cell intelligent. I hope you see the problem. I agree that non equilibrium thermodynamics was not discussed during this talk. It should be kept in mind that this talk was aimed at a public composed of laymen. This was not a scientific forum, where people assembled had the basic knowledge of energy flow. If they had no clue of energy flow in a closed system (equilibrium), how am I going to show them what energy flow is in open systems (non equilibrium). Meanwhile just to mention that I am aware of non equilibrium thermodynamics, i would mention that i teach that topic at M.Sc. level as part of my profession and it has been a favorite topic of mine. In an hour not every aspect can be addressed. I just tried to give a brief idea of what is the current explanation to this problem. I do agree that energy flow should be discussed to understand this topic in its depth and complexity but not for such popularization talks.
