Thank for teaching us about making sure we grab the top of "v" when we do normal treble stitch. I was wondering why it didn't turn out , as I watched other waffle stitch videos, they didn't mention this important step.

Awesome video. This made it very easy to follow. I’m making a blanket, blocks of the waffle pattern, in squares, using leftover yarn from other projects. It will be a melange of colours, but I believe it will look pretty. Time will tell 😊

I am in the middle of doing a scarf with this stitch and it looks lovely. The only thing I am finding is that this stitch seems to eat up a lot more yarn than normal. I think this is due to the fact that this stitch gives a 3D effect and it is quite thick so more yarn is needed for this. I am now waiting for more yarn to come and I hope that I have ordered enough to complete my scarf. I will let you know how things turn out.

I watched this video and noticed your right hand does not touch yarn, I started copying you, I finally got my style, it's not wrapped around pinky, but by trying your style, I found mine, wanted to make a blanket that folded corner to corner, love this stitch, love the feel and how it looks, almost 3d.
