Love your videos as usual Joe, thanks man! recently bought a B14 because in part of the series you've put out on each of yours, couldn't believe how good your out of the box B14 shoots! I've been out of the airgun seen for a little while but appreciate the support you gave me on my scope stickers too. Glad you're still shooting and having fun, youre the best man, enjoy
Hi, when you did the ‘summary’ of the targets, I wished you had displayed the group sizes and how you measured them. There was a lot of data in about 30 seconds. The B14R seemed to throw the first shot in each group, then settle down and shoot really tight. The CZ didn’t seem to do that. The two rifles, level playing field identifies rifle quirks and the differences between the ammunition grades. In the future you’ll save me a ton of money not duplicating your testing. I appreciate your effort shooting these videos, that ammunition wasn’t cheap, neither is your time.
@@CyclopsJoeVideos Every rimfire rifle I've owned or shot shoots better if the bore is seasoned after changing ammo. Both of those rifles would be wonderful to own. Either one, but YOU have both. I don't envy you, but it IS tempting to do so.
I feel blessed. I have a Ruger 77/22 bolt action suppressed. The barrel was cut off to 7 inches (to reduce velocity) and the baffle system/bull barrel was press fit onto the barrel. I recently shot a .512 group at 50 yards with cheap ass Winchester Dynapoint ammo.
“And just my luck, it likes the most expensive shit you can shoot out of it.” Combined with your reaction you had me crying I was laughing so hard. Maybe its just late but that’s the funniest shit I’ve ever heard about a gun. 😂🤣😂
Another Great Video Joe. Yr video's are becoming so slick in their production. Really Great Work & always interested in seeing the cz 457 & how it stacks up against other fine rifles in this caliber. 👍👍
WOW nice rifles and nice shooting. I have been afraid of the Bergara because of the ejection issues I have seen and heard of thanks for sharing that tid bit of information.
Awesome Video! As a NRA firearms instructor as impressive is with your shooting I must say that I appreciate your respect for range safety. I have the CZ 457 American 22 WMR . I use it for hogs & coyotes & at 100 yds it's just as accurate as if it was 50. I don't see many video's on WMR's ( 22 mag ) , it is a great caliber.
Yes, it is Ken! I want a CZ SEMI AUTO 20- or 22"-barrel .22 Magnum. Joe shoots damn good for a one-eyed jack don't he !
Nice video and thanks for the work you put into this! One suggestion I'd have is, when you switch ammo on each gun, give it one round or two to refoul the barrel. I don't know if you have noticed. Several times after you switched ammo, the first one shot (sometimes the first two) strayed away from the rest of the group and made the group size considerably larger. It happened on both rifles. If you account for that, the actual group size should be a lot smaller for a few ammos.
Been trying hard to get into 22lr BR for about a year now but things keep getting in my way. One thing (of many) I was told by guys who are successful seasoned veterans of competing in various different 22lr rifle competitive disciplines is if absolute maximum accuracy is your goal that you need to shoot a minimum of 15-20 rounds of any 22lr ammunition (but absolutely must if shooting quality especially very high quality 22lr match ammo) PRIOR to shooting it in competition in order to as they called it "season and settle down" your barrel to that specific 22lr ammo ESPECIALLY match grade ammo before you can even begin to achieve your maximum accuracy potential from any 22lr rifle and ammunition combination I was told you will likely not achieve your rifles maximum accuracy potential by jumping from ammunition type to ammunition type be it a different ammo or same ammo but different lot# without first seasoning your barrel to that ammo. I tried this out with my T1X and CZ 452 American using quality match grade ammo like RWS R50, Eley 10x, Eley Match and SK Rifle Match and even several lesser but still higher grades of ammo and it proved to be absolutely true with all of them. I never got as good of groups with any ammo in my first three 5 shot 50 yard groups as I did with my 4th 5th or 6th 50 yard groups Same when I shot a 50 yard card if I didn't first season my barrel to any particular ammo my first 25 bull target was never near as good as my second. Something you must consider if you wish to perform a successful ammunition evaluation and not end up wasting time and very costly 22lr ammunition

Thanks for the Eley comparison. I have the B14r. I've found that any target gun needs a few rounds to acclimate to a new ammo. You could probably call the first shot or 2, flyers? Maybe not a big deal using different examples in the same brand. But certainly when comparing different name brands.

Nice shooting
good shootin old timer!
So I've been looking at both of those rifles for the past 2 weeks. Both cost about the same.
Overall which one do you think is better?
The CZ . No doubt , the BERGARA looks better . But is a pain in the azz
Well done 👍
Thank You
Just for the heck of it try some high velocity rounds different combinations.
I have both as well, I'll take my cz over the bergara.. but if I really want to shoot tiny groups with a 22 I grab the Kidd 10/22
With all that specialty ammo you should throw in some CCI for comparison like Who Tee Who does. Blazer did best through his bergara beat eley ammo
I will next time
All this rimfire is killing me. Always wanted a 22mag. Hmm
Hey Joe, what poundage are your triggers set at?
Both are set at about 1.5 lbs
That Eley Tenex from the CZ 457...Masterful group, from a Badass platform. Are you using a bore snake or extended rods with patches to clean the barrels?
Bore snake
Awesome video
Thank You
Great video. Based on the number of views and comments. Tack driver rimfire is pretty popular content.
And fun to make !!
