Also, if anyone missed my top 18 favorites from this video, here they are yet again: 1. Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training for Nintendo Switch (I love me some Brain Age type of games. Although I was surprised back then that this franchise ended up on the Switch of all places, even though I feel it works best on a handheld like the Nintendo DS than a home console like the Switch. But that's just me.) 2. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 3. Super Kirby Clash 4. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Absolutely love the ambiance, the wind howling, and the grass being blown by the wind. Absolutely beautiful to listen to if I left that channel on for say a good 6 hours or so.) 5. Animal Crossing: New Horizons (Pretty much the same as number 4, albeit has the waves and guitar playing here and there.) 6, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (That title song plays in my head from time to time) 7, Tetris 99 (1 vs. 99 players) (A person that has played this game time and time again, and it never gets old. Used to play it through a social media website, the extension, or even the original games. It's just that I haven't played Tetris in a very long time.) 8. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity (This one gives me the same feelings I have when seeing the Ju-On The Grudge Wii disc channel intro.) 9. New Pokemon Snap (Simple, straight to the point, and the music ends just perfectly. Although I did check and music, if you don't hit the start button on the wii disc channel, will continue to loop for as long as you let it play. Brunswick Pro Bowling is a good example of music continuously playing and not fading out at all.) 10. Ring Fit Adventure (Love the wii disc channel music, but I wouldn't bother playing the game outright.) 11. Anton Retro (As always from a channel whom loves to insert his/her own channel into the video to end it outright.) 12. Pokemon Quest (Giving me those Bit.Trip.Beat vibes from the Wiiware game of the same name....Very cool, but I sure wouldn't play it once or never.) 13. Mario Strikers: Battle League (Much like number 10, I like the Wii disc channel intro music, but wouldn't bother playing the game at all.) 14. Metroid Dread (Was very close to being the one similar to Ju-On The Grudge's Wii disc intro, but unfortunately it got beaten by 15. Jump Rope Challenge (Much like New Pokemon Snap, simple and straight to the point, you get the idea.) 16. The Stretchers (Absolutely love the Wii disc channel intro. Reminds me a lot of Moving Out and Overcooked All You Can Eat series of games. Definitely love the noise it makes.) 17. Pokken Tournament DX (Definitely like the music, but the fade out feels a bit cut off I would say. Still though, definitely gets you pumped up every time you turn this one on.) 18. Kirby's Return To DreamLand Deluxe (Pretty much similar to the Nintendo Wii's opening two consoles ago.) 19. Warioware: Get It Together (Definitely love me some Warioware, although the music doesn't fade out well from when the person pressed start on the channel.) 20. Game Builder Garage (Definitely like the Wii disc channel intro music, just not the game. Although I have not tried it as of yet.) 21. Cadence of Hyrule (Similar to Animal Crossing: New Horizon's Wii disc channel intro, but sounds like a lullaby to me. Which is very nice for those whom need to sleep to it.) 22. Big Brain Academy: Brain Vs. Brain (Definitely a game I also love as much as the Brain Age series, albeit it on a console and it fits the Wii vibe very well.) Switch game Wii disc channel intros that I found to be perfect: Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Super Mario Maker 2, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Nice fade out), Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Super Mario RPG (Fades out pretty well, after a couple of listens as well), Good Job!, New Pokemon Snap, Super Mario 3D All Stars, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX, Super Kirby Clash, Jump Rope Challenge, Pokemon: Let's Go Pikachu!