Should guys go into nursing? I definitely want to get in ASAP. Does school matter where you get your BSN? And lastly, do you think getting your ADN then working while you get your BSN is smart?
Very smart! I was an ASN nurse and was charge and when I got my BSN I got promoted.
Guys should totally go into nursing! To be honest a lot of places pay you more bc you’re a male nurse. It doesn’t matter where you get your education just as long as you get it. But a lot of nurses get their adn then go back for bsn. Make sure your area hires adn’s and if they do then cool. Then check and see if your hospital has a program that pays you to go back and get your bsn.

Depends on what I’m tryna accomplish. I know toward Christmas time I pick up extra. Now that I starting my business up I’m picking up extra. So currently I work 8/9 days out of a pay period

Hey Carle I love your channel, but is COVID not bad in your hospital? I noticed you don't change out your clothes and shoes before entering your home anymore.
We have them separated. So I’m not on that side of the hospital any more. I’m on the main side. And as charge I rarely have any interaction with me patients. Here lately all I’ve been assigned to do is charge or assist the charge. That’s about it
Do you have to have a bachelor's degree to work as charge nurse?
