    PocketGo vs LDK:
    PocketGo:
    + better build quality
    + better LR buttons
    + awesome static screen quality
    + tempered glass screen
    + price
    - screen tearing
    - it's not easy to replace battery
    - mono sound
    LDK Landscape:
+ bigger screen with no tearing
    + stereo sound
+ better dpad and abxy buttons
+ analog stick (mapped to dpad)
+ nice access to battery and internal memory card
    - a bit darker screen than pocketgo
    - price at this moment
    - plastic screen (need screen protector)
    - not working TV Out at this moment
If I remember correctly PocketGo has single-core 900mhz CPU and 32MB RAM while LDK has dual-core up to 740mhz dual-core CPU with 128MB RAM
Both consoles can run about 4 hours on battery but it's easy to get and replace spare batteries on LDK

Elliot just wanna say you do a great job on these and its nice that you take so much feedback from fans. Just a suggestion, but you could do a sort of "playability guide" for these consoles. I think most of us who watch these videos wanna know exactly what these consoles can and can't do, so showing off a catalogue of games with easy and hard to emulate games would be super helpful. Like maybe show 5-6 games for the main consoles (NES, SNES, megadrive, gbc, gba, PS1, mame, neogeo).

Would you consider making a video comparing multiple devices with details on edge cases like yoshi's island, F-zero, and starwing. You haven't really showed sound rendering issues in this video, you should also take that into account in your future videos. I liked that you constantly compared the two systems. It better illustrates the limitations of each one than a simple review. Good job.

    Pros Vs pocketgo
    + Analog stick

    + Replaceable Battery
+ Dual micro SD card slots
    + Less screen tearing
    Cons Vs pocketgo
    - microswitches on L1/R1 are a little clicky.
    - still image is rough due to pixel shape.

The layout of SNES button colours is inaccurate... On the SNES it's A = Red, B = Yellow, X = Blue and Y = Green, but only the A button matches it in the LDK Game, they've put the Blue button on B, the Green on X and the Yellow on Y... I mean, you can probably fix it if you open it up and change the buttons around but still...

I might have to go with LDK. Solely for the fact that NES emulation wasn't botched and SNES emulation is a tad better.
Given, I still have my hacked psp 3000, but I've been meaning to retire that for a while now since SNES and GBA emulation on the psp are a hit and miss. Especially the GBA since the sound emulation tends to either sound weird, desync (very noticeable in pokemon) or both.

The retro flag really isn’t difficult, so I hope that doesn’t discourage anyone. The super retropie page on Facebook has an image on there with all the necessary scripts for the GPi. All you have to do is add in your network and on the allotted ssh file and flash the image to an sd. Everything from then on is just drag and drop. I personally think it’s better to spend a little more on the GPi if you can get your hands on it. No screen tearing and the build quality is far better.

@@stupidpanda8157 you just have to replace the existing kernel file with the new one. its very easy. it looks way better than before. it was just a problem with the video output software.
both handhelds are in a very early state of fixing history. so there will be coming a lot of fixes and custom firmwares in the future.
I finally picked the pocket go because the screen looks way better. the small IPS-Panel image is popping clear.

That LDK landscape is worse than the previous LDK because it has a slower CPU. It takes a CPU JZ4760 that goes to 528mhz, the maximum that reaches are the 620mhz with overclocking. The previous LDK has a JZ4760B CPU that reaches a maximum speed of 720mhz. Mine has reached 704mhz.