/Let's Go Eevee!, Anton Retro. Backstory: I came across this video in my recommendations back on August 1st, 2023, and I figured "I might as well watch it and see how it goes." And it turns out, I loved it as much as you guys did. However, what I did notice was that there was absolutely no comment ANYWHERE on this video's comment section where someone did ALL of the timepoints of each Nintendo Switch game's Wii disc channel intro. So I was responding to a few comments here and there until a person named kristopher brought this comment up, quote: "@kristopherhayes1957 4 days ago (edited) (August 1st, 2023) "What time was the splatoon 2 preview?" And when I looked at that comment, I realized, you know, maybe I should make one myself. Instead of replying to kristopher and giving him the exact timepoint for the Splatoon 2 wii disc channel preview, I'd figured I might as well have Every Single Nintendo Switch Game Wii Disc Channel Intro get it's timepoint, followed by me choosing which ones are my top 22 PLUS the ones I felt had the perfect intros out of this entire video. So from there I've went through each and every time point, watched the video multitude of times to make sure I had everything right. Sure enough, once I got all the timepoints right, I posted the comment and waited a few days. From there the channel uploader, Anton, loved my comment very much that he hearted and pinned it so this way other people can see it. And also, pretty much the responses I have here are duplicates or remakes of my original comments (Which have now been deleted but the responses thankfully have not. Hopefully the others would have my responses so this way they can copy and paste it into here and into their responses as well to archive mine, not just theirs) that was posted back on August 1st, 2023. However, another user by the name of Pinkie mentioned to me that the timepoint for Pokemon Brillant Diamond was the Same Exact Timepoint as "Box Boy!+Box Girl" Wii disc channel intro. So unfortunately, I did try to edit the previous comment, only to get TH-cam literally giving me a "Returned Error" every time I edited the comment. I guess that once the uploader pins and hearts the comment, well, there's really no way to edit the comment as I like. So sadly, all of my responses including the others on this comment thread were deleted by me and I had to re-do pretty much my top 20+ AND the wii disc channel intros that I felt were the perfect ones. So if anyone had a response here, well, sorry if I deleted your original one. But thankfully I have them archived in a separate document. Again, it was my pleasure to literally make this comment, but it wasn't the first time I've done this. I've been doing these types of comments for a good 6+ years since 2018, and have done comment timepoint reactions for a good decade since 2012. So yeah, overtime it got to the point where I felt people just need to get to a certain timepoint in the video, just so they don't have to skim through the video and hit the left arrow, J key to go back and watch it repeatedly. And yes, I know about the "Your" and "You're" thing, you don't have to ask me again because I've already explained that from one of the responses I've made to XGamer123. Considering how "Your" and "You're" are interchangeable, "You're" is used for when you are complimenting someone's thank you to you, or basically an action. "Your" on the other hand is usually used as a kind speech ending when you open the door for someone, or carry something for them when their arms/hands are full of items to carry any more than what they can, or simply just helping other people out. So I understand the "You're" would have made sense, but what "You're Welcome" would have translated to "You are welcome." Which would have sounded stranger compared to saying "Your Welcome" which to me makes more sense than the previous one I've mentioned....Anyway, as much as I would love to make paragraphs of comments, I have other videos to catch up on and watch. Considering this guy does a lot of hacks for 3DS and other consoles, this one may be the only video I like out of the bunch. Again, no disrespect to the person, but I feel for me it usually takes a good 5 to 10 videos for me to enjoy the person's content before I subscribe to them. If say I only watch 2 or 3 videos from the person, it just means that I don't like their content very much and just leave. Same thing goes for the livestreams, if after ten or five livestreams I don't like the person's content, then I don't subscribe to them. And if I like the person but they hit a million subscribers, I unsubscribe from them, but I still continue to watch their videos (Saberspark used here as an example). So yeah, your very welcome for me being able to make this comment from 4/5 days ago, and go from there.
@@Nobody.thatyouknow I mean, it's basically a repost of the original that I had to delete because, well, TH-cam gave me a "Return Error" every time I tried to edit the original comment. So yeah, I shouldn't have to do that, but that's comment errors for me...Sometimes it's one of my extensions that may not work properly on this site.
I'm so upset that Nintendo chose to go "corporate minimalist" on their UI. It's so lifeless! Maybe its because the Wii is my favorite console, but this is so charming! Thanks for mocking this up!
