Thanks for this video man! One my bearings got seized and made the pinion gear fall off and shred the spur gear. All cause 1 stock bearing got some sand or dirt in it. Hope these last longer!

Great video, but why put rubber bearings when metal would be more efficient? (especially for the one in the back, not exposed to any outside dirt)

I've never seen a rear bearing go in out out that easy. Otherwise great vid

You will need to heat the area to about 475 degrees F. That should make it pliable enough to break it loose.

Probably a good idea to use some blue loctite on the screws. Theses motors generate a lot of power and vibration.

Bread press bread into the center hole or grease it will go under the bearing and lift it out. You may need a bolt or something slightly smaller than the center bearing hole to force the bread in at first. A home made mechanics pick dental pic can also work.

I bought some new bearings for my Castle 1515/1Y 2200Kv motor and as one reviewer said, the stock one at the rear is installed into the end cap with a thin layer of glue from the factory. So I made a slice in the glue around the outside edge of the old bearing with an X-acto knife and scraped away as much glue as I could. Then I cleaned the bearing with a blast of contact cleaner to remove as much old grease as possible. Then I put the cap with the embedded bearing into my toaster oven at 400 Deg for about 15 minutes, tapped the cap on a piece of wood and the old bearing came loose. After you clean the surface , it helps to reheat the cap and then press in the new cold bearing using the outer ring of the old bearing and then put the whole thing in the freezer for a few minutes so the cap doesn't heat up your new bearing's grease.

I wasn't able to find the info on that motor in our database. Any chance you can pull the bearings out and measure the size? You can go to our website and click the help chat in the bottom right and one of our bearing experts can help you out. Thanks!

Brian Bicz the bearing size for most castle motors is 5X14X5 they look to be the same size as the bearings in the video . I order all my bearings from “fast eddies “ and have not been let down so. For the same price as the replacement bearings from castle I got 10 bearings from “fast eddies “

Wtf I can't get my endbell bearing off i already bought 2 Hobbywing ezrun G2 and no I got 2 endcaps that only have the outer bearing rim can watch my video so you know exactly what I'm looking at, i might buy a tool hopefully it helps because the outside of the cap is smaller than the inside so I can't just stick something in there

This guy put rubber sealed bearings in his motor thats a bad move on his part that rubber will heat up inside that motor and desinagate destroy the motor it will not be a good ending
