The Longest Descent in the PNW?

- Darrington is home to some amazing mountain biking trails and perhaps the crown jewel of North Mountain is an epic 2,800 foot descent that spans over 4 miles of distance starting at the North Mountain Fire Lookout. This is Out of the Blue and it is an absolute treat to ride! I hope you enjoy watching and riding along with me!

haha yeah man.. you need a shuttle, an ebike, or a masochistic personality for sure. Great riding though and a really cool area to visit!

@@sasquatchmtb Yep, we camped at the campground at the base of the mountain, have the last couple years, great place!
Check out timberline to town (T2T) trail outside portland. 5.5 miles and ~2000 feet descending, or Lower alpine at oakridge, it's almost 9 miles and 7 miles of it is descending.
Thanks! I haven't personally ridden either, but I have a buddy who has ridden the T2T (MTBCorbin) He has a video of that trip on his youtube I believe. 🤘

looks awesome! but the answer is no... not the longest. if you ever venture down to Ashland, Or, you can do "Time Warp', starts at the top of Mt. Ashland and works about 20+ miles back to downtown Ashland... super fun and epic!!
I haven't been on Time Warp, but I do know there are a few descents in OR that can beat OOTB in distance yeah! Time warp looks really similar in distance itself but you must piece together some other trails on the way down? Looks EPIC for sure! You definitely need to ride OOTB. If you're ever trying to setup a time to shuttle it let me know. My schedule isn't super flexible, but I can transport 5 bikes and I'm always game to try to make something happen!