Ever since 64DD (failed N64 add-on) the UI has been fun and unique. Then, the switch came. I think it's because of how much they rushed the console so they could forget about Wii U as soon as possiible... Edit: I accidentally spread misinformation
@@MrBIizzard I will say that the lack of folders and dynamic layout is a real shame, but with my previous comment I meant navigating between different areas of the UI such as settings, friends list, eShop etc
I get that it takes a ton of effort to do that alone and it still carries novelty but it doesn’t compare to all the unique music/animations created solely for the channels 😭

I loved the customization of the 3ds. There was the badge arcade which was super creative, the many different themes available, and the ability to change the size of all the game icons! It sucks that its so bland now
I remember I lost interest in the 3DS. But then I got addicted to the Ace Attorney Series. After Trials and Tribulations, I just had to play more. So that’s when my 3DS started getting use again as I played Apollo Justice up to Spirit of Justice. I remember downloading an ace attorney theme because that’s all I used it for. I really hope their next console will have more life in it
But yeah the 2 free daily plays were removed and it was only practice catch plays like from the very beginning but I was able to get 5 plays in the practice catcher during the final week which is something I was never able to do the machine it was on had like 20 badges. Also the themes you could win were removed during the last week and it was just a creepy "Have fun out there!" message I don't think anyone was able to read until then since they've always had themes in circulation
Its crazy how both the Wii and Wii U's UI loading screen were so creative meanwhile the Switch only has the same thumbnail as the PS5/PS4 and has a boring loading screen
All of these soulful menus take me back to a simpler time, these really have each game their own flavor and personality upon clicking their channel! I think Satoru Iwata would be very proud of you for continuing his legacy!
this just makes me wanna learn code so i can add this to my modded switch. this would've added so much flavor and variety to the switch if we had something like this instead of the clean look.
There is a wii switch modded theme but it doesnt look as good as this (no offense). It also doesnt have sound or game previews. It’s definitely possible though.. just a matter of who will do it
Great mock-ups! The only things that could be better would be: 1. The close up animation, it’s not synchronized. 2. The logos some times are too close to the screen, you should make them a little more small. Any way, cool video!!!
4. Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp was developed by WayForward Technologies so you should have had the WayForward logo in place of the Intelligence Systems logo.
Same the home menu on the switch I swear it feels so lifeless imo and I hate that because the Wii and Wii u were great back then even tho the Wii u did fail but at least the menu screen had life to it
@outrightflame4280 Also, no one has mentioned the 3DS home menu, themes, badges, a unique animation for every game, sound effects, and ambient sounds/song
@@kaiyo7285 yeah that was also good and I miss the 3ds themes I wish the Nintendo switch had home menu themes but nope instead it's just nothing just a normal home menu screen
I like the clean UI of the Switch. But I miss the background music in OS and eShop. The silence hurts, especially when wearing ANC headphones. The XBox Series X is also almost silence. Only the PS5 have background music in store and system. I hope the Switch 2 brings that back ...
10:32 Imagine opening up your Wii late at night, with the volume turned down so low that no one in your house can hear you. Then you open up your game, and immediately the whole room erupts into KOWASHITAI That's the alternate universe we could've gotten.
I would absolutely hate that. My parents would then tell me to "Go To Bed!!" in a whispering yelling voice. I then personally wouldn't turn it on for a good while.
All of these are cool! But I feel like these would be more believable if some of the musics stopped after a few seconds. Music in the Wii Menu usually only last for a few seconds before ending with complete silence.
0:00 Nintendo channel sports 0:07 Super Channel Odyssey 0:18 legend of zelda: Tears of the Channel 0:29 Xenoblade Channels 3 0:36 Paper Mario and the Channel King 0:51 Kirby and the forgotten Channel 0:57 The Legend of Zelda: Channel's Awakening
That's what I noticed too. Also, some Wii games would even have the ratings and info about it in the bottom left corner for those whom want straightforward info about the game before they even start it in the first place, just so they know what they're dealing with when playing the game.
