Awesome video! So simple and without extra unnecessary information. I appreciate for not making any cuts throughout the video so there’s a better understanding of the work being done!

Thanks for that video, 650 v2 is not timed properly, now it will be much easier.

Glad to have helped! There is always something breaking at my house that I can film the repair! Almost a full time job haha.

Excellent work and very well explained, I’m about to do a crankshaft replacement and this will help me a lot!! Did you end up replacing pistons and rings?

Thank you for the response. This was not one of my better videos and almost didn’t post it.
I only did the pull rope and a carb cleaning on this one.

My apologies for mixing up my answers. I did replace the pistons but did replace piston rings while I was in there. I lightly honed the cylinders and removed the carbon build up at the top. Good luck to you!

Good Helpful video but didn't you turn the engine over the wrong direction when you went 280?

I’ve been looking everywhere but I can’t find my answer. The pin that you are working on at 21:23 is the pin the holds the timing chain guide that guides the cam chain that goes up the rear cylinder to the cam. My guide is chewed up and need to be replace but I can’t figure out how to get it off. I can’t find the answer online anywhere

It’s been so long, I wish I could remember that part.
Have you tried to download a service manual? I was able to get one off the Kawasaki Teryx Forum from a member for free.
      It was a downloadable PDF.

Question: When I installed the intermediate chain, it was tight, tight, tight. It seems as though there was slack on your chain that the tensioner took up. If my chain is so tight ,should this be a concern ?
