- A teenager was shot multiple times while selling water along I-285 Thursday afternoon in College Park, police said. According to investigators, four 17-year-old boys were selling bottles of water on the I-285N exit ramp to Old National Highway when they were encountered by two male suspects in a white four-door sedan. "The occupants of the white sedan approached the teens, brandished firearms, and proceeded to open fire," Lieutenant O. Manning with College Park Police stated in a news release. MORE: bit.ly/3qV2qCh

Criminals don’t fear the light of day nor justice nowadays.
Yeah in Houston the other day someone was literally ramming into a cop’s car after being caught doing donuts at a parking lot in a Camaro. They guy was pinned on all sides and had guns pointed at him, and yet he was still trying to get away. I was surprised the cops didn’t even shoot him. Sad what this country has become nowadays!!
@@frankm4906 foreal a couple years ago a cop pulled someone over on the freeway, and someone driving decided to swipe the cop that was writing the ticket. He laughed about it in the holding tank.

These “kids” selling water are sometimes worse than peddlers in poor countries. They can be mean, forceful and sometimes use tap water in those bottles. I’m surprised they’re still allowed to do this. They’ve been told so many times before to stop. Hope this scares them enough to stop doing this!

When I worked DC, at a stop light these peoplevwould have a rag and start washing your windshield, if you tried to stop them or not pay them, they could get pretty aggressive. Smearing dirt was irritating

You have to wait two weeks with a real job. Then you smoke it up in 2-3 days and your back to credit. Easier to get pad every hour and stay high. Think past the MSNBC talking points.

It practically sells its self. Cars will be honking to buy it and it’ll sell out faster than the water thus getting the kids off the road much quicker.
These kids are nothing but trouble to begin with, they run up to every car that is stopped at a light and harass them to buy water. In this case they run up on the wrong car, if someone runs up on me in a car last thing i am expecting is to buy a bottle of water for $5

@@synthdave1158 It's aggressive salesmanship. It might annoy some people but I wouldn't demonize people for it. Politicians trespass & put signs in our yards, and charity organizations completely stop u & ask u to literally give them money. I can deal with people approaching me with water for sale.
@@PraiseParis And thats fine that you can deal with that, but other people have higher levels of security, they value the assets in their vehicle (themselves, children, wives, etc) at a higher level, and given the nature of the area in general and the activity that occurs when a car is run up on in said area.... they might not want to take the gamble of is it a water boy or the end of my life.... In an area like this, running up on someone's car can be a death wish no matter the intention, notably because instances of it happening in the past resulted in the death of the vehicle occupants.

A man was shot, in Atlanta, in August, after refusing to buy water from shakedown hustlers like this. I don't know what led to this kid getting shot, I'm not saying it's justified, and I hope he recovers, but this behavior, basically extorting people into giving them money, was bound to result in something like this. Maybe they'll learn their lesson.

It looked like they are doing more than standing on the roadside selling water. It looked more like they had positioned themselves at a choke point in traffic and going out into the road to approach the drivers trapped in their cars. It looked more like a carjacking about to go down.