I've been in Wii modding for many years, these animations are not impossible to do! Although is not an easy task either, these animations displayed on the Disc Channel are not baked videos but a lot of .png images animated in real time. The group of all the images and the jingle that sounds when you clic on the channel must not exceed 516KB or else the Wii will crash when trying to read the disc
@@Ultipey I'm not sure why though, I guess Wii has assigned 516KB for this task and trying to load a larger file causes an overflow that the Wii can't handle. This limit is not a problem for normal channels tho, it's a thing that only affects Disc Channel, which honestly doesn't make sense because they work pretty much the same, you can even dump a Disc Channel animation and install it on the Wii Menu without any problem
That looks so cool how you edited them! We definitely need a part 2 of this! I'm dying to see what Project Diva: Megamix looks like! Keep up the amazing work as always, you're the best! 💖
@@BlueVestGaming I used to play a lot of Project Diva and Project Mirai when I was into Vocaloid. My interest in it nowadays is not as strong, even though I love Miku with a heavy heart. That's so cool that you own an arcade gamepad of Project Diva!💖
Man, it sucks that you almost missed out on this when nintendo wii was huge back in the mid to late 2000s. Heck, even having the switch console literally have subtle background music like the gamecube one from the early 2000s, or heck, the PS2 menu screen with the waves crashing in the background, would have made it feel so calming you could fall asleep to it with the console left on.
Editing Suggestion: make the zoom effect slower so it is more in sync with the channel going full screen. This video is great, it's just a minor editing flaw. Please make more videos like this, it would be great!
PS3 - Animated Video, music and images background Wii - You are watching a real TV Channel! PS4 - boots the game with the wallpaper videogame Wii U - Image and Music while starting the game PS5 - Same as PS4 Switch - Black screen with console logo I still think that PS3/Wii era was way better than actual gen
5:16 It is actually possible to play all three of those games on an old Wii, because Super Mario 64 was on virtual console, the GameCube backwards compatibility meant that you could play Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy was a Wii game!
DSi icons were also the best thing before the 3DS came along and upgraded them. Heck, during the 2004 and 2006 Nintendo DS, if you didn't have a game inserted into the cartridge slot, or if you prefer to boot up towards the menu screen to select whether you wanted to play the gameboy advance game or the DS game, you would hear the clock ticking in the background. Very neat ambiance if you ask me.
2006 Nintendo: We need to make a great, user friendly, simple yet fun ui that a whole family can understand 2017 Nintendo: We need something for our business cards NOW
I miss the dedicated block being for a physical game. I always found it weird how the games cover art is displayed even if the game isn’t in the system.
Ok they just need to hire you to just to be on the design team for the Switch 2's UI these are too well done also really think Nintendo should re-purpose the character from Doodle Swap as their system helper and stuff like physically giving us the rundown on the next system
Hope that the next Nintendo console is much stronger (and especially has a lot more RAM) so they can do something really impressive with the menus. I'm fine with the current switch menus since they prioritize leaving as many resources available for the games as possible but it would be nice to have both cool menus and games that run better.
I swear to god, the pokemon snap and yoshis crafted world ones are so good! Ngl, if nintendo had to make this real and make some adjustments to these channels, snap and yoshi would be untouched!
2:30 Let's go. Also, Smash would get me hyped everytime I start up the game. And Metroid Dread looks cool too. And Mario Tennis Aces. And Pokemon Legends Arceus... Basically, the list goes on.
Ya know im starting to believe that they went from the home screen to the in game start screen when it comes to showing off those mini intros woth a few exceptions though
The Wii menu feels like its asking me what do you want to play? But the Switch doesn't give me that feeling anymore. It mostly has to do with the Wii, Wii U, and 3DS's charm but the switch's menus are boring i mean the Mii channel is just a profile settings option. The Switch does still have good games i just miss the old charm.
