- In this review of Hyundai Sonata 2.5, we have its owner with us who have driven Sonata for over 12,000 KMs in Pakistan.
The new Sonata was launched in Pakistan a year ago and since then it has received a great response from the market. It is currently offered in 2 variants i.e. 2.0 & 2.5. This one is the top of the line, Sonata 2.5.
If you're looking for a D-Segment sedan in Pakistan, then Hyundai Sonata is the only option available locally. This Sonata 2.5 has a lot of features including 6 SRS Airbags, Heads-up Display (HUD) and Rear auto curtain for driver's convenience. It also has a remote engine starter option.

Yes it is good value to money but a little thing that makes it a bit slighter than other cars is ADAS, because now in Pakistan most of the cars have ADAS features

quite a machine for this type of money, only concern I have is the limp mode issue due to throttle body clogging even on High octane fuel for some owners

Nice review of a great car, I am driving Sonata in Canada for 9 years now driven 103 K, ZERO issue of quality or mechanical, just regular maintenance cost....enjoy your pride & joy & keep smiling !!!

6:45 I have came to know from experience that Honda's meters show atleast 2-4 km difference in fuel consumption figures. Toyotas are also around that figure. Toyota aqua was the most accurate for fuel consumption figures. I think hybrids give almost accurate average figures. Now i have Peugeot allure. It has 1-1.5 km difference in figure of fuel consumption.

I have sportage fwd and I also have money to upgrade it to sonata 2.5. But I don't find it sensible. Sportage is way more value to money as compared to sonata.

Which after market tyres this sonata has now?
Its running on Goodyear tyres.
Hyundai should release the 2.5 turbo nline sonata as they have in other countries. That car has a much more refined engine and it will demolish a rs turbo.

Hyundai Sonata is good to have. However, as far as Value for money is concerned, a well maintained Toyota Mark X gives you more value for the money spent and even more luxury and driving pleasure.
Guys I have a review request. Kindly find a Prado TXL 2017 ( facelift) and compare it to Fortuner GRS
As this Prado is going to be fresh import and currently the price difference is 3.5-5 million.
This price does put Prado in consideration of a fortuner buyer. Plus fresh import means don’t have to worry about meter tempering as can verify from auction sheet.

This guy is contradicting himself . First he said that he changed the tyres first thing when bought the car and then went on saying he has to service the throttle body with every oil change and then claimed that unlike civic and corolla it has no issues .
I changed the tyres first thing when I boight my civic as well. General tyres such :)
Secondly, throttle service is now mandatory for these cars and are considered as part of the regular service maintenance. Nothing more💯
I suggest everyone not. to put high octane . just use simple fuel and enjoy the vehicle .. some how other high octane creates the throttle body issue.. once thing more.. as far as I have experience and discussed with lot of user, there is no difference in pickup or gear changes at least at 12k driven vehicle..

Bloombig always hating on Honda Civic, its a pity you guys couldn’t pay the difference and had to cancel the booking, no doubt civic rs 11 gen is a very good car , sonata is also an excellent car … but what do u expect when you go to market and see the same corolla grande you got for 22 lacs in 2014 is now 75 lacs. Nothing is value to money here

I owned sportage fwd purchased in September 20 and today meter reading is 180547 . I didn't expect that toyota k ilawa koi vehicles itni reliable ho sakti ha q k meri gari field ma bhi bht chalti ha still very good experience. Hyundai aur kia is a next real threat for Japanese. 12000 km chal k gari ka kya pta chalta ha new jaisi hi ha lakin i think these both korean companies are reliable like Japanese 👍
I have a Sportage AWD bought it in mid 2020. Have driven the car 80000 km. Have you done any suspension work on your car yet? I changed the tie rod ends on mine recently which costed 38k including labour. Other then no work done just regular maintenance. What is your experience?

Is ki sheet jo body k neechy hoti ha enngine waghira ki protection k liye wo toot gai thi lakin insurance ma thek krwai thi baqi okay ha . Mera experience kafi acha ha q k ma isko village ma kachy paka rasto pa bhi bht chalata ho.
