Hi. Nice informative video. I am looking to put Eibach lowering springs on 911 to drop it by maybe 15-20mm. When researching the topic there is quite a lot of opinions that lowering springs alone would alter suspension geometry and prematurely wear shocks. What is your opinion on this, please?
Hi, with the Eibach springs you can’t go wrong as they work so closely with the original manufacturer. It’s really important to get a full 4 wheel alignment done after altering any suspension component in order to make sure that the car handles correctly and nothing will wear prematurely. I hope this helps. Please feel free to give our team a call if you’re looking for more detailed advice on the springs.
Not related to lowering springs (though I've installed them in vehicles). Years ago, i purchased a body kit for a Ford Sierra RS 500 from Demon Tweeks imported to the states!
Hi there. Im looking to lower my car with 45/45 (app). What is the rule in terms of load in the car? Do i still go by the information which are given by the factory?
I have a Alfa 159 and I DONT want the nose down, becasue there is allready too much nose down, so what kit do you recommend for me, for the lowering about 3cm
Hi, around a week ago I had a set of eibach pro kit springs installed onto my 2020 audi a6 sport. After installation one spring is sitting around 25mm higher than the other springs. I took it back to the garage who installed the springs and they confirmed the springs have been installed correctly. The garage mentioned the spring should settle after a few more weeks and more driving. Can I expect the spring to settle or is there some else that needs to be looked at? Thanks
Hi, the springs can settle after fitting but not normally by 25mm, Eibach themselves, max up to 10mm. The first thing to do is make sure that all of the parts in the kit are correct, so the spring part numbers will need to be checked, you’ll need to look at the numbers marked on the springs themselves. Then some measurements would need to be taken from the car. Our customer service team will help you to follow up on this so please do get in touch with them on customerservices@demon-tweeks.com or 01978 663000.
I recently bought pro kit on my 2012 mini cooper r56..i drive daily mostly 95% straight line. Since eibach is a 1.2 inches drop, do i need to shave the bump stops by 1 inch feont and rear? I am from Toronto..thanks❤🍁
Hi, I recently brought a set of eibach pro kit lowering springs for my 2020 A6 sport and had them installed by a local garage. After installation one spring is sitting around 20mm higher than the other 3. I took it back to the garage and they confirmed the springs have been installed correctly. Will this spring settle after some time and more driving? Or is there something else wrong? For reference is has only been a week since the new springs have gone on. Thanks
Yes I have a few question? 1. Why do you have to lose ride Quality when you get pro kit springs and shocks/struts? 2. I have pro kit with the eibach shocks/struts and bumps or a lot of bumps it rides really harsh??? 3. Can the harsh ride be fixed ? 4. I’ve been a hot rodder for 40 years I feel you shouldn’t have to compromise ride quality just to lower your car even if it’s 1 inch, 2 inches or 2 1/2 inches the ride quality should be the same as stock. Why are Lowering springs so harsh? 5. Why can’t the spring rate be the same as stock for a stock ride. Especially with the pro kit 1.1 front and 1.3 back? That would be so cool that you can ride down any street with no worries!!! HELP us Hot Rodder out we want a stock ride even sitting low.
Great questions. I'd like to have answers to the same questions. I have a touring car and only want the suspension tightened a small amount without meaningfully sacrificing ride quality. I want to be able to drive from Los Angeles to Las Vegas without feeling exhausted from an overly stiff suspension. My hope is the Pro Kit will deliver better performance without sacrificing ride quality.
I am looking to change the front coils I want to raise the front but not by too much cos we have bad bumpy road in our area I have stock Kia ceed 2016 coils and they have been damaged when I hit a bad ramp, what would be the best coils to buy, My budget is around £170,, thanks
You could take a look at a lift kit from Bilstein, but you may struggle to find one for your car specifically. Our sales team would be happy to help! Please feel free to call on 01978 664555
What is the best thing I can do to get a better quality ride from my pro kit with shocks and strut? It ride really really bad over bumps and bumpy roads and imperfections on the road. It only lowered 1.1 f and 1.3 b why is the ride quality sooooo bad ? I emailed eibach and they said the shop that did it should’ve fix the camber that why the ride is bad. I told them that had nothing to do with that . Pleeeeease help
Hi there, looking to upgrade my stock suspension. Torn between the Eibach pro, H&R kit, or the vogtland club lowering kit you have. Any suggestions? I have a Mini Cooper S R56 with a JCW kit that I hill climb and use also as a daily driver. Not too fussed about how the springs will affect the ride comfort as I just want to get the most out of the car. Thanks. (I’ll also be buying shocks for the if I don’t buy a full kit)
Hey Dan, It can depend on which vehicle the manufacturer had and the axle weights, they all make decent kits, the difference really will be lowering amount and if they do a kit for the given axle weights/model combo. Best to check the website for that info or better yet, drop our sales team a call as they'll be able to give you the best advice. All great options though for sure!

How long does the pro kit take to settle to final height ?
Hi, What is your most recommended ;lowering spring for my 2015 Volkswagen Polo. i wanted it to lower. its my daily ride to work and home
Hi, does this mean these springs will work for the advertised car to be aligned to the OEM spec with no changes to camber bolts/plates?
whenever you're changing the geometry of your car it's always worth getting an alignment afterwards
What do you recommend for a 2021 Audi s5. Sportline?
Is the red line based on the pro kit or the sports line?
Thank you VERY well explained.

Why do the pro kits tend to lower the rear more than the front? I have a tesla model y with the pro kit

I assume that by now, troubleshooting has been completed and the issue was resolved. Can you explain what the problem was and how it was fixed?

Most experts' opinion is that lowering springs are NOT the good choice - Coil-overs ARE the RIGHT choice. Isn't it ???