While I do like these, one thing I think alot of people don't know is just how limited the banner system is, which would invalidate most of these as they stand (ESPECIALLY Everybody 1-2 Switch) That being said, I think that Part Time UFO's banner is the best one
@@Chris-db5gy The Wii's banner system isn't capable of showing video files, everything is images and animations that move those images; I don't even think it's possible to make GIF-style animated images either
Most of these would make sense… Video files on the Wii menu icon/banner would be a hassle to implement, and most of the channels with lots of 3D movement wouldn’t make sense persay, since all channel banners/icons rely on 2D motionless graphics that are animated via a program.
hello anton!!! I saw your previous homebrewing videos and they were fantastic, will you ever release a tutorial on how to homebrew a switch?? thank you in advance for your response :)
Probably not anytime soon, as the Switch is still a current console and the process is more complicated. However, do expect a Homebrew Wii U and Homebrew Old 3DS/2DS tutorials in the near future instead.
while i love the way you conceptualised these switch games into wii channels, i still think you should extend the time wii channels appear and also do smooth transitions similar to the way kkclue implemented these transitions in his video showcasing start screens of various wii games before you click start game.

Also, if anyone missed my top 18 favorites from this video, here they are yet again:
1. Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training for Nintendo Switch (I love me some Brain Age type of games. Although I was surprised back then that this franchise ended up on the Switch of all places, even though I feel it works best on a handheld like the Nintendo DS than a home console like the Switch. But that's just me.)
2. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
3. Super Kirby Clash
4. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Absolutely love the ambiance, the wind howling, and the grass being blown by the wind. Absolutely beautiful to listen to if I left that channel on for say a good 6 hours or so.)
5. Animal Crossing: New Horizons (Pretty much the same as number 4, albeit has the waves and guitar playing here and there.)
6, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (That title song plays in my head from time to time)
7, Tetris 99 (1 vs. 99 players) (A person that has played this game time and time again, and it never gets old. Used to play it through a social media website, the extension, or even the original games. It's just that I haven't played Tetris in a very long time.)
8. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity (This one gives me the same feelings I have when seeing the Ju-On The Grudge Wii disc channel intro.)
9. New Pokemon Snap (Simple, straight to the point, and the music ends just perfectly. Although I did check and music, if you don't hit the start button on the wii disc channel, will continue to loop for as long as you let it play. Brunswick Pro Bowling is a good example of music continuously playing and not fading out at all.)
10. Ring Fit Adventure (Love the wii disc channel music, but I wouldn't bother playing the game outright.)
11. Anton Retro (As always from a channel whom loves to insert his/her own channel into the video to end it outright.)
12. Pokemon Quest (Giving me those Bit.Trip.Beat vibes from the Wiiware game of the same name....Very cool, but I sure wouldn't play it once or never.)
13. Mario Strikers: Battle League (Much like number 10, I like the Wii disc channel intro music, but wouldn't bother playing the game at all.)
14. Metroid Dread (Was very close to being the one similar to Ju-On The Grudge's Wii disc intro, but unfortunately it got beaten by
15. Jump Rope Challenge (Much like New Pokemon Snap, simple and straight to the point, you get the idea.)
16. The Stretchers (Absolutely love the Wii disc channel intro. Reminds me a lot of Moving Out and Overcooked All You Can Eat series of games. Definitely love the noise it makes.)
17. Pokken Tournament DX (Definitely like the music, but the fade out feels a bit cut off I would say. Still though, definitely gets you pumped up every time you turn this one on.)
18. Kirby's Return To DreamLand Deluxe (Pretty much similar to the Nintendo Wii's opening two consoles ago.)
19. Warioware: Get It Together (Definitely love me some Warioware, although the music doesn't fade out well from when the person pressed start on the channel.)
20. Game Builder Garage (Definitely like the Wii disc channel intro music, just not the game. Although I have not tried it as of yet.)
21. Cadence of Hyrule (Similar to Animal Crossing: New Horizon's Wii disc channel intro, but sounds like a lullaby to me. Which is very nice for those whom need to sleep to it.)
