Alocasia Amazonica, also known as Alocasia Polly or African mask plant. This plant is famous for its striking dark green leaves with bold, white veins that give it a dramatic jungle-like vibe. Whether you're a seasoned plant parent or just starting your indoor garden, this plant is quite a must-have!
To keep your Polly thriving, let it dry out between waterings. If you're keeping it indoor like me, it only needs a good thorough watering every 10 days or so.
Remember to reduce or increase your watering depending on the season, and how much light you give it. Mine gets about an hour of direct light and away from the window. It is also North facing, meaning it gets all that ambient indirectly light throughout the day.
*Choose the right pot:* Go for one that's just a bit larger than the current pot to avoid overwatering.
