- For this video I grabbed a vintage tool box and a salvaged Hobby Lobby frame from my stash and gave them each a beautiful new look.

Love the toolbox. It’s identical to my Daddy’s, which is outside in my barn. He built it before I was born and I am 77. I gave it to my oldest son a few years ago. He’s not wealthy,but says no one has the money to buy it. He loved his Pa and was holding him in his arms when he passed away in 1979. Special piece to us and thanks for the memories. Keep it for yourself! You will enjoy it. Thanks for sharing

The chicken's faces are so cute and comical. The toolbox is lovely too. I think you should keep it, you can always sell it at a later date. I think the stencilled word would look more "seated" into the piece if rubbed over lightly with sandpaper.

I have a wooden toolbox i bought years ago. I just never decided what to do with it. It was only 5.00 at a yard sale. They had it shoved under the table and was shocked i wanted to buy it. Always love your flips Rachel.

Text stencils always ruin the piece in my honest opinon... Especially in this case since the font was crisp and sharp which clashed with the rustic weathered look of the toolbox. Let's please stop putting random text on everything, we don't need labels to know what items are for or what room of the house we're in..

Oh my gosh Rachel, the tool caddy. It truly looks like something from the early 1900s. Love that you used milk paint on it. Wonderful, fantastic, awesome job on that. Your custom color fit it perfectly. This is not by any means taking away from your adorable chickens. They look so sweet in their frame. Just that tool box/caddy thingamajig stole my heart. If he was still with us he would have been 105 , this box is really old.

The items and projects are very pretty. On your milk paint you can use a heat gun to get more crackle or hair dryer.