22. Big Brain Academy: Brain Vs. Brain (Definitely a game I also love as much as the Brain Age series, albeit it on a console and it fits the Wii vibe very well.)
Switch game Wii disc channel intros that I found to be perfect:
Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Super Mario Maker 2, Super Smash Bros.

But I wasn't able to so I was FORCED to delete the comment...All because TH-cam continues to give me the "Returned Error" message EVERY SINGLE TIME I Want To Edit A Comment From One Week, Few Days, Or Even A Month/Year/Years Ago....Freak You TH-cam, Your Comment Section Programming Stinks Like Garbage.)
@SuperFlashDrvier wth nice essay

The Switch UI may be fast, but it’s boring and lifeless. I’ll take the GameCube, Wii, or Wii U user interface anyday over Switch
Me too
The dsi got a better ui than at least you can move around your apps the switch is so wack
i wonder how hard itd be to make a new launcher for the switch that would let you have a home screen like this? im feeling a lil inspired right now!
Ever since 64DD (failed N64 add-on) the UI has been fun and unique. Then, the switch came.
I think it's because of how much they rushed the console so they could forget about Wii U as soon as possiible...

I like how they just throw trailers and intros from these games and they surprisingly work!
I noticed that too in some of the Wii disc channel intros the games had.
Yes I realized the same thing when playing Sonic Unleashed years ago but these are too good ❤
I get that it takes a ton of effort to do that alone and it still carries novelty but it doesn’t compare to all the unique music/animations created solely for the channels 😭

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

I loved the customization of the 3ds. There was the badge arcade which was super creative, the many different themes available, and the ability to change the size of all the game icons! It sucks that its so bland now
They killed the badge arcade sadly the last week it went all weird and defaulted back to how it was when the game first came out poor bunny
You mean you can only get free plays from the bonus claw now?
I remember I lost interest in the 3DS. But then I got addicted to the Ace Attorney Series. After Trials and Tribulations, I just had to play more. All of these soulful menus take me back to a simpler time, these really have each game their own flavor and personality upon clicking their channel! I think Satoru Iwata would be very proud of you for continuing his legacy!
Nintendo still remembers his legacy as proven in the credits for the Mario movie.
Mentioning iwata isn't really the same as "remembering his legacy" like it'd a hard thing to do
This is a video about Nintendo Switch games having their intros in the Wii Channel.
this just makes me wanna learn code so i can add this to my modded switch. this would've added so much flavor and variety to the switch if we had something like this instead of the clean look.

Any way, cool video!!!
4. Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp was developed by WayForward Technologies so you should have had the WayForward logo in place of the Intelligence Systems logo.

Yeah i hope future nintendo consoles get an ost like the nintendo 3ds...
Some of these could be edited a bit better, but conceptually they're all genius. Bravo.
Since a lot of these are Wii U ports they technically already had channels with the boot screen when you launch them
10:32 Imagine opening up your Wii late at night, with the volume turned down so low that no one in your house can hear you. Then you open up your game, and immediately the whole room erupts into KOWASHITAI
That's the alternate universe we could've gotten.
These are actually so well done! They look so real!
I'm pretty sure that most of them ate reused from trailers and in-game footages, but it works well

Honestly if I knew nothing about videogames these would fool me and make me think they were for the Wii, they're so well made
This is a really cool concept! I admire the work put in to making these mockups for SO MANY games.
The visuals are good but Wii channels typically used short sound clips for these, not continuous songs like most of the ones on this video
That’s what I’m saying
They couldve changed that for the switch
That's what I noticed too. Also, some Wii games would even have the ratings and info about it in the bottom left corner for those whom want straightforward info about the game before they even start it in the first place, just so they know what they're dealing with when playing the game.
I think they fit perfectly fine, it isnt too long but it would probably get cut abruptly realistically
I know ...
