The sensors attached to the throttle body (4 I think) can present symptoms of poor fuel flow. I thought I had a bad filter but turned out one of those sensors... Sorry I forget which but another utuber did a brilliant cause & effect for them & how to tell.🤗
It’s been a while since this video, but I’m running out of things to check on my ‘95 YJ, it was running fine, one morning jumó on it to go to work, and it cranked but wouldn’t start, notice spark plug wires were in not very good condition, went to get new plugs, wires, cap and rotor, replaced them, and still wouldn’t run, ok, and not getting spark from the coil, put a new one, and nothing, next, crank position sensor, no… wasn’t that, now got a new map, and nothing. Any idea?
@@jsmeswagner6104 Yeah buddy that’s exactly what I was talking bout. Why I didn’t search Arizona/eBay first .. I don’t know. But thanks for the tip budd 👍
I don't advise pumping fuel into a plastic bottle. Some plastic bottles will turn to nothing and you'll wonder where the bottom of the container went, but you'll definitely know where the fuel went.
Jumping the fuel pump is exactly what I needed to see today! This will help trouble shoot some issues with my YJ!
Recently found your channel. Great videos! I just bought a 93 yj. Dead 1 cylinder...I’ll be beginning my rebuilt project soon.
Ironworker Doug here; thanks for sharing well executed, very informative!!!

Love the new intro. You looked 18 in a few of the shots. Lol
Someday do a breakdown of the bits o video in your intro 🤔
I like this idea
I don't think my fuel pump's turning on so it's already brand new. What towels the relay to turn on and off pressure wise?
Does the 2.5l 4 cylinder have a Schrader valve? I need to test my fuel pump too.

Does fuel flow matter if the fuel pressure is always at the right amount? My pressure is always at 31 PSI but my flow isn't as good as Dale's here...
I want to check out service a serna
Anyone have any tips for fixing/replacement/patching frame holes in a yj ?
EBay has the plates for 27 bucks

Mine is running at 70psi. ??? Thinking the return line-any tips?
Does your YJ deal with heat soak aka vapor locking ?
you took off your air compreser for air conditioner was that perminent or just spark plug access?
This did not have ac. Some models don’t. The bracket is there because it still mounts a pulley. They use the same parts for multiple models.
Do you have to do the bypass on the fuel pump relay? Can you just turn on the car?
With the car on, the fuel pump does not run continuously. It turns on and off depending on pressure
@JeepSolid can I use a paper clip or does it have to be copper wire 🤔
