I love the way you teach. Your classes are so easy to understand. I never stop learning with you. Please never stop, you help more people then you can ever guess or believe. It took you to get me bàck into taking pictures. Thank you so much. Emma

The new format is great, showing how a shooting looks like, framing and the view before pressing the trigger. The only "downside" that I see, is that the colors are too much saturated in situations where it shouldn't. I also like to saturate colors, but after a while, I go back and reduce the overall saturation. Thank you for showing the steps behind taking a picture ! Please share more

As we are stucked I can take time to watch all the courses and working on it - I take notes and many things becomes more clear for me now. I work nearly 4 hours per day and it's such a great time for me. learning is one of the best thing in the world. Thank you again for your energy you are such a great man and great teacher. Merci Serge. I find this format awesome because it combines in one video most of the difficulties we face when out in the field.
I started taking up photography and landscape photography just over a year ago and thought, looking at pictures of professional photographer, that they just had to arrive somewhere and that the magic would happen. But, now, with a little more experience, I realise pro are faced with the same challenges as us. The difference is they know what to look for, what to do. That is why I love video on the field. Keep up the good work.

What an excellent video showing the importance of exposing for the highlights and compositional importance while visualizing the end result. I bet you can see the end product in your mind's eye as you approach the shot. Please do more of these excellent landscape tutorials as the land affects the light in so many ways within one large framed shot. (Light reflections, diffusion, clouds, mist, between hills, back lit subjects and side lighting for textures.) Thank you Serge!!!

I really like the behind the scenes of how you shot the photo before going to Lightroom. It helps me to understand what makes a great composition in landscapes and what to look for, such as where sun is, or horizon or leading lines etc.

Hi Serge, thanks for another great video. So far your tutorials, and i have bought many have really helped my work evolve. One of the main things is that i now take less photographs as i understand more of what works and what doesn't rather than just clicking away and trying to decide in post.

You out-did your production level which is always at a high level. A quick recommendation: I know why you exposed for the highlights and did the focus stacking but on TH-cam the sense of composition was less impactful because most was in darkness. You make up for it in post processing but it would have been good to see in the field also. What I love is you are so disciplined in your workflow. Having said this I enjoyed this video more than anything else I have seen this week. It inspired me to be more stingy about finding good foreground. Love the episode.

I concede that Serge knows editing inside out, but... unless his style of editing is to make a picture look like a painting from the psychedelic era of the early 1960s to the mid-1970s then it is a great edit. For example, in one of the pictures his friend looks like a ripe tomato. I suppose that there is room for this style of editing but not for me.

Hello Serge, thank you for the video and the tutorials. I really don't understand why you go all the way down with highlights and up with the shadows. All the photos turn out to look like HDR and totally unnatural to my eye. But it's all a matter of taste I guess.
