I just found you a few weeks ago (I may of said this before when commenting) & I am going through your videos. Your projects are so cute & tbh you give great instructions if you want to replicate any of them , which I appreciate since this is also your business & you're giving your "secrets" away 🙂 I most likely will never get to Spokane, but if I had the opportunity I totally would want to come visit your store as it looks so cute & inviting + the plants!!! You obviously have a VERY green thumb to boot. Again thanks for sharing your talent & secrets 🙂
Thank you - I am really trying to find that balance between too long and too rushed, so I appreciate your comment. I just wish the music hadn't gotten a little skewed . . .
@@theeclecticcottagespokane no worries a few places it got a wee bit loud but I was able to hear you I loved everything I always do and don't worry about the music it didn't hurt a thing......
@@theeclecticcottagespokane You're doing great with taking it more slowly and allowing us to feel part of your projects and no worries about the music, it was absolutely fine. ❤
I love all your projects from today and the colours that you choosed looks great together, great job and very good Idea to display the vignette on this beautiful old trunk. I'm so sad that i can't buy the paints from DIY here in France where i live, all the colours are so beautiful.😮
I love all the projects. I love to make over frames. I just run out of ideas when it comes to what am I putting in the frames. I really like the colors you used also. I appreciate seeing you bringing a vinette together. Saving several pieces and using them together makes it me happy. They look like you designed a collection. Have a great weekend Rachel.
I'm so glad you liked them - I love it when I actually end up with items in my stash that I can use to create one cohesive vignette! It doesn't happen often, but it's so fun when it does!! :) Thank you so much!!
Firstly I love your creativity and style. I never criticize an artist but I don’t think you are aware that the green frame with the book page speaks of death. I was admiring the flower transfer and noticed the words. And then to see it sitting on a book the says “The best is yet to come”. I apologize if I offended anyone with my observation or opinion. I want you to be able to resell this beautiful frame. With kindness and love meant. ♥
Oh goodness - of course it does . . . for crying out loud . . . . I know I read the pages - I must have inadvertently flipped that one over! I will definitely re-do it before I put it out on the floor - thanks for the catch! Anyway - thank you - and thanks for watching!

I have never had the music issue before - not sure what happened, but I can assure you it wasn't intentional. Thank you though - and thanks for watching! :)
I love those cute little bunnies! I know, I know, they weren’t a makeover. I have to say that my absolute favorite makeover this week would be the candlesticks. Surprises me because black is not a go to color for me but they could work in any primitive vignette I have or would ever have. Looking forward to our next visit just to see you work your magic!!!:):):)
I love them all! I can’t pick a favorite!!!! I use either Stays-On Ink or Distress Oxide by Ranger on paper. The Oxide has several beautiful vintage colors. Transfers go down really easy with the inks.❤❤❤
Yes loved the colors especially the green. The riser was so pretty and the pix frames. I have been getting ahead of Xmas. And waiting for the new IOD Xmas transfers which they said will be around Sept.
Hi Rachael, I can't wait to try the Decrepit dusting powder. Have you ever done anything large with it? I was just getting ready to age a large cabinet with dark wax, but I was not looking forward to wax on wax off 😂 and all the rubbing with my arthritis hand. You made using that so easy. Thanks in advance for any help. Mary Kaye ❤ p,s. Love you picture Frames
I haven't done anything large with the decrepit dust at this point. It is easy to use - and if you have clear wax on a brush somewhere close, you can use it as an "eraser" of sorts, in case you get too much of the dust in one spot. :) And I'm glad you liked the frames! :)
Wow!!! I love everything you’ve done today!! Is there a particular reason you like using Liquid Patina for the decoupage vs mod podge? The riser is my favorite!
Thank you!! And I like the liquid patina for paper because it is thinner and smoother than Mod Podge, which makes it a little easier to work with. It's not as tacky, either - so if you have to move things around or adjust, the liquid patina tends to be a bit more forgiving.
Thank you - and how I wish that was the sound of crashing waves, but alas - it is just the passing traffic on the very busy road that my shop sits on, lol.
I did something similar with paper from a Japanese booklet and a geisha image I wanted to use. Turned out great. I love the technique. Oops, your music drowned you out a couple of times. (You likely already know that!) I always look forward to your videos! Oh, where do you get your bondo?
It was definitely a fun project - thank you! And yes, I am aware of my editing faux pas where the music is concerned . . . makes me so sad!! And I am pretty sure I got the bondo at either Home Depot or Lowes, but it has been a while since I purchased it . . . . thankfully with that smell it's not something I use often! haha
