This is now one of my favorite stitches. You are right it looks amazing in any thread. I appreciate how easy your videos are to follow AND you don’t drag on each stitch. You show us then let us work on our own to the end of the row. Makes it much nicer to follow. I am by far not advanced but I want to go through a video fast. Can’t wait to learn another stitch now. Prepping for Christmas presents.
I love your tutorial. You are very thorough and show exactly where we should be inserting the hook. However, I wish your camera angle was more over your shoulder so we could see what you're doing a little better. Sometimes your work goes too far below the camera lens.
I’m a true beginner and this star stitch tutorial is the best. She takes her time and that makes it easy to learn this beautiful stitch!
Great video! I appreciate the level of detail in explaining where each stitch goes. I was 3 rows in and I knew something was wrong. It was that pesky stitch 3. Other videos I looked at did not clearly explain where that stitch needs to be made. I ripped it all out and now I'm back on track!
Really great instruction. I have watched several dozen videos and this is so very well explained. @@michelleherrell4181 I’d say it depends on how thick your yarn is. I used a little bit thicker yarn than in the video and I did 19 chains if I remember correctly
I've watched this video so many times now. I'm not normally lacking in adventure when it comes to crochet, but I never and up doing this one and it's my favourite. Xxx

Very well explained there are only a few shots where you go out of focus or the stitch is out of sight of the camera but it's workable. Yes, you are correct, cotton yarn gives a prettier design than worsted yarn.

thank you for this video. I did a slight differnent stitch look...I used the third loop of the half treble...makes a ridge and separates the stars.

I am using 4 ply (which is what most people use) yarn so what size hook and how much yarn would you estimate for 54 inch scarf. Beautiful pattern thanks for sharing it! ♥

I love this stitch and you explained it very well. Is there a way to minimize the size of the hole on the edge where you do 2 1/2 treble crochet? Although yours doesn't seem like theres much of a gap. Is that why you end with 2 x 1/2 treble crochet instead of one?

HELP! I've done the start stich a dozen times with the video. I swear I'm doing it right and it looks right but my stars shrink by 2 every new row thus making my project tiny very quickly. What am I doing wrong? HELP!! thank you for the lovely video!
