I used Kawasaki brand for all with the exception of 1 or 2 things they did not have available. I just didn't want to risk it and get something that wasn't up to the Kawasaki standards. I figured that if i go with all kawasaki products that they should work just fine since it was designed for them specifically.

Hey Max. What happened to your Brute force that you need it rebuild? Im happy to help in any way but im sure you could find someone local that's good and is reliable. Parts are very hard to get now day. This was done a while a go and i believe i spent around $1000 or close to it in parts. Im sure prices have gone up since then. If you like we can talk. send me your email address or number and ill reach out. Sometimes is not the big stuff that gets you but all the small stuff like bearings, gaskets and other little random stuff that you don't think you will need.

Sorry I've been crazy busy and I'm just now catching up with all of my messages. My GPS shows 9 hrs and 5 minutes. I'm sure you could do it yourself if you have the tools and a manual but ill help with what I can.
I dont remember sorry it was a while ago. the first thing i always do is google a free one and print the pages i need. if that doesn't work i ask a fried on a facebook group. If not i just buy one from ebay
You have to compress the tensioner all the way then you slide a small wire to hold it in place. Once you do that install the tensioner and remove that wire. Once the wire is removed the tensioner will automatically adjust. Hope that answers it for you.
@@awences1 yeah sorry. shortly after making my previous question. I had realized the cylindars were accidentally switched around. I have the motor back together now. however the exhaust valves had gotten stuck in the front head. so that will be another week of waiting
Great video series on this! Just three comments: 1. I noticed you had dog hair on your gloves when you were into the insides and touching those needle bearings. Hopefully you clean everything out real well before sealing it up? Dog hair is murder on some of those bearings. 2. These bikes call for jaso ma oil whether you choose to run dino or syn, even on break-in oil. I think that stuff you used had friction modifiers in it. 3. The slight delay in time between throttle and when the tires moved was due to a fairly loose belt. I would tighten it up a bit. Again, great video and nice work!

A lot of times I end up having to re film things because I forget to hit the record button so sometimes I just run through things quickly. Are you referring to the engine case? If so from my understanding both have to be bought together since they are machined as a set. If you use two different cases it could be problematic.
@@awences1 I think they said it’s called the crankcase, the problem I got on my 2015 brute force is that the bolts that hold the belt cover got stuck in the thread only the heads came out a shop was only able to get 5 out the 8
Not sure why that happen. A lot of action cameras are pretty bad with sound and it doesn't help that mine is an older model. So it could have been that.

Where did you source the manual from? I just bought a brute in a million pieces as a winter project.

how did you put the bottom chain tensioner on the front head? the slide on my 750 will not move, so I can not put the tensioner in.
