Easiest Way To Have More Pothos/ Devil’s Ivy Plant: Water Propagation

  • This is by far, one of the easiest way to propagate Pothos. Once the roots are matured, you can transplants it into soil. For leggy stems, make sure your cutting has at least two nodes; submerge one node while keeping the other above water.     Additional tip: You don’t need to change the water, just fill it up. Only change the water when there are visible signs of colour change or murky looking. As the plant sits in the water, it will adjust to the microclimate that’s slowly building up ‘in the water’. If you like, you can continue to keep it in water. This is called hydroponic.
