I see the video of how to do the sofware changes. Curious about how the ESC gets the BEC power. When the power from the track is applied through the controller does the ESC turn on and immediately function without a time delay. Does the bec wires remove from the talon 25? These little PWM drives are amazing. I’m use to working on 50-160hp PWM elevator Drives . This is the future for sure

Yes as soon as power is applied to the motor controller (esc) it starts up around 4 volts and sends pluses to the brushless motor.
The bec wires need to be there for programming. They can be shortened if you are careful when soldering them back on.

What gear ratio are you running in the drag car? 1/8 or 1/4 mile track?

Hi Ron Thank you for your interest. The car has 13x47 64 pitch with 1.070 x .435 tires. The track is 31 feet long 3 1/2 feet longer than an 1/8th.

I had a 13 x 48 x 1 1/16 tall x .435 w tires on the car. You can use a EMAX 4500kv 1106 motor. Your results may very Thank you for your interest!