If only they shortened the audio
I've been in Wii modding for many years, these animations are not impossible to do! Although is not an easy task either, these animations displayed on the Disc Channel are not baked videos but a lot of .png images animated in real time. The group of all the images and the jingle that sounds when you clic on the channel must not exceed 516KB or else the Wii will crash when trying to read the disc
Wii modding moment. 516Kb will crash the entire system.
Wait why would someone assume it's impossible?

DUDE that splatoon 2 one is so CLEAN i love it
So amazing! You think you can do ones for certain third party Switch titles like Puyo Puyo Tetris and Super Bomberman R?
Im so proud of you right now.
Could you do more videos like this? I would like some Nintendo 3DS games next!
Yeah!
Ya know im starting to believe that they went from the home screen to the in game start screen when it comes to showing off those mini intros woth a few exceptions though
The Smash ultimate one just needs the logo with a sound effect, then it would be much more like Brawl. Keeping the trailer music just seems odd.
plot twist: this is the newest nintendo console called WII 2.
0:43 that little bit of gameplay was done great like the megaman 9 channel.
This is AMAZING!! Great work
They would be even more unique if they were made by nintendo cause the wii channel backgrounds all had unique music and assets
Any console related to Wii or the Ds has that certain Nintendo charm that I wish could come back
Alternate timeline where Nintendo just really didn’t let the Wii go
The Wii menu feels like its asking me what do you want to play? But the Switch doesn't give me that feeling anymore. It mostly has to do with the Wii, Wii U, and 3DS's charm but the switch's menus are boring i mean the Mii channel is just a profile settings option. The Switch does still have good games i just miss the old charm.
While I do like these, one thing I think alot of people don't know is just how limited the banner system is, which would invalidate most of these as they stand (ESPECIALLY Everybody 1-2 Switch)
That being said, I think that Part Time UFO's banner is the best one
What do you mean by limited?
@@Chris-db5gy The Wii's banner system isn't capable of showing video files, everything is images and animations that move those images; I don't even think it's possible to make GIF-style animated images either
Would love to see something like this, but with Wii U Splash Screens instead of Wii Channels
These animations are amazing!
that would be sick!
not me waiting for the old ds homebrewing video 💀
6:34 I had no idea that was even on the switch
Does anyone else get that weird feeling of even though it's not nostalgic (since it didn't happen) it definitely FEELS nostalgic?
It feels nostalgic because it's the Wii interface.
Those Kirby intros are AMAZING
I could really see return to dreamland deluxe being a wii game
Its a remake of a Wii game
@@lilorangefella Nuh uh
Every game I just got sadder because they should have definitely done this for the switch
7:10 I honestly feel that Skyward Sword HD wouldn’t be any different from how it actually was on the Wii
Right as I saw this comment, I got to 7:10
Tbh, this is actually better than the actual switch page, 10x better
Most of these would make sense…
Video files on the Wii menu icon/banner would be a hassle to implement, and most of the channels with lots of 3D movement wouldn’t make sense persay, since all channel banners/icons rely on 2D motionless graphics that are animated via a program.
The thumbnail is now my wallpaper thank you
hello anton!!!
@@antonretrohey I have a new Nintendo 3ds xl that I want to mod and is at version 11.13. Do I update it or mod it and then update it?
@@supermarioplushes2517 Since it’s a Newer model, you can update it to 11.17.0-50. You can then follow my latest tutorial for that version.
@@antonretro thanks
@@antonretrohow do I download ds, sega genesis, nes, gba, and 3DS games onto my 3DS and add on my Home Screen?
The pikmin 3 one was pure perfection
while i love the way you conceptualised these switch games into wii channels, i still think you should extend the time wii channels appear and also do smooth transitions similar to the way kkclue implemented these transitions in his video showcasing start screens of various wii games before you click start game.
They're all so good and so realistic! The Yoshi's Crafted World one is my favourite.
2:52 *the gbg community must be having a good time cuz of this rn*
*lol*
