I’m aces high armed commander from Guam and yes when we used to be called lucky 4 drill team , they took some of our moves . Like the melt that they did that was from us when we do our eyes right .
does anyone know what they were saying when they were entering the stage? and if you do, can you tell me what they were saying and the commanders cadence also. thanks
@rajahout808 I find this funny because from what I've heard one of the top drillers on KG is from New York. and The last time I check, if you love drill , they don't care about if your are of asian descent or a foreigner.
Hmmm, i just viewed the video right now... The Lucky 4 Drill team indeed have some of the stuff even my team, The Silver Eagles has. I think you may have a point that The Kings Guard took their stuff... I never knew of that drill team.
Many people think they know about how JROTC/ROTC drill teams got thier start and talk about how performances and drill styles, by the way it was long before Guam or Kings Guard. Texas A&M has a very long history from as early as the 1920's. Mid 70's and 80's the most winning and proficient Drill Team even by these stansards were UT Arlington Sam Houston Rifle Drill Team will easily match today's King's Guard, I should know Iwas a member in 1982. maybe ya'll should do somemore research
Little do people know that the JROTC Rifle Drill Team in the 70's and 80's were dominated by team sent from Guam. All the moves here had been copied from Washington HS Lucky 4 Drill Team, and GCC Green Beret Drill Team. Before Guam... all Hawaii had before they invited Guam was the ripple line, marching and single spins. The dynamic crisp movement, rifle visual design and different formation was indicative of Lucky 4, and of Green Berets. Hawaii never perfected the aerial toss. That's all Guam.
@SoldatenArvidsjaur23 I agree. I want to go so bad and hearing something things about Hawaii, I wisht that it didn't become a state, but more like what puerto rico is.
