Another fantastic demonstration of working with layers. Something I’m still working on mastering, so more on this subject would be great! And while you mentioned the use of the Photographer’s Ephemeris and PhotoPills, I would especially love to see how these tools are used effectively. So far, I’m finding them cumbersome. Thanks!
@@SergeRamelliPhotography I'm going through your landscape course and you explained how to use Photopils to plan sunset. If you can do more Photopils tutorials that would be great. When you explain things they become crystal clear!
Nice work, i was receving your e-mail for long and i didnt gave importance, but today, it was the day and I get surprised, very nice work, for sure I will Fallow you.
That Moon composite at the end should be illegal. The Moon does not move in a curve like that 🙈 Just timelapse the Moonrise and blend the layers without having to move them in PS
A great tutorial, I always struggle to get detail and scenery, either one is dark or the other. How much can Photoshop elements do? As that is what I have, and lightroom 3.6
do you have any color grading tutorials? where you dont use any presets? Would be cool to see that. Also, when you create presets for colors, do you do it in an external program? or is it all done in lightroom.
Serge, the size of the moon (and also the sun) is ALWAYS the same. Its only our brain that makes the diffference. You can permanently hide the moon with the nail of your 5th! finger. No matter if the moon in near horizon on high up in the skies. Try it!
I have never watched a TH-cam video that has explained how to get awesome moon photos like this video. Thank you so much, absolutely fantastic.
merci Serge
thank you Serge for the tutorial on the moon. I be giving this a try latter in the week
Awesome enjoy ;-)

Thanks for the tutorial, will be using what I leaned very soon. You mentioned a Photographer's Ephemeris tool, can I get that anywhere?
Wonderful tutorial, I was wondering how to draw the path of moon, but I can’t use Photoshop (I should learn..) )))
Perfect that sounds good! ;-)
Serge Ramelli Photography i (almost) always use your presets and follow your tutorials ))
A great tutorial, I always struggle to get detail and scenery, either one is dark or the other. How much can Photoshop elements do? As that is what I have, and lightroom 3.6
Well follow my tutorial on my channel and you can learn how you use lightroom to improve details with radial circles and brushes

Here is a video without presets, it’s a older one but a good one th-cam.com/video/MaLELeXtI24/w-d-xo.html also I do make the presets in Lightroom :-)
Serge, can you drop the location of the moon photo? I’d like to get a couple shots of the skyline as well
From the observatory at the Griffith park in Los Angeles ;-)
