      Draumr is my dream camping solution! I don’t have one but I’m falling asleep just looking at it 😊

    Good thing about the 3.0 is the footbox stops the sleeping bag falling out unlike the new one. Great Hammock.

      I've been grateful for it on a number of occasions. Thanks for watching.

      Have you experienced that with the later versions? Just curious. Thinking of getting the 5.0. Cheers!

      @@magnusengelmarkfrom videos ive seen, its an issue. One guy put that rubber shelf paper - that youd put in a cabinet , it doesnt have adhesive its just grippy, he clipped it into hisnwith some chip clip things and that worked a little. Another guy tied a string to his and hung it up om one.of the straps.
      I just figured it could be draped over the ridgeline and than pulled down omce youre in. I havent seen anyone do that yet lol

    That's crazy Ed, mad how this setup is that old already. I had a mate that had one and it always fascinated me. I'd have to look if you can still buy this. Nice review after several years!!!

      Yeah, the times gone fast. They still sell updated versions but I don't think they still do this one.

    Brilliant video, mate! Just got my 5.0, and it seems there are just minor changes. And I thought about it: It is pricey... !!! BUT... if you look at it differently, it's only 2-4 nights in a regular european hotel, and these lasts for many years.. not just one night.. 🙂 At least that's what I told my wife 🙂Had my first try-out night at my terrace last night, and I haven't slept this good in years!! Even if it was 2 degrees outside!! Can't wait to use it on motorcycle trips around Norway this summer, and the years to come!! Brilliant hammock!! And brilliant video!

      Thanks mate, you make a good point about the price. It's a good way of looking at it. Enjoy your amok, I hope you get many years' usage from it 👍

    I’ve got an inflatable pillow with a thin foam casing. Inside the casing I put a magnet, and I put another one inside the pad sleep, so the pillow stays in place. Works well for the most part, especially with the 5.0 version where you’ve got a little hole in the top of the sleeve to deflate the pad. I just reach in and place the magnet. Then I can adjust it easily by moving the pillow manually.
    Also my sleeping bag I tuck it in between the side tissue and the straps. Otherwise it’ll fall down and I don’t want my down bag wet or dirty

    • @ECWoodlandCrafts
      @ECWoodlandCrafts  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great idea with the magnet 👍

      @@ECWoodlandCrafts yeah I’m forever hopeful mate, the full set up with tarp, hammock, air mat and small poles to hold ends out comes in around £500 with postage, one day maybe

    • @ECWoodlandCrafts
      @ECWoodlandCrafts  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @simongeorge3643 I believe that sticks can be used instead of the poles and any mat the right size with ridges running lengthways can be used, which can help reduce costs. It's still very pricy for what it is.

    What kind of pad do you use ? I have a NeoAoir sleeping pad and wonder if it could suit ? BR

    • @ECWoodlandCrafts

      I use an exped pad. I believe any pad with straight baffles is suitable, but you're probably best to check the amok website.
